Vindicated. Honored. Thankful. She couldn’t quite pinpoint what she was feeling, but at the core of her being, Indira knew a quiet sense of joy. A sense of belonging sank deep into her bones, and she knew that she could now, without any reservations, claim Ichika no-Hoen as her true and rightful home. She hadn’t thought much about it in the months since she had left the Clan, but she had been homeless. And now she found herself situated, meeting new beings, learning new things. She was satisfied with that, well and truly. She couldn’t think of much more that she would ask for right now.

The newly minted permanent member of Ichika no-Hoen took to browsing the neutral territories somewhat near her new home, curiosity and the instinct to gain knowledge driving her. She knew that she would want to return home before she found herself too deeply immersed in the night, but she had plenty of time. The Optime found herself bathed in afternoon light as she descended into the foot hills to take in the water fall. And that light seemed to be swallowed by water fall as she continued her descent.

The medium gray coywolf let her pale blue eyes drink in the sights of this new place, a discovery that she would catalog for another trip, perhaps in the spring. Winter was coming, and she knew that it wouldn’t be a lean time, perse. But she wanted to stick close to Ichika, lest the forthcoming snow separate her from the new home that she had worked so hard to find. It felt so good not to be homeless any longer, to have a place to call her own. And now she wanted to find others to call her own, friends, family. So much awaited her, and she could not wait to embrace it openly.
