There was nothing more spectacular than having hands. Ever since her first change she just couldn’t get enough of them. The world had changed when she found her bipedal form, and it had changed for the better. With Legba on her side and her hands ready to work the world was her oyster, and she was damn sure going to crack it and get that pearl inside.
In fact, the girl hardly ever visited her lupus form since her first shift to Optime. She did find the bulky Secui body intriguing too, and she liked it for its powerful build and rough feel. If anything, she was more apt to transform into that shape than her Lupus form as her paws were still quite dexterous as a halfling.
She pondered as she sat on her mother’s stoop, hunched over as she was making her chubby stomach appear even larger. There were so many things she could do now… things like daddy did. They were tricks that her whole pack and performed all her life and she could only pine after until now. Now she was capable, now she could be just like them. Oh, but she wasn’t very much like them, and somewhere in the back of her mind she knew it. Over the last few weeks the girl became more aware of her position, that she was the only one who could see her friend Papa Legba. Should she hide him? Never! He had done much for her and she would never renounce his guidance, even if the others thought she was crazy. But did they? That, she didn’t know. That, she didn’t really care.
This was something Legba had showed her when she was just a puppy. For weeks she had dreams of being able to make one ever since, and now that she had her hands, she could. Of course she was a completely novice seamstress but still she worked, sewing the patches of burlap together into the rough shape of a form.
