Insomnia shivered as the wind pierced through her thin coat of fur. She would need to get something to cover that, and soon. When she had been banished, she only had time to take her horse, bow, bag and Armsaim before Lucretia had forced her out, a disgusted look on the woman's beautiful petit face.

Absently rubbing at the scars on her back, the jackayote looked down at Laevestik's mane as it whipped in the wind. The horse was bored with his slow walk, but his mistress was slowly freezing to death and would rather not actually have him go as fast as he possibly could, as he liked to do. Looking up at the bare trees, the woman sighed. More pitiful scenery, and most of it all the same.

Yawning, the pale rubbed her eyes and then spurred on the horse, deciding she'd rather speed up finding shelter and getting cold than slowly freezing to death sitting on a horse with her thumb up her ass, essentially. So she leaned over Lae's head and let him break into whatever speed he chose.

But she stopped him, almost as soon as he started. The smell of coyotes had been steadily getting stronger, and now it was almost tangible. Insomnia closed her eyes and imagined that if she opened her mouth, she'd get fur and coyote flesh in it. Opening her eyes again, the jackayote decided that she'd not go any further, and meowed quietly. Taking his own lead, Laevestik decided to pace back and forth nervously and the outrageous smell of coyotes.

The tiny woman had been following Sup-Sup through the fields, trailing far enough behind to let him hunt on his own but close enough to make certain that he did not become a tasty treat for another. Her grey lavender orbs watched with amusement as she knew the feline was trying to lose her. He would fail, he always did. The small beast was not yet skilled enough in tracking and evading to lose his canine companion. Instead she would dutifuly follow along behind him to keep him out of trouble, and to keep the territories that surrounded the clan free of pests and trouble. The way she saw it, if she kept it away from the clan lands in the first place they wouldn't arrive at the border.

She let out a small yawn as she paused. Her oversized ears had caught the sound of hooves pacing. She chirped to her small feline company as she turned away from the path and cut across the field towards the scent of a horse. If it was alone she might luck out and capture it for the clan, if not then she would find out just why the owner was so close to the clan lands and why they were lurking so. Her small eyes narrowed as she caught the strange scent of another. It reminded her somewhat of Enkiel but it wasn't the same. She shook her head to clear her mind and frowned before quicking her pace to reach the stranger, the small feline not far behind.

Her tiny form turned from behind an old shrub and caught sight of the Jackal that rode high up on the horse. She was quiet a moment as she studied the beast and rider. She was canine, though a sight stranger than some Zana had seen before, but not the strangest. She padded out from behind the bushes and called out. "Hello stranger.." Not realizing that Sup-Sup had trotted along behind her to investigate as well.

I am so happy now. Sorry this is short. iPads are hard to type on and I have no computer access other than this. Also... Idk. It's just good like this? I'll do a better one when I reply again.

Insomnia watched the borders that were so clearly marked with the skulls of what looked to be wolves and swallowed tightly. It wasn't pleasant to be back in a place that was so markedly against trespassers as her former home was. Armsaim whispered out of the pale's backpack and stared out into the distance. Hissing quietly into the jackayote's ear, the cat gestured towards another cat and a small coyote following it.
"What is this place?" Insomnia asked. "It reminds me of my old home, in a way."
As she spoke, then woman looked at the cat. It was a beautiful cat, obviously worth worship. Then again, in her eyes, all cats were worth worship. Carefully dismounting, Insomnia approached the two, her tail down and unassuming. "May I look to your cat, miss?" she asked politely as she could. Though tiredly, she would never pass up a chance to see another cat.

Zana wasn't particularly worried about the strangers at their border. Often enough strangers found their way near the steps of Inferni and their markers generally did well enough to keep them at bay. She did however smile slightly as the other female spoke, asking just where she'd stumbled upon. Zana turned her eyes up to the stranger as she answered simply. "This is Inferni, the clan I belong to lives here. Coyotes for the most, mixed with some other breeds and whatnot.." She eyed the woman curiously as she asked. "Why does it remind you of home?" She had never really met anyone who had been drawn to Inferni's borders because it had reminded them of something they had left behind, but this woman was strange enough that Zana had no clue just what she could have left behind in the first place.

Zana watched as the woman approached, amused slightly that it was Sup-Sup that she was more interested in than her own kind. She didn't take too much offense to it since she knew that her feline companion loved attention and would bask in the glory of being petted and pawed at for hours, unless of course it was Helotes, that was another story all together. She chuckled as she watched the small feline move forward to join with the hybrid creature as she raised a brow.

"A cat is not a creature to be controlled, for they are masters of their own. You are better off asking him, though by the looks of it he does not mind at all." She smiled slightly, wondering just why this stranger was so interested in her feline company but it was enough to keep her sitting her just the same. She watched the ivory woman a moment before added. "I am Zana." her grey lavender eyes taking sight of the whole picture before her before settling back in on the woman and beast.

Insomnia scratched at the cat's ears and let out a quiet meow. She smiled blissfully at the beautiful feline, and then looked up at the coyote-woman in front of her. "Inferni..." she whispered, tasting the word. It seemed like a good word, a good place. Inferni. That reminded her of something, some word she was supposed to learn as a child. Or some language. She didn't remember, she tried to put it in the past.

"It reminds me of my home because we didn't take too well to outsiders. We... Considered them unlucky." she said. It was an understatement. The people in the clan killed anyone unfamiliar and without an escort. Wholesale slaughter, and then they put the bones up on display. Though the bones weren't displayed at first, it was the torn and bloody corpses.

"There were walls in our clan. Outside the territory. Strong walls. Covered in... Bodies." the woman left it at that, allowing herself a break. Her English was one of her first languages, but not the very first she was raised saying. But the mental imagery, the memories stemming from her words made her want to almost gag. The tribe had only shown mercy once. A woman came to them, pregnant and scared. They promised to take care of her children. Once she gave birth, she was murdered. Brutally.

Stifling a shudder, Insomnia looked back at the cat. "Lots of kitties were running around in my old home. We loved kitty cats." she smiled at the feline. "What is your name, little one?" she asked him, as Armsaim wounder her way through the grasses, obviously intent on pouncing on the other cat.
