Her hormones were behaving themselves today, and Amy had even gained an abundant trade. A sheep was now tied up behind the wagon, thick wool covering it's body. In the spring she could take it's wool and meat. Until then she'd let it grow, or maybe find someone else to care for it while she traveled. Amy didn't have the patience or inclination for animals, despite the value that she knew they held. It was much easier for her to trade them as soon as she could, or simply kill and eat them as part of her food supply.
Relaxing under the canopy she had set up Amy took a sip of her glass of wine. It was much farther watered down than what she offered her guests, needing to keep a cool head for the entire day. Losing control wasn't an option in these matters. Being rude or making a poor trade because of alcohol was inexcusable. Amy couldn't afford that at this point, pitting all her wits and abilities against those merchants who encroached on her trade territory, threatening her business. Her sharp eyes scanned the crowds, looking for someone willing to trade.
