OOC April 13

Hadley was back in the pack, and the relief he felt from that couldn't be dampened. He loved this pack, and wasn't planning on ever leaving it for anything other than getting supplies ever again. Even then, he was going to make it a short trip, returning long before the sun set. He was not a traveler, happiest when in his home surrounded by those he cared for. He had slowly been giving out the carvings he'd made for his pack mates, and now he was here to deliver another.

His heart hammered, standing outside the sole's door. Beyond here was the leader, the one who had allowed him to leave the pack, had told him he could return. He owed so much to this one, and felt infinitely more comfortable around Jazper than he did around the luna, as unfair as that was. Lifting one hand he finally knocked on the door, hoping that the leader would come out, that he could get this over with quickly.

The sun sprawled out through his room from the window, lighting up the white walls. The Courthouse was the perfect place for housing so many members and it gave the two alphas their own space where the members could usually find them early in the morning or later in the evening. Jazper’s room was fairly large containing a large bed, some couches and chairs by a fireplace, a desk, a full bookshelf and his violin held up vertically by a black stand. The Knight sat comfortably one of the couches, a book about the ways of human ‘Knights’ in his massive hands. Humans were so odd and violent at times but their sport called jousting particularly struck him as something the pack could enjoy. They had enough horses, all they needed was some padding and a long stick and they could have a grand old time.

A knock caused his ears to perk and his head to turn in confusion. It wasn’t often that a member knocked on his door, though they were free to call on him at any time for whatever reason they pleased. The Knight had gotten use to the quiet, lonely room. There were no memories in Casa to haunt him, no past love to make the solitude greater. Standing slowly the giant placed the book down on the couch and lazily made his way to open the door. As he pulled the knob towards him his eyebrows raised in slight shock, before him stood the brown hued male who had gone off soul searching to Aniwaya and then traveled around Souls. “Hadley, it’s great to see you again.” The warrior greeted the man with a smile, reaching out to pat him on the shoulder.

“Won’t you come in? I’d love to hear about your trip.” With his free hand he motioned into the room. He wasn’t sure if the ex-slave would take up the offer but the giant genuinely was curious what Hadley had done in his time away. “Will you be staying with us permanently?” The Sole tried his best to allow his members freedom and give them the benefit of the doubt in their times of need, but he wished them all loyalty to each other and the pack as a whole. In the end he only wanted his members to feel at home and among friends.

The door opened, revealing the powerful leader that held his home together. Hadley smiled shyly, reassured by the brief clap on his shoulder. He opened his mouth to explain why he was there and give Jazper the carving that he had made, but the giant male wasn't done talking, sweeping his arm for Hadley to step in. Nervously he nodded, entering the large room. Curiously he looked around, noting all the books and the large bed that was there. Light filtered in as well, giving the room a very large welcoming air to it. It looked like it was meant to be filled with people, or an intimate retreat for lovers, not for what he had come for.

Asked if he would be staying in the pack permanently Hadley jerked, suddenly feeling immensely guilty. The trip had done him good, but he still felt bad for leaving his pack behind to go off. I-if it's alright, I want to stay. The scarred hybrid shifted around nervously before remembering why he had come, fishing through his satchel before pulling up a simple wooden carving depicting a shield. Made one for the members... Would he like it?

The Alpha waited patiently for the brown hued male to enter his room, Hadley’s nervousness clear on his face. When it came to Hadley the Knight had to remind himself to be patient and calm, he was large and intimidating enough to the ex-slave and knowing the member’s past the Sole tried his best to adjust his behavior around him. It was truly sad what had happened to Hadley and silently Jazper wondered just how he had come to be a slave for the women known as Amy, but he would never ask out of the fear of causing the other male’s recover to reverse or slow. Life seemed to be difficult enough for the brown male without people asking questions, though the warrior knew that if he ever met Amy she would have a lot to answer to, and his sword would show her the freedom only death could bring.

Shaking the thoughts from his head the leader smiled happily as the nervous wolf spoke, reaching out a hand containing a carved shield. Jazper nodded his thanks as he took hold of the little carving, curiosity taking hold of the coal leader as he turned it over in his hand admiring it. “This is very good Hadley. Far better than I could ever do.” He chuckled lightly, remembering the rough designs he had carved in wood as a younger man. Looking up at Hadley he added, “You are more than welcome to stay my friend. Casa is your home for as long as you please and even if you leave you would be welcome to visit as often as you liked.” The Scottish lull was kind, his words seeking to comfort the other man. “How are you liking it here anyway? The others treating you alright?” Although Jazper was sure that Casa’s members had enough brains to extend some extra kindness in Hadley’s direction he thought it best to check in.

He was so relieved when the carving was accepted. Hadley had been worried that it wouldn't be good enough. The black wolf seemed to really like it though, spending some time looking at it. His ears tucked down bashfully at the praise, a small smile on his face. It wasn't the best, but at least it was valued. His tail did a single swishing move behind him before returning to it's place behind him, still with respect for the leader before him.

His whole body brightened at the warm words offered. He could stay in Casa, have a home there. The smile this time wasn't anything tiny, but a wide tooth filled grin, his tail wagging behind him. He loved this pack he'd found himself in, even if scary things did occasionally happen there. Hadley pushed the attacks he'd witnessed out of his mind, focusing on the question. I really like it. The members are all...very friendly.
