Early morning at the Grand Lake.

Sidra was starting to wonder if her and Kativa would be rogues forever. Destined to roam this dangrous land for a life time constantly being threatened by the dangers this strange place holds. Xander had left them to join a pack, he was smart. This life was fun, but it had to end at some point. What about family? What about a life with someone. These were things Sidra hardly ever thought about. The thoughts of having pups and a man at her side were simply illusions to her. She never pictured herself in a man's arms and truly loving him. It was just to strange a thought after all that she's been through. A sigh drew from her lips as she thought about it.

The gold and black female rode through the forest atop Soloman, her dun stallion. He gave her whinnies every now and then as if to talk to her. "Yes love. I know. You're going to get tired of this life some day as well. Walking about without a place to call home." She patted his neck with reassurance. He tossed his head and snorted which brought a giggle from Sidra. "Don't you worry, we'll find a home eventually." Him and Kativa were the two people that kept her sane when she felt on edge of a breakdown. Which happened every now and then. It was understandable though. Their lives had been tough so far, having to deal with things most wolves her age wouldn't have to worry about. She shook her head, not wanting to think about it. They were hurtful memories.

Soon, she came through the trees and laid her eyes on a huge lake. A smile was instantly brought to her face when she saw it. It was beautiful, just like the many lakes back home in summer when the ice wasn't covering them. This is where she'd take a break. She let Soloman drink while she lapped up some of the water as well. Fresh and crisp. Then she simply sat down at the waters edge and look over it. All of the good memories she had coming back to her in an instant. Like she was back home with real family. Playing with her pack mates and learning all about being a wolf. If only she could go back.

Come Belial, follow me. Aika commanded, waiting for the black horse to follow her. It was time for them to leave the campsite and continue in their journey through those strange lands. Onix, The dark female’s pet quickly climbed the wagon weels and wrapped herself around various pelts as soon as the horse started to move.Aika leaded the male horse through the forest, toward a nearby lake where they were going to stop in order to get their fill and with some luck, catch some fish to eat.

They soon reached the lake border where the dark female allowed Belial to wander around and eat from the new grown vegetation that surrounded the enormous water body. Stay here Onix, ill fish something. Aika walked slowly into the cold water, trying to dont scare fish that hided under the shadow of an enormous tree, when she was close enough, she started to attack the fish with her clawed hand, trapping them between her hands.

After a few minutes, Aika pulled the last fish to the groud and sat back to start eating. She breathed deeply filling her lungs with the scent of fresh fish meat and something else.... She sniffed the air a bit and noticed something new. Turning her head toward the forest line Aika spotted another female that ran toward the water. An advertance growl escaped from the hybrid's lips as she turned her body toward the stranger. Who are you?

OOC here!

The charcoal and tawny wolf seemed to have drifted off into a wonderful daydream. She let her head tilt back and she closed her eyes. Tail thumping on the hard earth beneath her. A bright smile creased her lips. She hummed a song that her father used to sing when the pack would gather to tell stories, swaying her head to the beat. Her train of thought was broken when Soloman snorted next to her, digging his front hoof into the dirt creating a loud clack of rocks. Her eyes jutted open when she realized that they weren't alone. She tested the air and found the scent of another female. Soloman let out another whinny and turned his head to look at the stranger. Sidra turned as well, hackles rising when her eyes fell upon a dark brown black female, marked with bright colored paint. A growl escaped her when the wolf spoke asking who she was. The stranger growled back at her, not a welcoming gesture and something Sidra didn't appreciate.

The slender female rose from her sitting position into a defensive crouch. One hand in a fist holding herself up, while the other remained at her side. Claws open and ready to fight the stranger. If she needed to she could retrieve a dagger from her pack, but it was too early to tell if that was necessary. Sidra held her head and tail high in a proud manner, trying to be as intimidating as possible. "Who wants to know, and why should I even tell you?" She snapped back, words sharp as they rolled off her tongue. Sidra remained low to the ground, staring back at the Optime female with intense opal eyes while she waited for a response. Why should she be the first to introduce herself?

The black horse snorted heavily as he quickly ran to face the strangers. Onix crawled slowly toward both canids hissing aggressively as her owner was threatened, the silver snake raised her head and opened her mouth showing the black inside meant for intimidating her enemy.

The dark hybrid incorporated herself slowly. Calm down. She whispered for the angry beasts to back down, they wouldn't attack unless they were told to or there was a real reason for doing so. They remained still, just waiting...

My name is Aika. The dark pelted hybrid answered after a few moments keeping her voice calmed, her arrogance and dislike could be seen, reflected in her eyes as she spoke. I was about to eat... Aika explained pointing the pile of fish that laid next to her. You surprised me, sorry for reacting in such a way. The words she spoke werent sincere, but the lone female was skilled at lying. Aika didn't cared if her attitude was rude, she just wanted to eat and get away from there as soon as possible, starting a conflict with the stranger would only delay her...

OOC here!

Sidra reacted quickly to the animals' reactions. Soloman reacted with equal ferociousness. He stepped to her side and reared viciously, kicking his front hooves out in attempt to protect his girl. A snake also slivered closer to her, hissing angrily. The malicious reactions caused Sidra to grab her dagger from the pack that slung over Soloman, he snorted with discontent back at the stranger. He walked a couple steps ahead of Sidra when she rose to full height and unsheathed the dagger, lowering her hand to hold the dagger at her hip. She was ready to fight. Offensive stance, lips curled over her jaw in a snarl. Ears positioned forward with overwhelming intensity. The two beasts didn't dare come closer to her, they'd only be met with bloodshed. The dark stranger uttered words for them to calm themselves. "They better. Or they'll end up injured. I warn you."

A couple tense moments passed. Both wolves staring at one another ready to protect themselves. Companion animals ready to fight along side them. Then the stranger's voice broke the silence, calm and collected. Sidra stared at her with a narrowed gaze. Observing her posture and body language closely. Listening for any hint of a lie, she wasn't a ditz. A slight smile creased Sidra's lips as the stranger spoke. Her voice said she was calm, but her eyes told a different story. She was pissed at this situation she'd stumbled into. Sidra looked to the pile of fish that sat next to her, believable. An apology followed. But, Sidra wasn't going to let down her guard on a stranger's apology. It seemed she was telling the truth, but she wasn't one to trust easily. Sidra took a few steps towards the dark female, Soloman nosed her back as if to tell her to be carefull. She reached a hand back to stroke his cheek, calming and reassuring him that everything was fine.

"Okay." Was Sidra's only response for the moment. Her eyes fluttered over the three creatures that stand before her. "The name is Sidra Pheonix. I would say it's a pleasure, but I'm afraid that's not the case." Sidra looked the woman straight in the eyes. Her features softened up a little, harshness disappearing under a false expression. She couldn't trust the stranger just yet, but she could give her a chance to prove she wasn't dangerous. Sidra moved closer and crouched once more, lowering the dagger to the ground, still looking the female in the eyes. Testing her. She kept her stance ready to attack if the animals or the woman threatened to come near her."What is that you're doing in this land? You appear to be a traveler like me. So, what brings you here?" A question that some may be hesitant to answer, but she was a bold personality.

Aika hided her disgust and arrogance behind a clean and unexpressive mask, she could continue lying and pretending to be kind until she was safe and away from the intruder.
With a soft sight she looked at the fresh fish pile and then at the charcoal and gold wolf. Would you like some? There is enough for both of us.

The silver snake wrapped around her owner´s neck in a protective way. The dark hybrid was glad to know that after such a long time, her companions were as loyal as the first day and really cared about her, that was the reason why the dark female would protect them no matter what.

Caressing the snake around her neck, Aika walked toward the food pile and stopped turning toward the fish pile waiting for Phoenix to join her.
Belias made a quick circle around the camp and stopped by the trading wagon looking at the strangers, he would remain alert until he was sure his owner and himself were completely safe.
