Adelaida was in a foul mood. Alexey had abandoned her, and there was no other way to look at it really. She had hoped her sister would stay with her, and maybe Umbra, and eventually they could find other wolves like themselves. Normal wolves. All those plans came tumbling down however when she had found Alexey living in lands claimed by the freaks. Her sister was living among shifters, and wasn’t that just as bad as being one? Adelaida wasn’t sure, but the knowledge of where her sister now resided made her sick to her stomach. A few times in the past days she had trekked up to the pack lands, sometimes with Pickles, sometimes not, btu she hadn’t spoken to her sister again. She always left before anyone could notice she had come at all. She wasn’t sure what to say to her anymore.

The masked female with her chocolate colored fur boots (connected to her skin of course, Adelaida would never be caught wearing human clothing) was just returning from another of these fruitless adventures. The wound on her shoulder was healing quite nicely, but she didn’t want to think of it. Didn’t want to think of the coyote that had given it to her, or the way her sister had scolded her, despite the more pressing issue of her sister’s new residence. Instead, Adelaida kept her eyes to the sky. Thinking only of whether it would rain or not. The sky was quite overcast, and it had been all day. But rain didn’t fall, and Adelaida was thankful.

She had to pass by the lands where she had fought with the coyote, find Pickles on the Shattered Coast and then return to the Dampwoods where she had been staying. Why the little rodent had wanted to visit that beach, she didn’t know, but she had relented and now the quickest way back to her sister’s little friend was right pass Esper Hollow. Yet she didn’t think she would see the female again, and if she did, well, the ground she was walking on was neutral. Besides, with how rotten she felt, she wouldn’t mind round two.
