Gone Fishing

OOC here!

Adelle moved down briskly in her secui form. The bumbling movement she'd had when younger was almost completely gone from her now. The movement was strong and proud, confident in who she was. Her training went well. Often she landed blows in her sparring, movement picking up speed. She still didn't win against the older warriors, but they had years of experience while she had mere months. The world was right with her though, she simply needed a battle to earn her place as a warrior.

Her tail wagged happily behind her as she moved. The land was hers, every nook explored and investigated as she went about. The hot springs, the town, the fort, the waterfall. Every single one had been thoroughly investigated by the pup. Reaching the coast Adelle moved along the beach, letting the waves lick at her. Finding a stream that ran into it Adelle lowered her head. Sniffing the ground she explored along it, heading up.

Neela leaned back against the mossy ground, stretching out happily and letting the sun beat down upon her face and chest, a low hum not unlike a cats purr emanating from her throat. Between her lingering insecurity from the attacks and her own drive to improve her fighting skills Neela had been under a lot of stress lately and had decided to take the day off from training and worrying and pretty much everything, simply trecking out into the middle of Casa’s territory and doing some fishing. Neela had settled down about two miles upstream along the river than ran through the fort. This section of the forest was mostly shaded by tall trees but the patch of ground that Neela had settled upon was directly in a patch of sunlight, letting the collie enjoy the good weather of the day.

With her fishing rod wedged in the rocks to one side, a small bell tied to the line to alert her if something bit, her flask of whiskey set in a patch of shadow to the other and her guitar resting nearby for if she felt like playing Neela was completely at ease and relaxed for once. It was afternoon now and Neela had spent the morning drinking, fishing and playing her guitar, resulting in a happy, if slightly intoxicated, collie and three fish strung up besides her, ready to be cooked and eaten later.

With a happy hum Neela reached for her guitar, sliding herself back against the rocks holding her fishing rod so that she was in a sitting position, and started to play, letting the gentle notes spread out through the forest. Playing the guitar while trying to catch fish was probably a bad idea but Neela didn’t particularly care; she had caught enough fish for her supper and if she needed to fish to provide for the pack as she did on occasion, then she would use her boat and bring in a netfull.

So for now, she simply played her guitar and relaxed.

OOC here!

The large dog perked up as music played through the air. She knew that noise! Eagerly Adelle followed along, large body swaying with excitement. It looked almost like she was dancing, the large bulk hiding the silly sway that she was truly taking on in her excitement. Someone smaller than her would be clearly seen wriggling in excitement, instead of the smaller sway that was visible on her. Tongue hanging out she rounded the corner, discovering a rather playful sight.

Neela was stretched out against the bank, strumming against a guitar. Fish was nearby, and bottles of what Adelle now recognized as alcohol. She didn't much care for the taste, but she had had fun after drinking it. The connection between that and the headache the day after hadn't clicked yet for her. Bounding up Adelle stopped tamely at her feet, managing to not bowl her over like the female would have done when younger. Neela! How are you?
