Quite predictably, at least for anyone who knew her, Galleta had found her way to a river, and what better thing was there to do with a river than to follow it? In a land so full of new, strange things for her, it was a relief to be doing something that she had done for as long as she could remember: following a body of water. It ought to have been more easy than it was, though, because she kept having to leave the river, smelling another wolf and being currently scared stiff that she was going to trespass, a situation which would be only worsened by her being new and a loner, she assumed. So instead she had chosen the route of utmost caution, dodging around the slightest hint of a territory mark and traveling her her head and tail low, quite obviously completely out of her element.

It was in this most submissive, terrified looking stance that she first made out the sound of water rushing even faster, barely having noticed how close she was to a waterfall - it seemed - though she could just barely make it out up ahead, but the fun that a waterfall promised had the wolf in a dead sprint! Occasionally, she would leap from the ground a rather stunning height, one advantage of her tiny lupus form, an expression of sheer delight intended only to strengthen the good mood she was in for her own enjoyment. Finally her timid body posture had turned more into the average display of an excited canine, rushing for the slippery, moss covered rocks that poked out near the waterfall and pausing only to consider the odds of falling off for an incredibly quick second before placing on tentative paw on a rock, eyes squeezed tightly shut as her weight shifted back onto said foot. And to her astonishment she didn't go taking a potentially fatal tumble!

Breathing a sigh of relief the rest of her body soon followed her one brave paw, standing atop the rock with incredibly stiff posture, obviously still not entirely trusting of her foothold. Ever muscle in her tiny body remained tensed as she strained as much as she could with moving her paws a millimeter to decide if it was at all possible to jump over the edge of the shortest of the stretches of waterfall without meeting an untimely death. Her fear clouded depth perception warned against it, but adrenaline whispered that it was worth a try!
