Hadley had stayed in Aniwaya for the day, looking around the pack. He'd never gone far, choosing to stay close to the fire that he recognized. Getting a new ribbon was pretty high on his list of things that he wished to accomplish. The exact ritual Anatole had performed for him was lost in his mind, though he did remember that an eagle ghost had been there. Did Anatole have to be the one to perform the ritual? Could anyone do it?
He would have been fine not looking for someone to take care of his ribbon but for one problem. Yesterday when chatting with Gemma it had broke. Right in half. He'd done his best to put the ribbon back on his wrist, but despite how hard he tried it kept falling off. Convinced that only the ribbon was keeping his life from returning to the nightmare it had been before Hadley had protected it religiously, and was now panicking to have it gone.
