His morning had been a lot more eventful than he would have hoped. In the ideal world the morning would have been quiet and he would have done his rounds, informed his pack mates of his departure and have been off by sun high. However Sophia has shown up unexpectedly and completely surprised him by asking to stay in Casa with the family. It was great news and it pleased the Sole deeply but he wished he could have been around for her first few days. Not to mention the new warrior Thaddeus. It was never Jazper’s ideal to leave the pack lands the first week anyone settled in but he dare not push his luck and hang around knowing that Skye was due any day. Finally after getting the two new wolves settled in he was able to begin his journey.

Vito naturally protested against the cart, but Jazper grumbled back at him and soon enough they were making good time across ethereal eclipse. They passed through the thick forests, the cart bumping along the thin dirt pathways, the cart flattening plan life growing on either side. He pushed Vito to travel briskly, only stopping for a quick rest half way to allow Vito to relax before pressing on. By the time the Artisan boarder grew strong the sun was beginning to stoop lower and it was clear that it would be night soon enough. Knowing that Taliesin acted as the healer and was near the top of the ranks he called to his brother, knowing that Skye would not be able to greet him and trusting that Tal was probably aware of the situation. Standing up and stepping to the ground he took to the black and white stallions side, brushing a large hand against his neck in a gesture of thanks.

OOC stuff here....

He had been working on a sketch for the greenhouse he wanted to have built before winter came. The call came, and he lifted his head, sending his own howl back, letting his brother know he would be there shortly. A smile was on his lips as he mused that with all the family coming through recently, one would think it was he who was expecting, not their leader. It was okay, he didn't mind. In fact, Deuce was down from New dawn for a few days too, which was a joy to the Rhiannon male. "I'll be back shortly mom!" He informed her of his departure as he took off running. Perhaps he'd bring Jaz back to the house to spend time with Deuce as well.

As he arrived, he grinned at his larger brother. He was sure he knew why Jaz was here. Skye's pregnancy. The lithe male slowed, and then stopped short of colliding with his brother. And yet, there was a wicked glint in his eye as he suddenly pounced at the larger male, feeling childishly playful. A playful wrestling match Tal knew there was no way he'd win seemed like a fun way to greet his big brother. His tail wagged swiftly.

The stress of the last months eased as he tried to engage the Cavalieri leader in a playful game. It seemed like since Gemma's attack, there had been nothing but injured members for him to care for. He hadn't even had time to begin clearing wood from the area he wanted to build the green house in. He'd try harder, perhaps he could talk Jazper into sending some help to clear wood.

Both of the large creatures fidgeted impatiently, though Jazper more in excitement as soon as he heard Taliesin’s howl. He hadn’t seen his brother in some time and wondered how little Myrddin was. Vito however was tiered of being attached to the cart and honestly the Knight didn’t blame him one bit. If the sun warrior had been small enough to ride the stallion without hurting him he would have, but as it was Jazper was simply too large and would put too much pressure on the beast so a cart was the answer, particularly when carrying furs and dead prey for a pregnant woman. A flutter of wings signaled the landing of Alena, Jazper’s barn owl. She remained silent along with the two males as the wolf waited for his brother.

Tal finally arrived with a big grin and Jazper began to speak “It’s nice to – “ before being knocked to the ground. A playful growl grew in his chest as he began to wrestle the white man. They hadn’t wrestled since they were pups, Jazper being older than Tal and having pupsat him and the others in his youth, but it came naturally to the Alpha as the tumbled. At last he landed on top of his brothers back, pinning him to the ground with a playful snarl, “Come on now little brother. You think you can beat ol’ Jaz.” He was the leader of warriors after all and took pride in it, though none could ever claim he had healing hands like Tal.

His tail wagged even as he licked both appeasingly and playfully at the underside of his brother's muzzle. The male grinned as Jaz let him up. "Naw, I know better. Not without lots of tricks and traps." He brushed himself off, grinning impishly at the larger male. He'd seen his leader around, and was pretty sure why his brother was here, but he wasn't going to let on he knew. Not yet.

"So what brings my big brother here when he's got his own pack to rule?" He chuckled, then despite wanting to vex the larger male, spoke quickly. "Couldn't be because mom raised him right? Maybe he got someone here in a family way?" The weight of the last months had eased off his shoulders in the impromptu match, and he began absently toying with the idea of having some kind of pack event on occasion to ease pack wide tension. They could start by building the greenhouse. Surely they were collectively skilled enough to do that. Afterall, they'd collectively built a boat and a gypsy caravan.
