Her sons were growing quickly. Terra was letting them out of the den now, a sharp eye on them as they played in the bushes outside. Imagining what it must be like for luperci children to grow up in buildings was a rather strange thought. They were close by, just a short walk away, but the world Ananse and Loki were growing up in was one more similar to the environment Terra had been born into, with just nature around them.

A sharp yip from her sent both pups back to the den as she got up. Terra knew that she had to hunt for the pups and bring in some food. They didn't always stay in the den, so she had found a large log to block the entrance with, just a small filter at the top. Terra didn't doubt that they would find their way around it eventually, but by the time that happened Terra was certain they wouldn't be so vulnerable to the outside world.

Happily Terra trotted forwards, thinking about the food she would bring back. Partway her thoughts turned to Ayita. She had invited Terra into her home, cared for her, and she hadn't even known she was injured until the disastrous pack meeting when Vigilante announced a new leader. Perhaps she should go and visit her. They wouldn't mind if she just took from the storage this once, would they? Terra changed direction, and trotted over to the house. Pushing the door open Terra peered inside. Ayita?

Ayita was getting weaker and she had finally broken down and sent Amaranth off to get Liam. She was not feeling so amazing and she was strating to worry. though some of the wounds were feeling less achy she was beginning to feel as though. Her children and Mate seemed to take turns at her side and well she was kinda tired. She let out a bit of a cough as she cleared her lungs that were starting to burn. She figured she had come down with a cold.

But then she heard a voice that forced her to sit up again. Terra I'm up stairs She called as she started to cough. She wanted to shift and be able to do something a bit more useful. But at least she was able to lay here and relax. Ayita watched the bedroom door watching it. She wondered if terra had finally given birth. She hadn't heard the girl in her home. And she was after all the house mother, she was supposed to be there for the girl but like this she was no good to anyone. She didn't want to admit that she may be dieing. She didn't want her children to fear.

The voice that came out was weaker than Terra remembered. Tilting her head she stared at the top of the stairs, wondering what had transpired since she had last seen Ayita. She'd been rather busy with her pups, her life revolving around them instead of nosily sticking herself into the business of everyone in the pack. Ayita was injured, that much she did know. For how long? And how? Coughing sent a flinch through her body, but she bucked up and clambered up the stairs. She needed to see her friend. At least tell her that her pups had been born, and what Loki and Ananse were like.

Entering the room she smiled brightly, tail wagging behind her. Ayita looked absolutely terrible, but she didn't let that deter her. Ayita! Bounding forwards she licked happily at the female. She smelled wrong. Terra couldn't quite place what it was, but it was the wrong scent for the gentle female. The coyote wanted to fight, her instincts screaming at her that there was something dangerous there. She couldn't see what it was though, so pushed such thoughts away. My pups were born. Both boys.
