Yeah, so, um, this is gonna be mature since we discussed such things. Confused Set for the 4th of October? I think that's enough time for Edgar to get to the Halifax, right? :>

It was a dark night. A cold one, too, but the darkness was complete. With the light of a small match the she-wolf had managed to reach the top floor of the small apartment building, and had tied her horse up to a steel beam on the bottom one. She didn't fret much over his safety—no plunderer could steal him in this black night, and even if they tried, she would certainly hear them. They would either stumble over something from blindness or bump into something, both if which caused noise.

Vlad took the little flame from her match and transferred it to a small candle on the nightstand in the room. She waved said match quickly to dissipate the fire on the match head and blinked at the larger, whickering flame on the candle. It casted jumping shadows on the wall behind it, as well as light onto her dark person. Clearly it was dark enough where she could get a decent sleep; she had been missing her rest for a while now. Ever since she had abruptly left her romantic interest on the shoreline of St. John's, her thoughts had been keeping her up at night. She would constantly fight with herself over whether or not she truly did have feelings of love towards him, and guilt often plagued her mind, as she knew very well Edgar did hold these emotions for her.

Vladislava seated herself on the side of the bed, her eyes glued to the candle near her. She watched it with a glazed-over look in her green orbs for a long while until she subconsciously stood up again and slipped off her belt littered with knives and placed it on the nightstand. A feeling of tiredness had washed over her and she lay on the bed, slowly pulling the covers over herself. She shifted to her side and stared at the candle, watching it with that same distant look in her eyes. The door to the room was wide open so a draft of cool air steadily blew in, keeping her at a moderately lukewarm temperature. Vaguely she heard Dmitrii snort from floors below, but didn't want to trouble herself by going and checking up on him. The two had eaten earlier in the evening, so she knew he wasn't hungry nor thirsty. He was just fine. There was nothing to fret about.

Even if she was sleepy, she didn't dare let her eyes close. Instead she stared absentmindedly at the flame, her thoughts slowly fading out as time passed by, much faster than it seemed as her eyes didn't waver from their focus.

Edgar was longing for attention right now, he'd been stuck around Anathema because of his horse. Huddie seemed as if she hadn't even gave birth just a day ago, she was all prancy and happy. But Edgar wasn't. There was that one thing that he hated, and loved, so much to think about at the same time. It was her. The Russian who had just walked away from him that day and took his heart with her. Vladislava. In his journal, there were drawings and paintings of her. He'd look at them, tears rolling down his cheeks, and think about what it would be like if he didn't feel so hurt. While he was up in New Dawn with Adrian, Adelle, and Keldava, a pack member there asked about the paintings and proclaimed that they were "the most stunning" that he'd ever seen. Edgar smiled weakly as he felt the tail of his new kitten tickle his chin. Tiramisu was one of the things that kept him from having a breakdown the whole trip. Her big hazel eyes burned right into his soul as they both sat there on the cold street-side. The dog got up when the small kitten made her way toward the building across the empty street. Huddie followed after her rider with the goose sitting upon her back; sleeping with her head tucked under her wing. As they got closer, he saw a big, strong horse standing there. It looked a whole lot like hers. Curiously, Edgar and the little tabby went into the building - the feline leading the way. Once they reached the top floor, the cat's speed doubled; darting into a room with an open door and a lit candle. The kitten clambered up onto the bed and sat in front of the wolf sleeping there, releasing a soft mew. There were words that she was beginning to understand, but she was still working on pronouncing them. She would become her master's voice, and ears. The Brittany then gently pushed the door open, wanting to leave the building with his new pet. There was something that was keeping him from doing that, and that something was the wolf lying there, the one who kept his heart on a leash.
