This is for all you who want to kill Andrezej. Big Grin
Most of this will be written from his perspective, since he's the main villain.

It had been about a week. Maybe less; probably more. His grasp of time had long since flown out the window, and while he knew he should probably have left 'Souls immediately, he had made a promise to her. His lips cracked open into a wickedly sadistic grin at the thought; he would not play nice. He had already taken her innocence and her way of life and thrown it into turmoil, and he knew she would take a while to get back up from the blow. While she was still weak; that's when he had to do it. When she was too shocked to call for assistance from the clan. Andrezej could probably take one coyote in a fight, but definitely not if he was in his Optime form, and it still took him a considerable amount of time to shift.

The Lykoi licked his lips in anticipation and broke from the forest's cover. From there, Inferni members at the borders would spot him, but not everyone had to know who he was. His mohawk stood tall atop his head, and his piercings and tattoo marked him, but he could easily have been any passing traveller. He might as well have been an assassin; that would have been a better idea. To disguise himself completely with herbs and plants and cloaks, and sneak back into Inferni, just to assassinate Gabriel. It was too late for that now.

She, predictably, was sitting in the sand fairly close to the ocean. The appeal of it was impossible for him to detect; Old Inferni's sands had been nice, but these were muddy and dark. An omen, he supposed. Clever. But it was not the sand that captivated his attention and made his hand move quickly to the knife in his pocket; it was the girl. She might have looked like any dog to anyone else, but Andre knew her, and knew her better than anybody had ever known her. He grinned again, stepping forward slowly, deliberately, as if to make her fear and her pain more flavourful to his nose.

And it did. As she spotted him, she turned with a very small smile that disappeared instantly when she recognised him. Her eyes, a beautiful bleeding crimson that she had stolen from her mother (rest she in bloody, hacked up pieces, hopefully), widened with fear, anxiety, and hopelessness, and his smile only widened, his teeth gleaming. Oh, yes, Andre was in it for the pain, and of course he could cause Gabriel no more pain than to slaughter both of his children. He had only picked Talitha first because Ezekiel was nowhere to be found.

Boo, he cackled, holding the knife out so she could see it. I kept my word, didn't I, baby? And she skittered back across the sand, thinking she could get away from him, one of her feet clumsily smashing through the castle she'd been building before she was interrupted. His vivid eyes fixed on the shattered castle, and he let his tongue flow across his lips again, laughing madly. Fitting. Good job, baby. Time to join it.

indent The Voice had spoken to him once more. It had promised a great undoing, and that the demon he sought would deliver his being without hesitation. God had promised that his daughter need not suffer anymore. That was why he had followed her for so long, like a well-trained dog. He doubted she realized he was there, either; Talitha was so lost in her own world that she was oblivious to much. Low, sprung, the Aquila broke cover and rushed in front of his daughter.
indent It was terrible, what the rage had done to him. Head low, teeth bared, hair all along his spine up and bristled. His face, perhaps, was more terrible then all of these—both of his eyes were burning, Kaena’s eyes, and his face was locked in a snarl that could have been a grin. Gabriel was here for one purpose only, and that purpose was clear. Tail up, Gabriel took one stiff-legged step forward and kept growling deep in his throat. He didn’t need to speak to Andre; that boy knew what was coming.

Faolin Mogotsi

I'll assume that Faolin had just recently got there, and is now looking for her daughter after her joining?

It did not take long to pick up Talitha's scent it seemed. After hearing that her daughter had specifically asked for her and getting everything she needed to know out of Corona and Gabriel she set off immediately in search for her daughter. Gabriel seemed to have the same idea too, because she easily picked up his scent amongst the mix of others. But, there was something else out there, something else that screamed inside her head thrashing around wildly, and before she knew it, she was running again. He was back, oh, and she was back with a vengeance. There was no way he was escaping this time.

Faolin lifted her muzzle and followed Gabriel's scent for the most part before breaking off in the opposite direction as they neared the beach. Her tail lashed back and forth behind her and her steps were soundless as her muddy paws beat against the earth below her. Everything passed by in a blur, and she only slowed when she saw the three. Gabriel in between Talitha and Andrezej. Faolin's lips raised in a mock snarl, and she bolted out from the loose covering of trees that had hid her from view. She picked up her pace yet again and let out a bark once she reached around the other side, standing opposite to Gabriel on the other side of their prey. There was no way he was escaping this time. Her feet were too fast, he would not get very far before she caught up to him. Bring him down quick enough for Gabriel to use his own strength to rip the boy apart. It would be all too easy. Sad, really.

"If you knew what was good for you, you wouldn't have returned," she growled under her breath, eying her daughter warily. She wanted to rush up to Talitha's side, it had been so long since she seen her daughters face. She had gotten even bigger since she left, leaving that feather behind as a promise of her return. Crimson eyes stared at her with a calm, loving, motherly look that would tell her pup that everything would be fine before turning her fierce glare back upon the boy before her, awaiting Gabriel's move. It would not take long before others had showed up, and it would be all too good.

_____It was the Mohawk-wearing-coyote that she didn't recognise and the sight of Talitha recoiling in fear that had driven Corona out of a tree she had been observing her from. Gabriel was already on his way out there with Faolin at his heels in literal seconds by the time she had scaled down from the tree and started out to where they had converged with Talitha. The glint of a knife revealed that Andrezej was armed as opposed to where they were not outside of teeth and claws, though she hardly thought a weapon would make a difference.

_____Coming up behind Talitha, Corona bristled with a low growl as she met her younger brother's gaze. Would he even remember her from that one day that they had met? She remembered it, she remembered how easily and carefree he threw around the name that he hardly had no right to. If there was anything she wanted to strip from him aside of his life, it was that name. But it was defence that Corona was taking on here, knowing that the rage within Faolin and Gabriel together was greater than her own; to keep Talitha safe from any lucky shots Andrezej made was the foremost goal in her mind. She had a promise that she intended to keep.

Andre took another step in response to her backward shuffling, following the small trench she was digging in the sand with her feet and her rear. It was too funny; it was inevitable, and still she thought she could keep away from him. He was older, bigger, and faster than her, and she was a broken little thing anything. A plaything that had been abandoned on a half price shelf, brought to life by the tender fingers of love and then shattered by the new dollie wielding a sharp object. Mass Murderer Barbie. Perhaps if he managed to kill anyone in this ordeal, after he'd finished cutting her own throat, he could take the title of serial killer and wander. Maybe he'd go back and find Rachias and Arkham and wipe them out, and then he'd find dear old mum and kill her, too.

His ambitions were high, but only the mad could hope to achieve as much as Andre did. What's the matter, sweetie? You couldn't have got enough of dear uncle Andre last time, could you? Maybe he'd fuck her again. She certainly had been worth the risk, and watching her stumble brokenly back as he roughly led her had been all too pleasing. Another step heralded the arrival, and suddenly he was surrounded. It happened very quickly; Gabriel had darted in front of him moments before Faolin had broke from the trees and Corona had swept over behind the mighty king.

Sure, they were slightly important as blockades, but now that the real target had presented itself, he need not worry about the others. His sole intent was to kill Gabriel, and once the Inferni leader fell, he would rightfully be leader. He would have all of them killed, would begin a new clan under Inferni's name, and he would wage war on every wolf who dared touch the earth in the area. It would be glorious; it was far beyond the golden eyed dog's own thoughts.

Come, Gaby, meet Death. Inferni's mine. He had a knife. They had their Lupus forms. They were quicker than him, but one faulty move could end their lives. The advantage was in their favour only because of numbers. Talitha herself proved to be a hindrance on Inferni's side; someone would need to focus more on her than on the rest of the fight, or he would be able to kill her. He wanted the king, but he would take the princess if he could. His wicked grin showed how his fear was nonexistent; he truly believed they had all sealed their own deaths.

EDIT: HAHA I got my post in at 420. -Coughs and flees.-

Anselm had been doing his rounds when he noticed his cousin slinking around. Curiosity had gotten the better of him and he trotted along after him with mild interest, keeping a safe distance in case it turned out that he was stalking something. Before too long, he caught Faolin's scent, as well--she was back! Was this a hunt? Licking his lips hungrily at the thought, he decided to take on his half-shifted form for the event.
It was not until he saw Talitha cowering and the strange looking man that he picked up the pace. This was still a hunt, in a manner of speaking--although it was a hunt for a monster, not a hunt for sustenance. The fur along his neck bristled; no introductions or explanations were necessary. He could read it on all of them--Corona, Faolin, and Gabriel. This had to be that maniac they were supposed to destroy on sight.
Fully ready to assist, his tail lashed behind him, snakelike, as he circled around the strange man. Anselm didn't know exactly what had happened to Talitha, but he held quite a bit of resentment towards this internal conflict for that reason alone: they'd finally gotten done with their war against outsiders, and now they had to take out one of their own. Keeping an eye on the knife, he came to rest once he was about equidistant from Faol and Gabe in their little barrier of teeth and claws. He was ready.

It was the familiar scent that caused the harsh pounding of the girl's heart in her chest. It was a scent that she knew all to well, one from the past, and one that had struck fear in her heart at one point in time. Rachias has been convinced that Andre had perished in the fire also, or that he had run off to start some other life somewhere else, and she'd thought nothing more of it since then. Now though, it seemed all to real and far to close for her own liking. Pulling herself away from one of the nearby trees, Rachias slunk her way forward, keeping close to whatever cover that she could find, abandoning her task of gathering wood. Just ahead of her, quite a few feet away, the grass slowly faded to sand, and that was where she spotted him.

The chocolaty girl held herself close to a tree, hands and body pressed up against it, peeking around at the sight that played out before her eyes. He was there with Talitha, but before she could discern anything else, there was Gabriel. He came shooting out, it seemed, to interfere with what might have been going on. Rachias would have gone out to see what was happening, to take Talitha away from there because she knew that Andre was no good, but then there they were. Faolin, Corona, Gabriel, and even someone that she didn't know. She knew in that moment, as she gazed across the group of them, that Andre would not come out alive.

Would she stay and watch her brother's death or throw herself into the fray on his behalf? He was her brother, after all, and she had already lost one of them.

Zero, 'parthian' would refer to having one of the two be the distraction--in this case Gabriel--while the other goes in for the big damage. :]

indent There was the recognition. Gabriel’s lips pulled back in a hellish grin, knowing that this was how it was supposed to be. God had a plan, and His plan was that this boy should die today. He would pay for his crimes and he would pay for raising his hand against God’s Sword. His family was here too—Faolin, rushing behind the boy, blocking his path. Corona, with his daughter. Anselm, circling, waiting. The words his half-brother spat meant nothing. Andre was going to perish on these sands and his body would be cast upon their shore as a fell reminder of what happened to those who dare cross His purpose.
indent “Corona, don’t let him past you,” Gabriel was speaking as he began a slow, planned advancement. It didn’t matter what Andre heard now; there were four of them and he was one boy. Knife or not. “Anselm, parthian.” The code was one the two had developed over the past months. They had discussed military tactics in the little spare time they had, and his cousin would understand. Another step. “I’ll make you eat your heart,” he snarled, and then rushed forward. Keeping low, he aimed his teeth at the boy’s legs, planning to blow past him.

Faolin Mogotsi

--

Faolin eyed the distance that was between her and her daughter, calculating how long it would take if the boy decided to spring for her. It seemed he was completely distracted though, taking in a much bigger interest in her mate. The femme did not move an inch, the only thing that moved was her ragged breath and her throat vibrating with a low, fierce growl. It was not even a moment later that the scent of another crossed her Corona, and she was in between Andrezej and Talitha now, okay, so that would give her time to spring on him if he did decide on a whim to change his plans. Another scent, this one was also recognizable, Anselm, even though she only had spoken briefly with the male about his own family and Inferni she would not forget his scent.

Then, something else crossed her path, another scent. This one faint in her memory, not one she had smelled in the last day or so. Her eyes drifted to Gabriel as he yelled to Anselm some word, something that did not make sense. She shook her head and leaped out of the way as Gabriel aimed to snatch Andrezej leg. The queen quickly circled around to her daughter, brushing her tail along her flank comfortingly, standing beside the taller golden woman that stood between the fight and her daughter. That scent tickled her nose again and finally realized who it was.

"Rachias?" she whispered under her breath, head turned in the direction the scent was blowing from. Her blood red eyes could not pick out a figure, then she caught a glimpse of the girl's caramel and chocolate colored hair. What was she thinking? She should run! Then another realization hit her, would she be so willing to lose another brother? No matter the problems he had caused, how he had aimed to destroy almost everyone's life. Faolin could not budge but only watched the girl, trying to catch her eyes with her own and lock onto them. Telling her to turn and run, she would have to chase her down later once everything was settled. Right now they had to worry about Andrezej. Faolin dipped her muzzle down next to her daughters ear and licked behind her soothingly. "It's okay, we're here. Everything is fine now." Well, at least she hoped.

_____Her posture hunched over Talitha when Gabriel moved forward, heeding his words with utmost importance. Anselm had turned up and though she didn't focus on him directly, his presence was an added relief to their forces. Corona's eyes didn't waver from her younger brother, but instead looked him over for any specific place that would serve as a weak point. The eyes, the nose, anything that would have been sensitive enough to leave him recoiling for a second was good enough for her if he got close enough, although she was much more interested in disarming him as soon as possible.

_____Faolin turned up aside Talitha, giving Corona the ultimate chance to step ahead of two of them. It wouldn't just be Corona that he would have to get past, though she assessed that he was more interested in Gabriel than anything else. Being the only other one who was shifted and despite the fact that Andrezej had height over her, she felt confident enough to deal with him and strike at any moment where it deemed fit. He wouldn't get the chance to kill her brother while she was standing there.

He remember almost every coyote that was gathered there, the only one escaping his recognition being Anselm. He had never met the other de le Poer, and luckily for him, probably never would get the chance. All these ones would be put to death for opposing him the minute he overthrew Gabriel. He turned his head a moment to sneer back at Anselm at his side, silently questioning his problem with his eyes. Perhaps those vivid pinpricks that lacked light and overtook their own pupils was threatening, but the large grey hybrid didn't give a damn about anyone but himself. Whether he could intimidate one of them or all of them or even none of them, he didn't care. His nose didn't furiously pick up the scents; there was no part of any of this he was interested in more than he wanted to kill the king.

What heart? he retorted the moment Gabriel's charge came. Obviously that buddy on the side was gonna be of some important, having been given an unrecognizable command by his half brother, but what significance that was, he couldn't guess. He lifted the blade, switching his grip to stab it right down into Gabe's skull the minute he got too close. He really didn't think his half brother was so stupid as to make himself that vulnerable, and it was for this reason he turned his body to face Anselm's and kept his eyes on Gabe. He would have more peripheral vision and more time to react if the plan was to disarm him and then rip him apart.

Corona, he could recall from the meeting on the bridge in the old world. Tamerlane had been there, too, at the time. She and Faolin weren't even people he should consider. His main goal was to wipe out the two males, hopefully ripping down his half brother before Anselm became a problem. A vicious hacking snarl crept out his throat as he laughed and readied his blade, counting the steps, the wolf lengths, that Gabriel made. If the hybrid grabbed his leg, he wouldn't be able to move away fast enough to avoid the knife; that would be Andre's cue.

He caught Andre glaring at him and put on a sickeningly sweet smile; yeah, hi, I see you, too, it seemed to say. Just because this business here wasn't personal didn't mean he'd be any less of a jackass--Anselm wasn't the sort that needed to be told twice, and he'd been warned about this kid several times over. Gabriel's command snapped him back to attention, although little recognition was given other than a light flick of his ears.
It was certainly very strange how adrenaline could dilate time, making everything run together and so slowly all at once. It was fortunate in a way, for timing would be everything. Andre's posture revealed that he was paying close attention to both Inferni males, and in some ways this seemed like an all or nothing shot. If Anselm moved too soon, Andre might come after him and Gabriel might not react quickly enough to cover him. It took a leap of faith, but he would go with the original plan.
He danced around Andre, shuffling closer and sometimes backing away. He moved quickly from side to side, never staying in one place long enough for Andre to get used to the idea of him being "exactly there." His eyes never left the hand with the knife. The second that Andre started to swing it down toward Gabriel, he would leap. He wouldn't do it any sooner, and he wouldn't wait too long. He'd leap forward and sink his teeth into that hand or the boy's wrist, hopefully causing him to drop it or maybe even to damage his hand entirely.

There was a war all her own waging itself in her head as she stood watching. Talitha had revealed the horrible things that Andre had done, at least to the extent that it was enough for Rachias to figure out on her own what exactly had happened. Even Rachias would admit that Andre needed to be punished for his actions, to be taught that he couldn't simply to whatever he wished to and get away with it. Was death what that punishment should be though? He had tried to kill her before, threatened to do so, and she had no doubts that he had done the same with Arkham. It wasn't something that she had taken lightly either, not then and not now, and now knowing what he had done to Talitha, it only confirmed that he really would try and kill them all one day.

A monster who wanted nothing more to ruin his family, no matter what it took, and would enact deeds no matter the consequence. That monster was still her brother though, the same brother that she would often curl up against on cold nights inside the den when they were so very young, back when their mother was still around. In some ways, she couldn't help but to blame her for the way Andre had turned out. If only she had stayed. There were words exchanged yet again, sudden movements, and Rachias tried to keep up with the action in front of her, following quickly along. Still conflicted, the girl remained in her spot behind the tree, just watching.

indent Each moment that passed was a moment in which Gabriel began to play out this game in his mind. He believed in strategy as much as real-time choices, but in this case, there was really nothing that could be done except the latter. Anselm was his wild-card, and in some ways, so were Corona and Faolin—as long as one of them stayed with Talitha, the other would be free to strike.
indent The knife twinkled and flashed in the light, reminding him of its presence. Knowing that speed was everything, that timing was everything, Gabriel calculated his steps. The moment he got within striking distance, he slammed his feet into the ground and hurled himself backwards, keeping his chin low and eyes on his half-brother, avoiding the knife blow that was coming and setting Anselm up for his strike.

Faolin Mogotsi

--

Faolin swallowed the ball that was forming in her throat and cutting off her air way. Horrified of the shiny object that Andrezej wielded in his hand. Her tail last back and forth, eyes wide with anticipation. Her and Corona were the only things in between Talitha and him it seemed. Gabriel went for the strike and Faolin almost yelped as the knife slashed down and out of reach of his skin. Her legs nearly buckled but she was able to stand straight and watch, horrified. That knife was the only thing that would give him any kind of advantage. Letting out a loud, vicious snarl she stalked a few steps away from her daughter, legs bunching up beneath her. She was ready to leap, teeth bared if Anselm were to miss she was going right for it. His fucking wrist would be detached from his body if it was all she could manage. Other than that she wanted his throat if she could.

_____She jerked with restraint at the fluid motions of the action in front of her, fighting back the desire to throw herself into the fray. She saw the motion in Andrezej's body as he went to take a swing at Gabriel with the blade and she watched the way her doggish sibling pulled himself out of the way in what seemed to be a feint—she understood the word that Gabriel had used now—just as Anselm sprung into motion. This was the grace of battle, this was the art of fighting that she had rarely seen.

_____But it was Faolin jerking at her side that drew Corona's gaze away from the fighting and her hand shot out instinctively to stop her even though she was already stopped. As much as they both wanted to get into that mess, she thought better if they stayed out for the moment. If any time would be right to strike, it would be when his back was firmly turned towards them, and that was the point she tried to make with her gaze. “He'll turn away from us soon enough, that'll be the moment,” she said at a borderline whisper to her.

_____Corona though if they could grab him in such a way that it sent him off-balance, it would be over in a matter of mere seconds. To hold him down, grab his arm, and seize his throat and it would be all over in the same way that they took down prey. But the real question was whether or not it was all that simple, but she did not believe Andrezej to be the fighter that he looked at all.

He held that blade up firmly, feeling more than seeing the right moment to strike. Gabriel didn't, in fact, grab his leg; the doggish hybrid hit the sand at the same instance Andrezej struck downward, but by the time the knife hit where his skull should have been, the man had already moved again. From the corner of his eye he caught the motion of Anselm as he raised the knife again, but he wasn't fast enough to turn full on to the soaring wolf-like hybrid. Things slowed down momentarily as he set his feet and turned his hand so the blade was pointed straight at Anselm; the hybrid in flight would probably impale himself on it. A triumphant grin cracked across the man's lips, but at the same time there was a twist, and Anselm went right by the exposed blade.

Oh, he wasn't smiling anymore. Sharp teeth grabbed his wrist and yanked down as gravity responded and, with his arm so rigid and his hand so tensely set, it was all he needed; there was a swift snapping nose, a yowl of pain and madness as he turned with glee upon the hybrid attached to his arm and forgot about the rest of anything, and aimed to punch him square in between the eyes with his free hand. Anselm had suddenly become a much larger threat, and without his weapon hand, he was at a complete disadvantage.

Something crazy said he would win this fight and do honour to Inferni. Hybrid had once said he would be a good soldier; well, he was a pretty good psycho. His bright yellow eyes burned with a fervid desire to kill, and the smell of his own blood from where bone had cut neatly through the back of his wrist from the rather severe break was even worse. He was crazed by it, and lust burned strong in his veins for more.

Aaaah, I hope I manage to form a coherent post. Lemme know anyone if any powerplay I do needs to be changed!

He was given no time to admire Gabriel's reflexes and agility--that could come later. Action was needed now! Anselm had hit his target, and he would be sure to let Andre know just how much he enjoyed his prize. His jaws had clamped down hard the moment he felt the coyote's wrist in the back of his mouth, and he made it perfectly clear that he had no intention of letting go of his prize. Teeth and jaws that could crack through the femur of a moose dug in as far and as hard as physics would allow them. He let his weight drop like it was nothing, legs splayed apart for balance. Immediately he began shaking as if he were breaking a rabbit's neck, hoping to do ensure the hand's uselessness, or maybe to dislocate a shoulder.
His victory would come at a cost. It happened suddenly, but he saw it in slow motion--one fist descending down, and he could guess where. He resolved not to let go. He still hadn't figured out if anybody had retrieved the knife yet. Thrashing wildly with an extra bit of ferocity, he found his head spinning as Andre nailed him square on his head. The shaking stopped, a soft yelp rose and died shortly within his throat, but it wasn't as if he hadn't been hit in the head before. He braced himself and tried to pull Andre in the direction furthest from the knife. The second someone confirmed that the knife had been retrieved, he had every intention of letting go and retreating, if only for a short while to regain his senses.

It seemed like she had been standing there for hours watching, when in reality it had only been a few seconds. Gabriel moved, charged her brother, but it didn't seem the intent was really to try and take him down. That was when the other coyote, the one that she didn't know, moved in. He had hold of Andre in and instant and the sight made the chocolate and cream girl turned away, suddenly shaking on her own legs, grabbing hold of the tree harder to keep her own body steady. How long would he last like this? They had him now and there was no doubt in her mind that they would let him go, unless he got the upper hand somehow, which Rachias doubted very much. The young girl clenched her eyes shut tight, ears suddenly dropping back, unwilling and unable to turn to look again. How could she let them do that to her own brother?

_____And that was the moment she had been waiting for. Gabriel cleanly dove out of the path of Andrezej's arm and Anselm grabbed it—clearly distracting him—and she moved in without a second thought or warning. The knife was in the sand she was the only one there with another set of hands that could have been useful. His first punch connected with Anselm and the sound of bone against bone echoed dully between the circle of bodies; she winced briefly at the sound and she ducked in low to grab the blade with the few seconds that she had to spare.

_____Picking up the knife with her right hand, she pivoted just as easily with one foot to turn and face Andrezej, rising up from her hunched stance to grab his arm as he pulled back for another punch with a snarl in throat. From there was merely a fluid action on her part of pure calculation, she pulled him in the opposite direction of her cousin and drove the blade down towards his shoulder, lodging it firmly between both bone and muscle. At that point, between the two relatives, Andrezej may as well have been crucified with two useless arms, clearly outmatched and soon to meet his maker.
