She looked at the fire and sighed. The days were going by faster now that her leg was healed, now that she was able to get out and around. The time she’d spent healing had really taken a toll on her physically, though; she’d barely been able to get up after the long term spent inside of her den. Naniko was thankful that there had been someone there to help, her, though; her friend Lucifer had continually brought her food from Jaded Shadows.
She didn’t like taking food from the other packs, but she really hadn’t had any other option. Conri was the only one that she had known in the pack, and when he’d disappeared she’d been alone. For a while her brother Davinci had stayed with her, but he’d left too, over time.
The large snow colored wolf exited her den, sitting outside the entrance. It was twilight, and the only light that she could see was from the stars above. No moon, tonight, just Naniko, the sky, and the Big Dipper.
