Private, Arachnea's Revenge

His random walks were therapy for his maimed soul. He had started the day with patrolling the borders, something he did several times every day, but when he had reached the far western borders, he had continued close to the sea shore and drifted in the direction of Inferni. Of course he knew better to show his face there so soon after he had stalked slightly too close to their borders. Gabriel and his small minions were probably aware of his little visit, but Haku knew he had broken no rules, because he had never trespassed, just.. lurked. He broke off from the shore and headed into a more wooded area. His ears flickered lazily when light rain started to fall from the clouded sky. He shuddered slightly, but his thick and arctic fur would not let him down.

His new scars given by his own Rosea were slowly healing. The shoulder had two thick lines covered by scabs, and the new dark red line under his left eye did not look that bad anymore. He did not mind the increasing scars on his body, it only spoke of experience, and he had lots of it. He still had his good looks, and if anything, he thought that the scars made him slightly more macho, and he liked being popular with the ladies. He was still in his Halfling form, and knew that it would become more of a habit to use it the longer he stayed in the form. Wolf form gave him stamina, Werewolf gave him hands and strength, but hybrid gave him speed and power, and he liked it more and more the longer he stayed in the form.

The tiny Lykoi girl had been looking for a new den, the sea gulls were growing to be too much for her poor little ears and her wants to sleep in in the morning. She hadn't been having much luck in finding a new place until now. She'd stumbled over the old hole in the ground on accident but it looked perfect to her. Lilac eyes light up as she sniffed around the edges of the sandy dirt, the hole smelled strange but she didn't care, she would dig it all out nice and neat and make the place perfect.. and what was better, it was far from the cries of the evil birds.

The small fry wiggled her small frame into the hole and had started to crawl down deep into the closure but she learned quickly that her newly selected home already belonged to another. Gnashing teeth and fangs snapped at her nose as she was suddenly filled with fear. She had no clue what it was before her but as quick as possible she backpeddled out of the occupied den, a wailing sound let loose from her throat as she turned about at the entrance and ran for her life.

She thought she was safe after a few hundred feet but as soon as she stopped she heard the crash of the large monster thundering after her. Wailing once more the little girl tried her hardest to keep up infront of the creature but she was beginning to grow lost and the sound of crashing and thrashing were the only things she could hear. Somehow she'd got herself turned around and found herself stuck at the bottom of a large rocky outcrop. Turning on her weary pads she was greeted with the horrible black and white creature that she'd disturbed and she didn't seem to be very happy at all. The tiny girl cried out as the badger came lashing out at her. She ducked down and wished she wasn't so alone, she was going to be in sooo much trouble!

He had started to wonder if he was to turn back and head home when he heard the wailing scream from within the woods. He turned his face towards the sound and flickered his ears forwards in an attempt to recognize the source. Game more often than not screamed the last seconds of their lives when a predator revealed itself. It was a child and apparently one in distress. It was not one of Dahlia's, so he was quite indifferent to the child's emergency, because it simply wasn't his table. Haku was horrible like this, such an emotionless bastard that served nothing but dahlia and himself. It happened occasionally that he acted anyway, and luckily for whoever the little snot was, today was a good day for the male. He started to jog in the direction of the child's siren, and the child had chosen a smart path to take, escaping from whatever was chasing her (he assumed it was something like that). This could be fun, it meant that he could shed blood to save an innocent life. Oh boy, oh boy!

The screaming came closer, and not too far away, a small figure came into sight as she obviously ran for her life. He slightly froze when he saw what kind of child it was. Even from distance, he could recognize the traits of a hybrid, a coyote. The child was too far away for him to detect any evidential scent. It made him stop in his tracks though, and he was not sure if he could be bothered to save some sick spawn that would grow into a big ugly Inferni soldier. Haku was a big purebred wolf, and she was bound to see him. He was curious to see if she would change her direction. What was most dangerous, Haku or whatever was behind her? The male tilted his head and watched the scene, wondering if he would get dragged into all of this if the child decided that his big body and sharp claws meant shelter and protection.

When she had duck low the badger's claws had swept right over her back, missing her by mere hairs. She whined but quickly scuttered out from her reach as she made a blind dash across the grounds again. She'd lifted her head and caught the blurry figure before her, quite larger than she was and as far as she could tell another canine she didn't stop to think if the stranger could be dangerous, all she knew was that she was smaller than the badger and she didn't want to be shredded and munched on for dinner just for thinking she'd found an empty hole that turned out to have a giant no vacancy sign overhead and she illiterate!

With a harsh bark the child dashed for the chocolate hued male, her small little frail legs dragging herself under his chest and hiding right underneith his belly as she could hear the sounds of the beast snarling and raging towards them. She whined from under the cover of the giant protector as she quivered and shook, her voice breathless as she whimpered. "it's gonna eats meee.."

The child didn't seem to have to ponder before it made its decision and ran to the large wolf. The adult did not move a muscle as the child slipped in-between his front limbs and sought sanctuary under him. The scent of Inferni hit him in the face and burned his nostrils. Haku's peace with Inferni was over, and he would have been willing to rip her to pieces himself to prove that point. However, he did not. His shackles rose, and he stood up tall as he watched the incoming badger. The badger seemed to slow down slightly in confusion, but it was far too close and it was way too late for it to turn around and retreat. It had probably been too focused on the small, delicious hybrid to notice Haku before they almost stared each other in the face. Haku's lips withdrew to reveal what would be the last this badger would ever see.

The man dived down on the lesser predator. The badger's own jaws were open and ready to defend, but it was no use. Haku's jaws were much larger than the smaller animal, and his jaws got hold of the animal's head and crushed it when the muscles tightened with lethal strength. The animal continued to twitch a little before the body realized that it was dead. He threw the creature down on the ground. Then, he stretched his neck down to gaze at the small thing under his belly. He flashed a dangerous smile, fangs painted pink with something that possibly was a piece or two of the badger's brain. "Now, what have we here.. Some dessert?"

Zana sat under cover of the large male panting as the crazy critter came hauling towards her. She cringed and closed her lilac eyes as the beast's snapping fangs and large claws came closer and closer. Suddenly it seemed that everything was growing quiet as the thrashing deminished and the only sound she was graced with was the thud then silence. The small girl opened her eyes slowly and came to realize that she was still alive and the brute was dead outside her makeshift shelter's feet.

She was about to take a step forward and creep out to investigate the dead body before her when suddenly a dark smile and a frosty voice. Her eyes grew wide as she whimpered and backed up against his hindlegs as she whispered. "I'm not dessert! I'm Zana!" Her sharp little fangs bared at the male almost comically as she snapped. The girl might not look like her mother but she did have the bitch's temper and stubborn nature when pushed and she didn't like to be teased, boy this large fellow better not keep up with his current remarks of the micro terror would show him a thing or two..

The sweet taste of death did a victory dance in his mouth, and he embraced the soothing relief whenever the pressure inside him was released into energy. His focus was on the small Inferni girl now, watching her as her eyes widened to that of a cartoon figure while she backed and touched his back legs. The girl’s name was Zana. The name seemed to not reach his ears because of his obvious indifference to her words, but the name was saved in his brain. If he had known that this was his youngest cousin, he would have chosen to act differently, but he was unaware of that fact. She bared her tiny, white fangs at him, but she was too small to be of any threat whatsoever. This would not be a fight, this would only be fun. She was cute; too bad she belonged to the wrong group of canines. After Retribution, Haku had very few reasons to avoid conflicts with coyotes. In fact, he welcomed it. Retribution, which real name was Onus, had not been sent by Gabriel to do the dirty work of wiping Haku away from the face of earth, but Haku let his assumptions administrate what he could and could do and what not. Zana had come to make this day a bit more entertaining, and so she would be dessert regardless if she actually agreed to it or not. Haku’s jaws parted to fully reveal his two lines of razor sharps fangs. ”Desserts should not talk.” His voice was nothing but a rumble.

The adult male's right hind leg kicked lazily out after the child to get her away from her false sanctuary. He was uncertain of what he really wanted to do with the girl, but he could at least have some fun with her before things possibly became nasty.

Zana didn't know what the male's problem was but she was not his dessert! She bared her tiny fangs at the male and dodged his kicking hind leg, moving closer to the left one as she realized that for once her small size actually gained her something. She could sit right under the stranger and make things hard for him. She had never been a large child and the fact that she really hadn't grown much made it easy for her to keep away from his flailing limbs as she growled once more, not afraid of the sharp teeth of the big bad wolf. "If you don't watch it the monster will get you!" she said seriously.

She knew that the monster had come after her when she'd been misbehaving, she didn't doubt that her own monster wouldn't come after him, and for once she wouldn't mind seeing the monster again. Too bad the kid didn't know her monster was nothing more than a blind cripple with a bitter heart now, so much for saving the bastard child. She planted herself on her butt and spat at the male. "Why you save me if you so mean!" she pouted, her little lip beginning to jut out as her lilac orbs did that magical quivering thing that all puppies seemed to come equipt with.

The Lilium of Dahlia could easily have kicked after her with his left hind leg when the child sought closer to it to avoid his right leg, but he did not. Snotty little child, she was already taking in the coyote’s usual arrogance. When she bared her tiny teeth at him, he flashed his own, larger butcher knives back, still pink with badger ingredients. His traitorous yet beautiful blue gaze stayed on the child, taking in the fascinating violet of her eyes. So there was a monster that would get him if he was mean to this child? Oh, if she just could understand. Haku had already been taken by his own monster. It was not the same kind that was present in children’s nightmares. No, the Soul man was not that lucky, sadly. The monster was inside him, never left him alone. It could be quiet within, but there was always this little flame lit, the demon’s presence. Once he had been free and scared of those imaginary monsters too, but that was just until the real one arrived and imprisoned the child to create a Haku that would be easier to guide down the wrong paths in his life. Haku’s face did not change, because the child’s words were without any importance. Secondly, he had not saved her. The badger had annoyed the brute, and he could use the nice fur. If the hybrid child had not slipped under his large frame and caused the badger to come in Haku’s direction, then she would still have been in deep trouble, maybe even death for all he knew.

Her next move would have been adorable if he had been more open to such things. He recognized the classic puppy stare, but her face did not trigger any hidden buttons in the Dahlia wolf. Not even his own children seemed to be able to turn his twisted personality around. The best he could do was to hide behind the usual mask and pretend he loved them. Haku did not know through love, only the attraction of things he needed as a male. He felt sort of protective of his biological children (the small ones) and his pack, but it did not stretch beyond that. He did not bother to reply to her silly question. He had not saved her. She was nothing but Inferni scum. Now, who were the parents? Maybe he could return their daughter to them; although it would probably not be in a shape they wished for if Haku followed his wish. ”Who are you and what are the names of your parents, hybrid-girl?” His voice was not kind, but it was not exactly threatening either. It was a sincere question, because he was interested in knowing whose daughter he would rip apart. Rip her apart was something he would have liked to do, but it might not be a clever move. Though, after Mr. Retribution, he could hardly care less about the Inferni truce. He lifted his face to the badger and started tearing at a leg with his oversized jaws. Predators were not very tasty, but Haku would feast on the thing nevertheless.

The coyote hybrid stood firm in the glare of the male and his snarling fangs. Her own small ones were bared as she continued to move in the crab style from one side of his body to the other. When the voice finally asked her just who she was and where her parents were the girl sat down on her haunches and pouted slighted. This creature was a bit stupid, acting like he was gonna hurt her then asking questions. Before she could stop herself she sputtered out. "You's pos' to ask questions first mister.." Did she care that she was talking to the high and mighty sub-leader of a wolf pack with the twisted warped personality. No, infact she probably would have been a bit more annoying if she wasn't under the caution that she could be next on the menu, as she watched him tearing into the badger.

Her lavender orbs were not amused as she finally gave way and let her name be know. "I'm Zana Lykoi.." She shot him a nasty look as she backed out from under his hindlegs and moved to the opposite side of the badger that was keeping him busy. Her small nose in the air as she settled down her little puff of bangs were tossed as she went on. "My.. mon..mother lives in Phoenix Valley." She didn't want to tell him that she didn't know her father, yet. She would find him sooner or later, or atleast realize she'd already met the crazed ex-member of the clan, but for now she was a proud and stubborn little thing that didn't want to show the brute her weaknesses. So the unknown was left off the attractive knowledge he would get for now.

He let a warning growl rise when the girl spat out silly words, telling him how he should ask questions first and not after. Silly little child. Her age did not make her immune to anything. Haku had already proved that he had no issues with slaughtering little children. He could easily do it again, especially if it was some Inferni dirt. She was small, and puppies sometimes got lost and died, etc etc. They did never have to find the body. He was certain he would have no issues whatsoever to gobble the little shit down. He had never actually tried out cannibalism as of yet, which was quite odd, considering this was Haku Soul. Blood both calmed and excited his senses. The taste of the predator was like that of a proper game, but it was more than good enough for the sub-leader. Bones cracked as his powerful jaws tightened with deadly force.

A disgusting Lykoi child. That alone was enough to have her head removed rather violently. His ears slightly perked when she announced that her mother lived in Phoenix Valley. The man let go of the dead meat and looked down at her again, she was now sitting there merely looking stupid. He waited a few seconds before he realized that she was done. He shook his fur slightly, looking at her with hard eyes. Your mother’s name? Who is she? Why are you in Inferni and not Phoenix Valley?” Her name said it all, in his opinion. He wouldn’t want to have a disgusting Lykoi offspring running around in his pack for sure. Although he originally cared little about the difference between coyotes and wolves, he could not avoid being somewhat affected by the typical stereotyping. Lykois were filth, end of discussion.

He wondered what idiot female had let a coyote fuck her. The child held the surname of the coyote, meaning it could not have been a rape. Interesting.

Her lavender orbs glared at the male angerly as he just growled at her. She didn't like the way that he seemed to think he was better than her just because he was bigger than her(or atleast, this was how everything was believed to the small child). She pinned her ears back and was tempted to sink her tiny teeth into his leg since he was acting like such a horrible brat. He was even worse than Siobhan had been and boy had she been annoying. Instead she sat there and just tried to avoid his failing limbs and gnashing teeth. When they seemed to stop thinking of her as food for a moment she paused too and just stared at the male. She was not amused by this creature.

Inching away a few more feet while the male was gnawing at the dead predator she watched him quietly, waiting to see if there was anymore question or if he was going to just eat the monster that had been chasing her moments ago. If he was gonna eat the thing then she was going to scat as fast as she could.. but yet the horrible man spoke up again, asking her more stupid questions that never had mattered in the past and she didn't believe mattered now either. She just huffed and glared at him as she answered. "They called the monster Iskata" she said as she sat down rather hard. She didn't want to speak about the monster but she didn't want eaten either.

"Would you wanna stay with a monster?" she asked. She had left Phoenix Valley to find her father, but it had also taken her out of the clutches of the beast of her nightmares as well. She really hadn't thought much of the pack since she'd left except for missing DaVinci, the clan was her true home now. It might take the whole of the clan to actually raise her but it was better than having the snarling grumbling beast looming over her shoulder all the time.

He was both bigger and better than her. The child annoyed him, and she did not even have the wits to show him some gratitude for saving her pathetic worthless life. He regretted it, he should just have moved away and watched the badger slaughter her. He would have liked that. In The Dahlian male’s book, such scenes were perfect entertainment. Such a shame he had ruined it all by slaughtering the little predator. He licked his lips, his muzzle a cheery pink from badger blood. If she went far enough with her nonsense, he thought he might would want to make a proper move to devour her world. She answered his question at least, and the secui was slightly surprised to hear his aunt’s name. It did not show on his face though, but he had believed Iskata would have had a bit more brains than this, being a leader of a pack and all. Well, she was not any longer, it was that idiot Maluki that had taken over the command. Or, Jefferson, as the bloke seemed to prefer nowadays since the name his mother had given him obviously was not good enough. None of Haku’s business though.

”To live with one monster is better than living with several.” the male replied coldly. He did not expect her to listen to reason though. Apparently Iskata had done something, but his aunt was better than that Inferni lot altogether. Still, the child was a dirty mix and carried the dirty name of the worst family line in Souls, so she belonged with them. She needed to die. The Lilium let his body fall heavily to the ground without warning, to either smash the girl flat with his weight, or to get her out from her little sanctuary. A child’s meat would taste better than that of an old and sour badger. She would do well to run even faster this time, because this predator was far bigger and more deadly.

Zana moved back and forth under Haku's form as she spoke. The silence that followed made the puppy slightly nervous as she didn't know what it meant. Peeking her head out from under his large form she asked. "You still alive?" and yet still no response came. She sat back on her haunches and sighed. Perhaps he was just broken she thought, but within second words once more filtered from the savior who seemed to also want to be her demise.

She glanced up, her ears pricked forward as his words didn't make sense to her. Frowning she blurted out quickly. "I don't live with monsters!" Her little lavender eyes glowering at the stupid male above her. She'd taken a step forward and almost suddenly it seemed the whole world was crashing down. Actually it was only the wolf's fat ass that was trying to squash her, but for one so small it seemed like the world was falling.

Letting out a cry as she tried to get out from under the male she was only partly successful as his heavy body had her hindlegs pinned as she growled from under his fat belly and yelled shrilly at the male. "Heys Heys! Getorf me yous fatso!" Why in the world did he sit on her! What had she done. This fellow was so rude..

She was living in the middle of the land of monsters, and she did not even know. How cute. The cry from the child told him when he needed to know, and he could feel something twitch under him. He turned to see her legs stuck under him. Oh, such a shame, he hoped he had not broken anything. He moved sideways to create some extra pressure on her trapped limbs, hoping to hear another scream. He wondered how much her bones could take before they either broke or were pulverized. His tongue pushed on some remaining meat that was stuck between his teeth. It was so odd that he had never gone as far as tasting wolf flesh. He had always wanted to devour souls and bodies, and this was the obvious way to do it. He wanted to rip her limbs off, he wanted to rip her body apart and shower himself with blood. It had been too long since last time he had really created a massacre. He would need more people, but there were more than enough canines in these lands.

She was Iskata’s child. Iskata had saved him. She was not here now though, and the woods were empty except for the two of them. He resisted the need to laugh when she yelled for him to get off her. Fatso eh? His weight crushed down slightly heavier on her. ”Do you think puppies taste better than badgers?” It was an honest question, and he would like her opinion before he was to bite her head off.

The tiny girl let a whine escape her lips as the male seemed to think it funny to roll about ontop of her. She was utterly confused as to what had happened. He'd saved her and now he seemed to think that it was time to end that live he'd just saved. She tried to pull her body out from under the man and only ended up sitting there panting and exhausted. She yelped as the male tried once more to press his weight down on the remains that were beginning to grow numb under his large fat ass.

Growing desperate the girl turned around and began to nip at the male's tummy and hind leg, hoping that he would grow tired of the pain and remove his large rump from her small body. She whined once more as she tried to figure out what he was asking her. When the words registered she cried out. "Stupid, you can't eat me!" Her shrill voice was thrown at the male as once more she went back to nipping at whatever flesh she could snag from the male. She didn't like this game at all.

The girl was probably too dim to realize that the more cocky she acted the more dangerous he would become. In the start she had just been a light annoyance, but the girl had a big mouth and was skilled at making him aggravated. Taking into consideration that she was from the infamous Inferni clan lessened her chances further, and they were currently heading towards zero per cent. The child started her counter attack, and after a few seconds he could feel drops of blood tickle down his side. It did not hurt, but pain was something physical, unable to infect his mentality with anything else but drops of adrenaline and the rush for more of the dark flow. He wouldn’t eat the hybrid’s body, but he looked very much forward to devour her soul. This was no game, this was the real world. He was above her in the natural hierarchy, the game of predator and game.

He quickly got up on his feet, but did not grant the kid any spare time before he turned with the intention to snap her in half with a set of jaws that were still slightly blushed after the poor badger.

Zana now realized that this was no game and that she was indeed in trouble. She could taste the male's blood on the tip of her tongue where she'd nipped and snapped at his sides. The heavy form of the male not budging at all as she tried to escape. Worry and panic were beginning to work into her mind as she let out a high pitched whine. She twitched around on the ground trying to pull herself out from under the mass of the Dahlia de Mai member and realizing that she might not see her clan members after this all if she couldn't figure out something to do.

Suddenly the weight was lifted off the the small girl, she had still been trying to twist and turn when he'd suddenly moved, causing her to roll over onto her back. She had no time at all to escape before the massive jaws of the male were darting down towards her body. The little shit did the only thing she could think of doing and she snapped her own jaws open, intending on sinking her fangs into the male's nose if ot would give her the few moments that she needed to escape. She was not ready to die but if she did she wouldn't go down without some sort of fight, no mater how pathetic it might actually look.

When her teeth sunk into his nose, he made an effort to stop his jaws from biting her in half. It would not be fair to the little female. No, he wanted to play with her first. His nose seared with pain, but he only experienced it was something pleasant, a pulse of life flowing through him. How he loved it. That was why it could not end now. Iskata had saved him, and he owed the female his life. Problem was that she was gone without a trace, if one should believe the rumours, and so his heart was empty. This child was a sick tumor that had to be disposed off, and who would be better at that that Haku? The latest months in Dahlia had been dull and empty, and the demon’s pressure was almost unbearable to live with. The Dahlian’s eyes widened as in shock, pupils almost nonexistent as madness leaked into his system. He was mentally ill, and he had known it for a very long time. The main problem was that he enjoyed it.

The sickness had been a part of him for so long, so he did not know what it was to be normal. He was what he was, a feral monster that was unable to rest without the blood of the innocent. He shook his head violently, aiming to either have her lose a few teeth if she hung on or to have her flying through the air. The demon was fond of games, especially cat and mouse, where he played the predator. The coyote and her child had been amazing, and he was desperate to recreate the feeling from that beautiful night. He wanted to bathe in it. This coyote puppy would not be enough to end his thirst, but she would do for now until he could get what he truly wanted. Another merciless kill, a massacre. He wanted to rip their limbs off and tear their bodies apart. Yes, he wanted another war. It would start with this little girl.

She had been surprised when she'd actually landed a bite on the male's nose. She'd thought for sure that she was going to be indeed in very much trouble. She kept her fangs tightly embedded in the male's nose as she issued a pathetic growl. She wasn't prepared for the moment when the male just lifted his head and shook her like a rag doll. She tried to hold on for a few moments but as the world began to spin she decided that it was best to let go and take the tumble.

Zana let her fangs lose of his stupid nose and too quickly she was soaring through the air. She tried as hard as she could to roll up into a ball before she struck ground but gravity was too quick for her and she landed with a rather painful bounce across the woods. Struggling to her feet the girl shook her head and tried to gain her balance again. While she'd lucked out this time the tiny one bared her tiny blood tinted teeth at him as he seemed to take on a whole new light. He was the enemy.

Her little thistle eyes caught sight of a small burrow just underneath a bush a short distance away. Her eyes glanced from the burrow to the male as she took a hesitant step forward before suddenly dashing into full speed towards what she believed would be her salvation. She was tiny enough to fit down the rabbit hole and hopefully he wouldn't be able to follow.
