Sankor chuckled as the girl confessed her worries about the family. He shook his head and just smiled at her as he admitted. "That's ok, you don't have to prove yourself to them all the time.. make sure to leave time for yourself and your own happiness.." he sighed slightly as he turned his eyes away from the girl and admitted. "Sometimes we get so caught up in making everyone else happy we forget about ourselves.." It only took him a second before he paused in his constant stream of motion to look to the girl again as he listened to her go on.
He couldn't help the bit of laughter that escaped his lips as she decided that there was no way that he could be a thistle and instead that he was a sunflower. He smiled and stared at Colibri. His eyes light up with amusement as he just listened, not offering any words of encouragement or insult. He didn't mind being called a Sunflower though he knew at times he wasn't as sunny as others believed.
Shaking his head slightly he lowered his face to her and suggested. "Perhaps my rose we should get you back.. and another day we'll try and get you to blossom once more.." He hoped that he would see the shy young beauty again but if not it wouldn't matter. The male had never really had a life with another and he wouldn't be surprised if he didn't find himself with one anytime soon, but it was still an idea that sounded lovely indeed.
