thought Pendzez could do some singing. Japanese singing, mainly Gackt. I don't own any of these songs. Gackt wrote and owns them.

Pendzez stood out in the open upon a hill near the main pack cabins. Strapped around the back of his neck was a stringed instrument that looked like a guitar. Yeah, like one of those guitars the humans did rock form of music with. Metal in other words. Now, Pendzez has been studying up on the metal form of music. From what he has learned, the sound depends on the way you play the guitar. Wierd. The humans were just wierd. However, thought to put this and with his japanese put together. He had good songs and good music notes that would make it sound more interesting.

He sat upon the grassy patch, getting his fingers ready on the strings. He had good songs, but which one to do first. Well, he would need to get the timing right, but he felt like doing the one he recently wrote up. Bloodlust he called it. With movements of his finger, it ran down the strings making some music.

Well. that went well. To him, it sounded like metal. Japanese style. However, with the way he was singing, it did have a demonic touch to it.

Hope you don't mind me joining (:

Poetry was something that required deep concentration; the alabaster male often associated his hobby with meditating. Both procedures depended on complete silence and peace of mind, something he definitely wasn’t getting enough of. Not with the musical disturbance Phoenix Valley was currently going through! Honoré had tried everything from sticking tissues in his ears to simply pulling his hat all the way down so that it could form some kind of sound barrier. While some of those attempts managed to keep some sounds at bay, nothing worked effectively enough. Every time a higher note was played, the hairs on his back would rise with the tune.

It was like fingernails on a chalkboard; complete torture! Before long, his teeth were grinding together from both stress and frustration. Ever since his encounter with DaVinci, he’d tried controlling his urges to blurt out anything that came to mind. But this, oh this was just too much! Was someone trying to wake the dead? One of his pack mates was a Satanist! That description seemed to fit the Savant. Yes, it was probably him trying to scare the birds away. This meant war!

However, DaVinci was not the one he laid eyes upon as he climbed up that hill. It was another male, presumably much younger than he was. Damn those teenagers. While the adolescent’s pelt was similar to his, he had eyes worthy of the devil! And bloody hell, if that wasn’t enough to prove his dark nature; the strange tongue in which he sang (or screamed) was enough to really scare the hell out of Honoré.

The younger male eventually finished his incantation. The Genus’ first reaction was to scan the area for any atrocious beings that might’ve sprouted from the hell itself. Nothing out of the ordinary for the time being. Turning his attention back to the devil worshipper sitting before him, Honoré cleared his throat in order to make his presence known. “Euh, you know… any classique music maybe? Soft sounds, hm? Like ding ding, you know? ”

A presence of another wolf came to the white wolf's sight. This wolf seemed to be new. Pendzez has not seen him around of late. Yep, new wolf. Pendzez started to wonder that the song he sung seemed to have disturbed the old wolf. Well, why else would the wolf be up here. He did ask if Pendzez knew any "soft" songs. There were quite a few that he new. One was Solitary, another was Regret. There were some others, but one of the two would do for now. "Yes, I do in fact. Solitary is one that is soft on the ears. It's Japanese, these songs. Please, sit down." He shook the tension out of his hand as he again began to make some musical notes.

Kimi to hanarete omou koto ga aru
Issho ni iru toki ha kizukanakatta koto

Waraiaeta ano koro ha
Minna onaji you ni naiteita ne
Yorokobi mo kanashimi wakeatteita yo ne

During this break in the song, he did country/ballad mix that seemed to be very acceptable for norml ears. It's not every day that you can sing Japanese in different music styles and mixes of music styles. In ways, it was poetry.

Doredake aishite mo
Mou nido to kimi dakenakute
Futari no taisetsu na omoi ha tooku de yureteru

Kimi to hanarete omou koto ga aru
Issho ni iru toki ha kizukenakatta

Calm voice. No demonic. Poetic talent mix with Japanese ability. Yeah, that would help sooth wolf ears of unpleasant sounds. Pendzez did sound harsh with Bloodlust. Expressing emotion through song can be seen as unnecessary. Harsh sounds that broke calm silence or music would be troubling. "Well?"

Japanese? What the hell was Japanese? Honoré lived in a bubble where only French and English existed. And even today, he still had a hard time acknowledging the English language. Whatever it was called, be it Japanese or Demonese, the arctic wolf disliked the way it sounded. Perhaps he would’ve been a little more open-minded if he hadn’t initially heard the song entitled Bloodlust. The youngster offered him a seat and before the Genus could even consider such an offer, musical notes were already being played.

The sounds were softer, he had to admit. It was nice, at least the beginning was. Honoré followed the tempo and tapped his foot along with the song. Everything was fine and dandy until the adolescent started speaking in tongues again. Honoré’s body suddenly went stiff; the hairs on his back standing on end. Why did that boy have to ruin such a pretty song with all that gibberish? It was like nails on a chalkboard. The Québecois waited for the song to end, both of his ears flattened against his skull. His pack mate asked for some feedback and instead of being polite and providing some constructive critism, Honoré went for something a little less... conventional. “So... you be devil worshipper, hm?” he questioned, raising a brow suspiciously.

Music was part of Pendzez's life. His voice inside was being let out as a song of different genres. Bloodlust of a metal genre. Solitary, the song he just sung, was country/acoustic genre. He lived the life of a traveler, then a young fighter, now a singer also expert spearwolf. He had a passion to fill the world with music. Things should not be left empty with silence. Song can be a weapon. Some cases, song and music the greatest weapon that is ever to exist. Hearts can be stricken and changed with a song. It can bring peace and love to those who need it. Yeah, music can be the greatest weapon of all.

The older male asked Pendzez a question that seemed... unnecessary. A devil worshipper? What? Oh god. Pendzez a devil worshipper. Why would the older male even think that Pendzez was a Satanist? Was he out of his mind? "Say what?" he said in a offended voice. "I'd die before I would even think of worshipping the devil." he continued with his voice rising a little.

Honoré too, was a music lover. And what the younger male had sung a few moments earlier definitely wasn’t music; it was a headache in the making! Bloodlust, or whatever the heck his guttural yelling was called, did not meet standard song requirements. Everything sounded the same, be it the verse or chorus. It required no talent whatsoever. Of course, that did not mean his packmate was necessarily without talent because the second song had been well played, instrumentally speaking. Perhaps the five-year-old male would’ve taken the time to express his opinion diplomatically if he hadn’t made it his life’s goal to be a royal pain in the ass. Honoré “Jackass” Bélanger, that could’ve been his full name.

The youngster seemed offended by his comment, which wasn’t really surprising. He’d offended about 95% of the wolves he’d met in ‘Souls thus far. It was partly the adolescent’s fault for playing so loud and asking for feedback. A foolish thing to do when dealing with someone like Honoré. Poor guy, if only he'd known what he was getting himself into right from the very beginning. Oh well! Folding his arms across his chest, the Frenchman provided a response to his packmate’s defensive statement. “Don’t believe you. That’s what all devil worshippers say. I not be stupid, you know? You’re all like GROAR GROAR when singing, like maybe hairball stuck in your throat or something? You know? I take two pots and bang them together and yell, would make same sound,” he explained, not really expecting the teenager to understand what he meant. He was young, and well, stupid. Like all teenagers. Honoré was smart.

What was wrong with this older male? What was with his criticism? What's wrong with singing an old human language? Japanese was a great language, like the many other languages. Pendzez learned the language in case he met someone who only speaks or also knows Japanese. The people of that culture had a fantastic lifestyle and history. They had the boy amazed. He was into history, but not when it was made fun.

Pendzez stared at Honoré with his fiery red eyes. Though for being an old guy, he is starting to be a jackass. "What's wrong with Japanese? Are you also implying that the humans who spoke it were devil worshipers as well? Japan was a country that had a great and historical culture. If you look in the human books, you'll find that I'm right. So, who might you be? Where ya from?"

Honoré had forgotten how easy it was to get under people’s skin. It was never his intention to do so, of course. It just happened. He asked simple questions and others got offended, as always. Hence why he wasn't very surprised to see the devil-worshipping teenager stare at him with those… diabolic red eyes. The five-year-old male did his best to mirror the adolescent’s stare, but failed horribly at doing so. His “intense” stare consisted of him widening his eyes exaggeratedly. He managed to remain frog-eyed a few seconds, until it became evident that he had to blink at some point. And so he did.

His vision became blurry, thanks to his little stunt. And while the Genus was focused on regaining his bearings, the adolescent took the opportunity to pummel him with questions. Cheap shot. The younger male’s questions would've made sense to anyone who might’ve been listening. But not Honoré. This is what he chose to hear: “Japanese. Humans are devil worshippers. Japan evil culture in human books.” Selective hearing was a wonderful thing.

“Same thing,” he muttered, trying to understand what this guy’s point really was. It was all same in the end. He worshipped humans and humans worshipped the devil. But whatever, if he felt like wording it differently to make himself feel better, Honoré had no problem with that. “I’m Honoré from Québec. You?” Moody teenager from hell. The Québécois had to bite his tongue to keep himself from saying something along those lines.
