The door exploded and revealed the monster that had lived inside the room. The boy was soon against the wall, wanting to get as far away as possible. He was starting to get afraid of the other man too, because he was talking back to daddy, and no one was allowed to talk that way back to daddy without consequences. The man shoot a look back at him with something that looked like a smile, but the child was too scared to give any reaction back. His tail hurt against his little belly. His body shivered involuntary, and adrenaline made his whole body beat together with his racing heart. Why was daddy extra angry and what was a stray? His mind digested the word, but he was not aware of this fact. It would pop up later for questioning, but for now it was only the presence and its misery.

He finally started to sob hysterically and ran for the stairs. It required running past both wolves, but he just closed his eyes and made himself run. He had to run away! The first steps went almost flawlessly, but he tripped down the rest, getting up on his feet again and kept running, only to find the living room and the special safe spot under the sofa.

How dared he speak back at the Lilium on claimed grounds in the male’s own home. The secui slightly parted his jaws. Vukasin, it was idiotic to give out a name. The male grumbled darkly, not even bothering correcting the other. He smelt of nothing, and was a stray without a home. What made all these idiots believe that they had any rights after they intentionally ignored well marked pack borders? Haku had every right to leap forwards and spill the man’s entrails on to the urine covered floor. It seemed like a wonderful idea. He clenched his jaws tightly shut again, imagining how it would feel with the black man’s skull crunching between his fangs. Another drop of bloody saliva reached the carpet beneath him. The cocoa secui shifted an ear backwards in a dismissive manner as the man gushed out about his son. There was no reason why he should consider the loner’s words, because he was worth less than nothing in this scenario, and if there was anything Haku wouldn’t do, it was listening to the words of an obvious idiot.

The child rushed past, but the boy would be dealt with later. The very moment Conor had rushed past, the secui leaped at the loner, jaws wide open to pierce wherever they would dig in. The other man was in his optime form, but this would not be a problem. The secui form was a hybrid made out of muscles and weapons in the shape of glistering jaws and razor sharp claws. The Lilium’s fangs went for the face and throat, but his claws reached out to the other man’s sides, and the soft belly was also a brilliant fragile spot, ideal for clawing.

Vuk knew enough not to react to the kid's escape. To do so would have been a death wish, for it was common sense that it would be the best time to attack, so, he reacted quickly to the furious brute's lunge. His hands flashed to his hips as he dropped into a crouch and rolled away form the brute, in the direction the kid had taken. Unfortunately, the hall way was rather cramped, so he stayed light on his feet, practically dancing, as he descended the stairs, following Conor's scent to the mopre open living room, where he'd have room to maneuverm even as he noted the scent of blood already in the air. The kid's dad was sick.

As he made it to the bottom of the stairs, he checked himself, and discovered several shallow furrows in his right hip, where the beast had almost managed to get a grip on him. The sight of his own blood made him even more angry, and, knives held crossed in front of him, he let out one harsh laugh. "Okay, then. Bring it, ya no-good bastard!" he taunted, makign sure that the kid was no where in sight as he readied himself for a confrontation.

Skipping Conor because he is hiding under the sofa.

His jaws were too late and found nothing but air, and snapped shut without any fleshy trophy. The secui’s eyes followed every move the lupine form made, and his face turned to always face the black man. His claws had not missed though, and he knew without a glance that his gray talons had a subtle hue of crimson. His pose was low, ready to take another shot in the pursuit of happiness. For Haku, that meant bathing in blood. The man seemed to flee to another part of the house, and the Lilium followed, claws clicking as the carpet disappeared and was replaced with the wooden floor downstairs. The man seemed to have followed his son’s trail and decided he wanted a fight in the living room. The father’s eyes went to the sofa in the end of the room, where the shadow of something small shivered, pumping the repulsive scent of fear thick into the room. He wanted to pick a fight here where the kid was? What kind of man was this? The secui’s muscles tightened, revealed what kind of man the Dahlia wolf was.

The loner was bold, naïve, arrogant by the way he challenged the older man. Haku’s body was a book of experience; each scar had a history of violence to tell. He was in his best age in his most powerful form. This was going to get ugly. The man almost felt a flicker of pity for the poor child in the corner under the furniture, but the temptation of killing the dark man shadowed everything. ”Challenging the leader of a pack to a duel in his own home? Hmm?”, the man mocked softly, flashing the well used set of teeth. The illness that had held its grip on him for so long seemed to be a pleasant drug flowing through his system now, caressing him softly. The demon coiled around his neck and gave a pleasant sigh of what was to come.

Jaws opened a second time in its quest to taste raw flesh, and his claws reached out again to find soft skin to pierce. He went for the other man’s middle floor, aiming at anything beneath collar bone and above hips. Haku’s strikingly blue eyes stayed faithfully on their target, never faltering.

With bare pieces of seconds to react, Vukasin dodged to the side, again feeling claws tear through his fur and skin, as he lashed out with one of the sharp hunting knives he kept sheathed on his hips, hoping to score some points in relation to the demon's hind legs. He didn't want to kill him. After all, he was just defending himself from the crazy bastard of a wolf. He hadn't started the fight.

Vuk felt his muzzle crinkle up in anger as he used his free hand to prope his injuries. Nothing too major. He'd need a few stitches, and some antibiotics, perhaps. Nothing new. He'd been his own patcient many times since he had ended up on his own. Mismatched eyes glinted as pain from the gashes across his chest turned into adrenaline in his veins as he began shifting from foot to foot, never in the same spot as the moment before as he lashed out randomly with the blade, hoping to cause some confusion in the mind of his opponent.

The boy was agile, but Haku did not waste much strength chasing after him. Claws hit the young loner a second time, but the Lilium was not awarded with an explosion of guts hitting the floor. Out from nowhere, a knife flashed, and the four year old ripped his face sideways away from the loner, allowing only a shallow line of red to trace his skin. A low grumble sounded from the chocolate coated beast. He stepped sideways, his neck coiling and following the other man’s movements like a snake, ready to strike out and kill. He had not expected the knife to pop into the fight though, and he was surprised that he had not noticed before. Nevertheless, Haku was still a dangerous opponent, and had met far tougher individuals than the stray before him.

The beast watched the man spur into motion, wasting energy on dancing around like an idiot. The random flashes of the knife towards Haku were avoided with Haku keeping his distance. His eyes never left the black man though. There was a right time for everything. He saw every movement, and reacted according to that. The show the younger luperci was pulling made him slightly puzzled, but Haku was far too experienced to let uncertainty access. He had everything he wanted within reach. His own teeth, claws and body. The Lilium kept the little distance between them, yet never far enough away for the man to feel safe out of danger. One sign of weakness or opportunity, and Haku would grab it.

Watching closely, Vuk made sure to stay just out of reach. If need be he could try throwing his knife. After all, he had one other on him. He was constantly misplacing things, so, he liked to be prepared. And sometimes, it really did come in handy. Fortunately for him, that day he'd left his heavy satchel full of medical supplies back home. Still, he almost wished he did have it, because he was sure he would need it, whether he won or not.

Still circling, keeping moving so that he'd be a harder target, he began to scrutinize his opponent. He was ill, that was for sure, but it evidently wasn't causing him too much trouble at the moment. He'd only managed to score a shallow cut with his attack. Grimacing slightly, he stopped moving, but kept watching. He was smart. He wanted to figure out how his opponent opperated before going on the offensive.

Blue eyes calmly watched the youth’s movement. Haku’s illness was forever present both in the cocoa male’s scent as well as in his eyes. Fever hot, dangerous. Rage came quickly to the male these days, and at the moment the virus functioned as a fuel for his burning soul. As long as this little piece of shit refused to leave his house and even picked a fight, Haku’s energy would not burn out. Fucking idiotic youth, who the hell did he think he was? The male grumbled lowly under his breath, but did not waste energy on rising it to a threatening roar. With Haku, the silence was much more fatal than a threatening rumble. It was obvious that the youth had no idea who he was or what he could do. Haku had ripped people to shreds and bathed in their blood. He had killed children just for entertainment. He could be horrible to those he thought deserved it.

The moment the youth ceased moving, the chocolate male moved in. He would not let the kid get any moment of clear thought if he could help it, and so now when the trash wolf was done with his little dance, it was the secui’s turn. He stormed straight at the youth, taking care to have enough control to instantly change direction of the black luperci attempted to avoid a third attack. Haku’s eyes rested on the other’s eyes, they revealed a lot of what he needed to know. His jaws were open, ready to do more damage, but he was well aware of the knife in the other’s hand, and so his mission was to remove that threat. It would only be a bonus if the hand came off as well. Jaws aimed for the knife. If the other was to slash out after him, Haku would most likely parry it with his jaws, and at the same time attempt to rip it out of the man’s hands.

The Lilium’s claws had another aim, going for a more fleshy part of the other. There was another knife gleaming by the man’s hips, and so claws aimed to quickly remove the possibility to draw the second knife and at the same time possibly sink his talons yet again into soft skin and release the wonderful red colour.

Eyes. Those of the demon before him burned with hate, but it was hollow. The beast didn't know who or what it was he hated, he just hated everything. No wonder his kid was half-stupid and scared of everything. Bad genes, I suppose... Or just a bad upbringing. After all, the monster he was battling must've been a happy kid sometime when he was young. Maybe it was his father that made him how he was. If so, what would happen to little Connor, he wondered? Then the kid's bastard father leapt into attack mode.

The hand holding his blade rushed toward the jaws as Haku flew at Vukasin, hoping to do some serious damage inside the mouth as he spun his body sideways, bringing any vital organs, and his other knife, out of reach of the claws at the same time. He felt another gash open on his flank, but he could deal with that. Not waiting to see if the balde had done any damage, he ripped his hand back from Haku's mouth, feeling a couple of broken knuckles, and his wrist might have been fractured, too. Shaking it off, he took advantage of being behind, or beside, the other, and like lightning he moved to wrap his right arm around the brown male's neck as the claws of his left hand reach forward, clawing, hoping to gouge out an eye. He was starting to get a bad feeling, that was for sure. Maybe he should've shifted before confronting the poor kid's father.

You're very close to power-playing in some parts of your previous reply. 300+

There was no hate in Haku Soul’s eyes. They were dying stars, frozen in the moment before their extinction that would happen in a blinding light, in a glorious explosion. Haku’s eyes spoke of death and decay, because that was what he had to offer. Conor was a child that lived together with the Devil’s offspring, and the child had reason to be afraid of its sire. The brilliant blue was locked to the youth, the foolish young wolf that believed in the tales of knights and dragons, maidens and the game of thrones. Reality did not fit the stories, and there was no purpose in the black wolf’s challenge. The only explanation could be stupidity, because that was the only option that was valid if one was to investigate the younger loner’s actions.

The blade soared in his direction, and the Lilium willingly grasped hold of the shiny blade, ignoring the part of the metal that slightly dug into his gums. Jaws crushed down on command, as this was exactly what the man had wanted. The other, as expected, moved sideways, and the chocolate secui followed with ease, amused by the lack of improvisation from the younger man’s side. The other man made a movement to rip his knife out, but the Lilium held on tightly, refusing to let the guy have his blade back. His mouth was already full of delicious red and the drove the demon even further into the determination of seeing the other man being ripped to pieces.

But then. Somehow, obviously by using some kind of magic, the man was all of a sudden next to him, despite the fact that Haku had followed the man up closely with ease moments before. An arm wrapped around his throat. The Lilium did not stand by idly as this happened. He let the man get his grip, then immediately let his feet go limb, so that the other would be put out of balance by the sudden increase of weight. Although his head was jammed, the rest of Haku’s body was not, and his hind legs magnificently kicked out to severely damage the soft belly that was destined to be within reach if the other man did not immediately loosen his grip and let go. Front paws had already risen beforehand to claw at the soft and fragile underarm that held him so tightly.
