sweet little Words of Therapy

If she said anymore, she would be giving him to much. She had to be secretive, to keep herself safe. Anu wasn’t a liar, but she could hide the truth. She wanted to know about his pack because she wanted to know about the young female. It was an uncomfortable truth, and one that she was not ready to reveal. But then, as she thought more deeply, she didn’t fully understand it herself. So how could she explain it?

She could feel his eyes on her; every female could feel such a heavy petting gaze, no matter who they preferred. Anu would give him that, it was an easy thing to give and she was flattered that he wanted to spend time with her. Her eyes focused back to his face as he spoke and she fought to hide the laughter the tickled her throat. A new world? She was hoping for that, but even her brief satisfying visit to that world hadn’t changed her for good.

Was she ready? A new world? A pause to let the question settle. Boy, I have a few years on you… I’m sure I have been there. Her voice teasing him deeply, laughing as she spoke. But she wanted to go, wanted to see the hidden places of his home. Lets go. Her tone was more serious, but still light. He could show her, and she could decide if it was truly new or not.

His eyes danced as he knew now that he had her. His own little secret world was a special place that few others knew about and every time it was rediscovered he got to watch the awe that overtook them. He smiled as she seemed to go off on something about their age difference. Sankor couldn't help but laugh as he gave her a wink and admitted. "Believe me, age doesn't matter where I'm gonna take you." He found a little bit of amusement in the fact that she seemed to be taking his thoughts further than he'd meant her to, or perhaps she was just teasing him, whichever it was it didn't matter.

His tail danced behind him as he began to lead the woman off through the vineyards and towards the woods where his own little piece of heaven lay waiting. He didn't know why he hadn't really shown more the waterfall and the cave systems beyond but he could ponder that over the next time he decided if he wanted to share his perfect oasis with another. His golden eyes with the forest flecks turned back to the girl as he grinned. "I bet there's not many that have the power to take your breath away.." He sure hoped that he was going to be able to.

The small track that lead down to the pool at the base of the waterfall came into sight as he gave a happy bit of laughter and went tramping down the hill and coming to a slippery stop at the edge of the pool. Turning in a small circle to see if Anu had been able to keep up he grinned. "Well?" This was just the beginning, but she didn't know that..

At his words Anu could only laugh. He was too young to know, his heart must be too fresh and unscathed to understand the pain that came with experience. Age had much to do about it, but she could ignore the fact if he could. It was obvious that she was the senior of the pair, but she liked that he made her feel just as young as he was. But she didn’t let him win so easily. Ill be the judge of that She spoke with a fake smugness and a real smile. Trailing him away from the vineyard and towards the woods Anu began to wonder what sort of place could be hidden among his homeland. Her immense curiosity spiked, and she eagerly followed.

Looking back at her Anu saw the excitement in his gaze, and his words matched the look in his face. She could have told him no, because he was right. There wasn’t much that could take the breath from her chest, and if he wanted to truly know Anu would tell him that all those that did wore feminine names. She smiled softly at the thought, though she felt pain as well. It always hurt to look back at a few of them, not every one held a happy ending.

The world was revealed to her bright baby-blues as the forest parted. Its light green leaves were like a curtain that held a secret behind its veil. Anu stepped beyond the tree line, eyes lifting to find the place he had promised her. Anu felt it in her chest, the tight grasp of surprise and awe. It took a moment for her to breathe in the scent of the open space, she had to catch the lost lungful of air before she could speak. Sankor, its beautiful. she spoke in a voice that was barely a whisper. The waterfall fell before them, into a pool that looked far to calm for the rush of water that poured into it. The sound danced to her ears like hush, pleading for silence that would accent its beauty. It told her there were no words that could describe it, even though she had tried.

Sankor knew just how to lure them in, their curiosity spiked as he dangled the knowledge of a new and spectacular thing before them. He had loved watching the change in Cwmfen's expression when he'd revealed his little hideaway to her and he wondered as he lead the way just how the greyscaled beauty might react. His eyes sparkled as the dabbling of the shadows and light of the forest patterned their coats, their paws taking them closer and closer to the unknown.

The male knew not of her likings and the actual souls that took her breath away, he was more interested in the place. He himself had no intentions of being the one to do the amazing but to let the lands themselves take flight with the woman. His golden orbs lingered on her sky blue eyes as he tried to find the right thing to say, nothing came though and perhaps it was best, if he knew that all his flirting and pampering was for a lady that saw nothing when she looked at him he wasn't for certain how he would be reacting. He quickly moved to the side though as the fantasy land came into her view, knowing that now was that moment.

To see the spill of emotion that seemed to overflow from the woman made a soft smile play across his lips as the moment did infact take her breath away. He couldn't help but chuckle softly as he said. "I told you so.." His eyes filled with mischief as he flicked an ear idly as he stood back up on all fours as he teased her once more with something just out of reach. "but this.. is only the beginning.." he grinned as he lead her down the path and drew slowly to where the sheets of water cascaded over the edge of the falls. He turned his eyes back to make certain he was following before he edged along the rocky ledge a moment and in the blink of an eye he leapt directly into the face of the falls, disappearing from sight.

thanks so much for being whiling to close this, I hope they meet again soon!

There was something special here. The land was beautiful, captivating her mind and heart. The land flourished in the springs warmth, bright with the green of the foliage, dotted and adorned with the bright colors of flowers Anu felt were too tropic for the region. The green thumbed wolfess fought to keep her mind from becoming tangled among the species and names. Her smile did not fade as he spoke, though her eyes spoke of a childish annoyance. Of course he was right, he seemed to be right since he had come across her. But, Anu could let him win this battle. It was his place, and there was a certain amount of trust that needed to be placed on her for him to allow her to see it. Anu had her own hideaways, and she was not very whiling to let just anyone know the paths that would lead to them. Maybe that was what this place so unique, the fact that Sankor trusted her enough or wanted to share with her something that he had found and held close to his heart.

She looked on, into the falls that cascaded downward into the pool. Fallowing without a word Anu watched as the curtain parted over his back, as if seamlessly allowing him to enter into a different world. Blue eyes saw a distorted reflection in the semi translucent veil. A shadow of her lean fragile form, oddly looking back at her in question. Breathing lightly, Anu stood planted on the other side of the falls, the only sound she heard was the beating her of heart that thundered along with the falling waters. Something came to mind, and passing under the waterfall suddenly felt wrong. A memory of the young male’s face came to her, the smile he wore and the sweet words he spoke rang in her ears. It was wrong of her, wrong to be here and would be wrong to travel to the other side of the waterfall with the secret that she held.

Angry with her foolish and selfish nature Anu quickly turned. Retreating back into the woods with haste. It was rude of her to leave without notice, but there was nothing worse then leading the male on for another moment. She was hoping and looking for something that he could not fulfill, just to satisfy her doubt. Paws tread over the fresh trail that they had created, pausing slightly in the vineyard. The place they had discussed his pack… and its members. Anu looked back, wondering if he had noticed yet, wondering if he was hurt or if he was angry. In the end it would be better, someday she would explain that she had no right laughing and smiling with him, no right to allow him to show her any world other then the one she had created for herself. Eyes fell back to the path, and the way home.
