-left it so Jac could intrude if he wanted to, doesn't have to if you're busy Miyu-

Firefly had been so furious by what had been done that she hadn't even thought of what might happen if she went trampsing close to the borders of Dahlia de Mai. She'd walked out the door of the cabin and let it slam shut behind her as she stormed off towards the edge of the other pack's lands. She'd let it boil over too long under her skin and it had finally broke. She knew it should have been Jacquez that went to the other lands but she didn't wait to find out if he was even going to approach the pack.

She knew that their leader probably wouldn't even acknowledge her existence if it was Cercelee that she ran into so she kept to the edges of their lands along the Whisper Beach. She could atleast keep an eye out for Cwmfen from here incase she was luck enough that the woad marked woman pass, if not she could always trying and find Kol or even Sankor, she might have better luck convincing one of them than she ever would with Cercelee. She knew the warrior tended to travel their borders from time to time though and she hoped that she'd be right about hanging along the borders today, that she wasn't setting herself up for a suicide attempt.

I have Cwmfen in her optime form, but I can change that if Firefly isn’t, ^=^

The woman was returning from Halifax, leaving her sword behind. The blade was in need of a cleansing, especially because she had pointed its blade against Onus, who was not an enemy but her lover. But the distance she had forced upon them had been eliminated by her visit, by that chance encounter upon his scent. And while the woman’s mind had been put at ease, the tearing edges of their relationship mended, she was troubled. Corvus’ activities had grown to a dangerous level, and the woman was not sure whether she could avoid it much longer. She was tired of running from him, but at once she did not know what must be done. Her Dreams were driven only by the threat and not the solution, and she knew that it was because she did not yet understand. With a sigh, the woman, although she intended to return to Dahlia, changed her course. Perhaps it would be wise to remain within the unclaimed lands in case she happened upon her father’s elusive trail.

As Cwmfen neared her packlands, she caught the scent of another. It was a familiar scent, one that she had not run across in a long time. The woman became alert immediately. Firefly. That woman had been declared an enemy of the pack by both Haku and Cercelee—indeed, the fact that it had been Cercelee that had exiled the golden fae made this matter greater to the Adonis, for it was to the white Rosea that her loyalty was ultimately pledged. While the warrior was unarmed, having left her blade within the concrete city, she was far from being vulnerable. Most of her battles were made in the absence of a weapon, and the warrior did not believe that, should Firefly become such an opponent, she had much to worry about. Her own training far exceeded that of many, and she did not doubt that it would be so here. And it was not arrogance that made her certain, merely a confidence in her abilities. However, the woman hoped that it would not come down to such measures. The golden fae had been a respectable creature before something had changed and she had thrown it all away. And perhaps the distance that had been made between her ex-mate would have eased the woman’s volatility. Perhaps.

The woad warrior found the woman in question nearing the boarders along the shore. "Tine Cuileog," the alto melody called clearly through the distance, that language rolling easily upon her tongue. The black fae’s fluid movements paused as she held back from her pack’s boarders, the white orbs offering no hostility save for that silent warning: do not cross those boarders. While the proximity of the woman to the pack was questionable (the Dahlian warrior was not aware of who consisted of Haven’s pack), the black fae could offer the quiet friendship that had been extended, but rejected, to Svara. "It’s been a long time," the soft alto continued, stating the obvious. A light smile pulled upon her lips as she took in the sight of this woman, though she noted the obvious agitation that rattled within that form like a snake. "What trouble brings you here?"

OoC: I intrude! Yay!

Firefly had been edgy and short-tempered ever since they had to drag Svara home and stitch her back together. He was not sure whether it was the righteous anger that boiled from seeing a friend mistreated, or if it was a darker reaction towards the culprit that had been so close to her heart. Either way, when he heard the door slam, when he saw her flouncing up the coastline with purpose in her step and fury blazing in her eyes, he could not let her go alone. Heaven forbid, the same thing happened to her too. They hadn't been able to get the whole story from their yellow-eyed friend, since the trauma had made her memories all but vanish. She wasn't faking, but Jacquez had grown a bit impatient of waiting to hear why she had been mauled and mutilated. And apparently, Firefly had the same idea.

The lean Optime strode behind her, not minding if she heard him, but not expecting her too. She seemed a little too focused. The ocean refracted light onto his multi-coloured fur, playing tricks with the varying hues of red and brown and gold. He stopped to hold up his one arm, marveling at the blue-tinted shadows that danced on the white fur. For royalty, he was easily distracted by his own looks. But a voice cut through the distance, a foreign voice, a woman. Firefly was being hailed. The collie-hybrid loped the last few paces, his dark eyes peering ahead to see who it was. A pack wolf, but not one he had ever seen the likes of before.

"Bonjour," he greeted amiably, slinging his sole arm around Firefly's shoulders. He hoped to startle her. "We are here on official pack business, and you have the most curious eyes, mademoiselle. They are like clouds, set in the night sky of your silken fur... Have you descended from the sky, to meet with my little sun wolf?"

Firefly hadn't really expected the subleader to show but the soft sound of movement and the greeting of her own name to her ears caused her to turned, catching sight of the dark hued woman as she resisted the urge to snarl. It wasn't at Cwmfen that her anger was for but the same male that had caused her heartache so often when she'd belonged to the same pack as the exotic lady before her. It didn't seemed that she needed to explain anything though for the woman had already read the emotions clearly through Firefly's own motions. "Not long enough.." She'd hoped to stay clear of her old pack but it seemed that the shadow over her life didn't want that to happen. She furrowed her brows as she shook her head in annoyance, thankful that the woman so quickly cut to the chase but not sure of what to think of this mellow attitude to her appearance on the edge of their lands.

She opened her maw to speak, "What do you.." but that was as far as she got when suddenly she felt the weight of Jacquez frame against her body and his words overlapping her own. The chance to flirt never passed their king by and she couldn't help but growl softly under her breath at his words, her eyes turning back to Cwmfen as she admitted. "He nearly kill her.." She wouldn't say it out loud but she wouldn't do him such justice to let him die if she got a hold of the bastard, but she wanted to know what in the hell was going on in Dahlia de Mai that they no longer had their demon on his tight leash.

The woman light smile took an a wry tone at the golden wolf’s greeting made in return. The woman was silent for a moment, smelling the scent of the woman. There was a new flavor there, something she had smelled upon Haven. There was only a mild surprise within the warrior—she hadn’t really expected the golden woman to join another pack, or for a pack to accept such volatile behavior. But then the black fae supposed that much of the bitterness and resentment had arisen from the lost love—if it had even existed. The woman was not sure, but Haku was not one to remain with one woman for long. And yet it had almost seemed as if it would work for the two creatures; surely there had been love in the beginning. But now there was nothing, and Firefly had been a thorn in Dahlia’s side, festering for her rage at Haku. Hopefully that had all passed now, but she was not sure. At the moment, Firefly was just as the woad warrior remembered, but she sensed that there was more than a trifle upon the other’s mind.

The white orbs shifted as another approached—a dog with fiery fur. He was obviously familiar with Firefly in the way that he made contact with her (and she knew that Firefly was not one to allow just any creature to touch her). His words were coquettish, almost out of place for the mood that had been set by the two women. A light, almost amiable smile flickered across her woad bound maw. If only she had descended from the heavens. "I’m afraid not," the Caledonian-Korean replied quietly. "I’ve descended only from the darkness." Surely, if there were a way to descend from darkness, it would be from rape. It was the anger, the humiliation, the utter, insurmountable emotions that had created the darkness and it was in that darkness from which she had been conceived. And perhaps the words of the male had been intended to be taken more lightly, but the warrior was not one who could recognize such word play.

The Dahlian Warrior would have introduced herself, but Firefly’s words interrupted such thoughts. There was no need to clarify the ambiguous use of pronouns. She knew exactly what it was that brought Firefly so near to the boarders of the pack in which she was not allowed: Haku and Svara. Wherever Svara went, Firefly would be there, and wherever Firefly was one could find Svara. "Haku said as much," the soft melody responded, those golden tones subdued by a deeper colour. "He said that she attacked him—she should have simply walked away." The warrior was not one to waste her mercy. Every creature had a choice, she had told Firefly this before. And it was the choice that took each living creature upon the path that was taken. For now, until something changed the reliability of the Lilium’s words, the Adonis had no reason to doubt. And she must display the loyalty to the pack.

OoC:...

Firefly growled at him for flirting, and he smiled impishly in return, dark eyes mere inches from her glittering emerald stare. She was upset, and rightfully so, but his moods were never so cut-and-dry. Being surrounded by dangerously beautiful women was a reason to celebrate, and once they started talking seriously, he knew he wouldn't be allowed to flirt anymore. He sighed dramatically as they went ahead and breached the subject anyway, and rested his chin on the golden wolfess's shoulder. He wanted to know more about the one "descended from darkness". That sounded so intriguing.

"Did he tell you that he gnawed off a piece of her tail? That he tore fur out all along her back, to spell out a word...? That he raped her, too?" He spoke bluntly as always, despite knowing that it would sting Firefly to hear the story told in that manner, and possibly the nameless exotic as well. Svara had not told anyone the specifics of the sordid tale because her memory had been blanked, but Jac had been the first to answer the distress call. He could smell the mystery man all over her, and that musk was unmistakable. Sex had happened. It could hardly be consensual with all the blood everywhere, could it? Unless he decided to attack her afterwards to cover his tracks. Some criminals panicked like that.

Now, the real question would be how this Dahlian leader reacted. If "Haku" had been honest and said he got carried away, then there wasn't much to pursue here. But wolves were sensitive to the plights of their comrades, and if Svara was really a former packmate, the cloud-eyed woman would have to get upset. Jacquez just wanted a piece of this blue-eyed bastard. Haku had no right breaking one of his followers that way, regardless of prior claims. He wanted to get even.

Firefly couldn't help the tension that caused her pelt to bristle, listening to the words of Jac as he tried to explain just what had happened. She didn't know what she expected from Cwmfen but she shouldn't have been hopeful in the least. Her eyes darkened as the woman stated that Haku had already spoken to them. She bared her fangs in disgust as she spat. "Svara would never have attacked Haku, that damn pup worshiped him.." She'd worshiped Firefly as well and yet Haku had only repaid the child with trying to take her life.

She barely felt the touch of Jac as she continued. "Of course you'd stick by the beast. We all knew he was a monster, and yet each and everyone of us turned away from his deeds.." (except Firefly, who'd been by his side each and every step of the way). She shook her head in disgust as she asked, "No one seems to care how carried away he got, that he ripped the fur from her back and carved "Whore" into her flesh." Her eyes were like fire as she turned them to the misty orbs of the Adonis. "OR did he neglect to mention everything he did.." She could almost figure that the male had lied or atleast made light of the truth.

The thread where Haku comes and tells Cwmfen and Cer isn’t far enough on to say what was told, so some of this is assumed, ^=^;;;;

The quiet, white flames flickered slowly, calmly within that steady gaze. Her attention was upon the one armed male as he spoke (and briefly, that curious mind wondered how such a severe wound had been manifested upon that form), seemingly unruffled by this encounter. His blunt words did not phase the warrior—she had seen enough to be moved by mere words. But what did catch her attention had been the word ‘raped’. Her mind was alerted immediately. Haku had not said that—of course, he had not gone into the details as well. But she wondered if he would have raped Svara in the presence of Lilith, who had witnessed the entire scene and had lead the wearied Lilium back to the packlands. The whole situation seemed highly questionable, and she did not think that the Lilium would be that stupid.

The white gaze shifted to her former packmate. "He said that Svara had attacked him—there was a bite wound upon his neck. After that he had ‘lost it’, as he said, and it is not something that is hard to believe." Firefly, if anyone, would know the tendencies of Haku’s character. All of them knew what he was capable of. The mind of the warrior had once simply been unburdened by the boundaries of this society, and rape had been seen as one simply being unable to defend oneself against another; indeed, when her own father had raped her, she had not been able to so such a thing, and while she had been distraught, instead of falling into a mental void she had risen above it. She was a warrior now. But she knew the ideals of this society, and she recognized also the severity of such actions, especially because of Onus. "I am aware of how Svara felt about Haku," the warrior continued. "Would that not deepen the betrayal that she felt when he expelled her from Dahlia?"

There was a slight pause. "He may not have gone into such detal, but how accurate is the tale Svara tells? Perhaps it was not rape—she worshipped him, as you said. Perhaps she sought to get close enough to kill him, to take revenge." These words were merely her mind sifting through the information, creating possibilities that made sense with Svara and her attitude. Of course, the warrior’s mind did not discard the possibility that Haku had caused it all, but she kept that possibility pushed far back. "There was a witness to this whole thing—her name is Lilith, and she has confirmed Haku’s story." The white orbs challenged Firefly to produce evidence of equal caliber. "Haku may have gotten carried away, but Svara made the first attack." And that was part of what must be done; she must uphold the word of the leaders and the pack. Cercelee had chosen to allow Haku’s tale to pass as truth, and Cwmfen must defend that.

Suddenly she wondered who the male was and why he seemed so concerned. She could smell the scent of a pack, but Haku had not claimed to have scented a pack upon Svara...

OoC: =)

The Dahlian woman stood coolly on the borders of her land, listening attentively to their heated words. It was hard to guess the direction of her gaze, with her misty white orbs lacking any discernible pupils, but he liked to think that she was studying him, the familiar way he rested on the Sadira woman's shoulder, the confident way he lilted his words. Was she not intrigued? He cut a dashing figure, indeed. He wanted to see where the gleaming blue markings cut swathes through her rich ebony fur - were they skillful plant dyes, or a majestic trick of genetics? Perhaps it would be worth a solo trip to this flower pack, to see the exotic blossoms they raised in their patch.

"Svara can't tell us a damn thing. All she can remember is a 'blue-eyed monster'. Didn't even recall her own name," he informed grumpily, irked by the lack of intel on their end. He sighed, huffing into Firefly's ear. "Seneschal Firefly recognized your Haku's scent, though. Her brother DaVinci was witness to the wounds; he treated them, and can confirm what we've told you." DaVi was a pack leader now, right? Strange, that once upon a time they had sailed together. Their lives were so different now. Although his patchy memory could not offer much about how things used to be...

"You're saying you believe she seduced him, and then went for his throat? That sounds rather... insidious, for someone as brash and straight-forward as Svara. I may not know her as well as you two lovely ladies, but even if she went off to attack her hero, is he the sort that would fall for it...?" His deep voice was calm, wondering aloud as the dark werewolf had been. Without clear-cut proof, without reliable witnesses on either side, their case was floundering. If this "monster" was known for committing such crimes, and had gotten away with them before, there was little they would be able to do. Still, now that they had the strength of pack law behind them, the coward with the blue eyes would not be likely to return to their kingdom. "Perhaps, mademoiselle, it would be wise to inform your cruel friend that the youth he mauled is now a pack leader..."

Firefly sat and listened to the both of them speaking, her eyes narrowing at the words of the woman. She already knew that trouble was brewing and it was pointless to talk to the dark hued leader of the pack. She growled as Jac began to speak to the other, warning her of Svara's position in their pack. Firefly cut him off at the end though as she knew the whole meeting was hopeless now. "Let's go Jac, she's too blinded by loyalty to the pack to realize the wolf right in the mists of their precious flock." She narrowed her eyes at Cwmfen as she warned. "Don't be surprised when you feel his fangs in your own throat.." Fierfly knew what the male was made of, what drove him and how he could change on a dime. She wasn't sure if the rest of the pack really knew how warped he was.. but sh could bet that in time they would learn.

He had just turned her back to the woman a moment before she paused and glanced back. "Honestly.. do you believe any woman would sit idle and watch a beast rape another.. or even take his pleasure of one? Perhaps you should get your story straight too.. not everything seems to add up." It was just like Haku to find someone to twist around his finger and mold some fucked up excuse for him. She wondered just who of the pack he probably could have got to do just what this Lilith character had done. She shook her head in disgust as she stared at the misty eyed woman before turning away. She really wasn't worth her time.

"She lost her memory," the quiet melody rose in question, but it was not a question that was meant to be answered for she knew what was meant by the male’s words. "Perhaps you are unfamiliar with Haku Soul. He is not a creature of control but a creature of impulse." The white orbs turned from the one-armed male to the golden female: had she not informed the hybrid male of the Dahlian Lilium’s behavioral tendencies? The chocolate Lilium did not like to be bound by chains, and as a male he gave into lust and impulse. Rape did not surprise the black female. It would not be the first time that the Lilium had done such a thing. And the Caledonian-Korean had a different view upon such an act, one that did not necessarily agree with the views of this society. And she reminded herself again of such a difference, and she knew that something would be done. "I do not doubt the brutality of the Lilium’s attack," the woman countered. "That is not the issue here. The issue is of blame."

The woman did not respond to the male’s words and was silent. But when he informed her that the yellow-eyed girl was a leader now, the woman broke the silence. "A leader? Is a creature so arrogant and disrespectful able to be of use? In war, arrogant children cannot be used." The words did not hold any snide tone or anger. She spoke simply and openly as if observing the bark of a tree with a question of its durability. The black fae shifted her weight, and it seemed for a moment as if she were in thought. For a moment the silence continued until she lifted her gaze to meet that of the male. "She may be a leader of a pack, but she belonged to no pack during the attack. Such a thing cannot be used against the Lilium. He may be rash, but he is not stupid." Haku would have attacked Svara more freely because she was a loner, but had she been of a pack, the Adonis believed that the blue eyed Lilium would have practiced greater discretion. It was strange, however, that the leader of this new pack would appoint a wounded wolf as a leader. To the warrior, such a thing did not seem rational.

"You speak as if we do not know of what he is capable of, Firefly," those quiet tones countered. "You knew as well when you mated him, and you did no better than he." The Adonis had been yet unfamiliar with the pack at that time, but the trouble that the mated pair had wreaked had not gone unheard of. Svara had simply joined their endeavors from the moment of her joining. "Do not forget also of the temper of your leader." Svara’s temper always got her into conflicts. The scars upon her face, strangely symbolically fitting, was a product of such anger. Her exile from Dahlia was a product of such anger. "I do not presume to know what others do, or of what the witness was capable. But your story is lacking as well. For now, I can but remain loyal to my pack. As Warrior, that is my duty. As Adonis, I am still seeking evidence to understand this ordeal." The white orbs met the green eyes with that untroubled ease, but Firefly turned away. "Do not threaten me with Death, Firefly. Warriors live with Death at their heels. Death will come when it shall for me."

She turned to the one-armed man. He seemed to hold some superiority over Firefly, although the Adonis was uncertain as to who he was in relation to her. Aside from the attributes she saw and heard, she knew only that he held a name of ‘Jac’. "Until I know more, I will not make any heavy judgment." As a warrior, she knew when to proceed and when to remain. "I appreciate that you have come to discuss this matter, but perhaps you should have waited until more was able to be discerned." Once more, there was no judgment within those words, no haughty or arrogant undertone. "Do not be too eager to create conflict between our packs," the warrior suggested. "It is not wise to leap blindly into battle."
