ooc: Today is my birthday and I want a party. Get-together for all our new members to meet and greet! Let Svara Thames have the first reply, and then everyone else is welcome to join, no official posting order. Your characters can bring their weapons, horses, whatever they want to show off to each other. Eat, drink, and be merry! =)

Corn meal, sugar, yeast, water.

He found a sack of corn meal in the old abandoned barn, buried beneath the bales of moldy hay and mouse droppings. That was where he found the metal tub, too, only a touch rusty around the edges, with a hole or two that could be plugged up with the right sized rocks. Water was easy; just a trip or two to the river that cut through their swathe of forest, and the tub was full. Sugar was more of a trick, but Halifax revealed itself to be a treasure trove of human leftovers. He had met the red-eyed Lykoi girl there, and she had been looking for sugar. At the time he had dismissed the possibility, but with a more dedicated search, he had discovered a sealed cabinet that the rodents had not detected, and a tin of the white granulated sweets was more than enough for what he was cooking. In the same building - unbeknownst to the king, an abandoned bakery - he sniffed out packets of yeast, integral to the process. If not for the yeast, his gamble would have been for naught.

The process was a familiar one to him - starting a fire beneath the tub of water until the rolling bubbles churned throughout, tipping the sack of corn meal into the makeshift pot, cooking it into a lumpy mash. The sweet scent as he added the sugar filled the cave, and brought a smile to his wicked muzzle, happy to be making more of his beloved addiction. As the mess cooled, he added the yeast, and let the fun begin. It bubbled and stewed on its own, sequestered in the dank cave for several days while Jacquez scouted the human dwellings for the last few pieces of equipment. His pack had been growing exponentially despite missing his presence, and he let himself remain focused on his task. He hadn't brewed moonshine in a long time, and it was important that he remembered all the steps that he had mastered back home. Someone as impatient as he had to keep his mind occupied, so that he did not rush the slow process. Finally, with several old clay jugs tucked under his arm, and a coiled copper tube from the barn that had probably been used for the same purpose back in its human days, the king returned to his brewery.

As the sour mash bubbled up again above the fire, condensation dripping through the tube into the first jug, the collie-dog sat cross-legged and let his mind wander. In the course of time since they had claimed the beach territory, Svara had left her mate, Ruri had come out of her shell, Leroy had completed building his house, Haven had tamed a stallion, and Firefly had grown scarce. They had welcomed many new canines at their borders, male and female, pack animals and loners. It was all highly exciting. Tonight he hoped they all showed up. At some point, the warmth from the fire lulled him to drowsiness, the steady plip-plip of the forming whiskey leading him to drift to sleep. When he awoke with a start, cheek pressed against the cold stone of the cave floor, there was a small puddle of overflowed moonshine near his face. His pink tongue darted out, lapping at the dark amber liquid. He sat up slowly, licking his lips. "Not bad," he said with a spreading smile, considering that he had not had a choice in measuring his materials. The alcohol was sour and strong. It would serve its purpose, and better yet, there was a lot more of it than the dusty bottles he had liberated from the old dive bar in the city. Now he had a way to sustain his drink supply.

The moon had risen by the time he filled the third jug, gathering dry driftwood all the while to start a crackling bonfire on the beach. Fire made everything better. The light danced on the cliff walls as he lugged the sloshing jugs onto the sand, nestling them by the butt of each log that had been arranged for his packmates to sit upon. All they were missing was food... but that wasn't his department. His cheerful followers could always snag some fish in the nearby ocean, roast them on the merry flames. It was a spontaneous gathering; they should know to bring their own food if they had not eaten by this hour. Or so he told himself. Tipping back his noble muzzle, the self-proclaimed king bayed a deep howl, his commanding voice reverberating through the cave system, pealing above the cliff walls. They would hear. They would come, if they wanted to try his tasty moonshine and dance around the bonfire and play in the moonlight. The one-armed Optime slouched comfortably atop one of the smooth logs, looping his claw in the handle of a warm jug. In the meantime, he would start drinking.

OOC: Happy birthday Miyu!! MUHAHAHA not a teenager no more!!! >D
She sat outside her house watching the sun leave the sky and let the moon take it's place. She was alone tonight sitting on the porch of her large house. It wasn't like the house was just hers, Leroy and her shared it, but so did a few other members. Truthfully Svara liked the company as long as they staied out of her room. Long red hair was loose around her shoulders tonight, making her look more like the young pretty girl she really was. Scars could only ruin some of the beauty she had.

As she watched the light fade from the sky she wondered where their king was. A sly grin slid onto her lips. The male had the ability to get under her skin that was for sure. Leaning back onto the porch floor she looked up at the house and the surrounding trees. What was she missing right now in her life? There was something but she hadn't really been able to find it. She knew her pack mates still question her reasoning behind letting Leroy go. Svara didn't care. The constable had had her reasons for cutting the male loose from her.

The sound of Jacquez call made her sit up. Ears twitching upon her head she wondered what the king was up to. Shifting to her wolf form Svara started for the beachs. Loping through the woods she dodged left and right to not hit a tree. What could he be up to? Finally she found the familiar sands and slowed down. Trotting towards the king she stopped to stand next to him and look at the fire he had constructed. Looking up at him from her small posistion next to him she let a sly grin pull her wolf maw. "A party ehh?"

The constable shifted so she was able to talk to him easier and take her share in the moonshine. Long red straight hair flowed down her body as she took a deep breath after the change. She had stopped using her wolf form as much as she had when she was a pup. Looking at Jacquez next to her she grinned. "The first dance king?" Her voice was husky like always, but there was a hint of flirting in her ways. The red she wolf hoped that this gathering would repair her broken ego. She waited for him to respond and for the other members to come.

They had heard the sound together, not having gone to bed quite yet, and were going toward the leader's cave. Siobhan held onto Haven's hand with one of her own, the hem of her dress in the other. She had replaced the dress she'd worn in Inferni with a new one, one made with a million tiny little sparkles. It was still red, but the moonlight made the color seem to change the dress' color to a purple-red as it shone down upon the two.

Life had been going good so far in Cour des Miracles. Haven treated her really well and she was growing to like the lands. It was hard living in a place that seemed to cheerful and happy after the atmosphere in Inferni. She looked up at the orange-furred boy, then ahead of them. "We're almost there, yes?"

Haven had been a little selfish ever since Siobhan had arrived. He was never far from the house they shared, if he left it at all. Having spent their whole lives apart for the most part had made him greedy for her company. Now that they were finally together he gobbled up all the time they spent together, content to lavish his affection on her and ignore everyone else inside the pack. But at the howl from their King signaling a late night gathering he couldn't resist it. He knew there were many new faces for Cour des Miracles aside from Siobhan and he needed to get to know them. Also showing up in front of the King with her by his side would hopefully avoid any unwanted flirting by the collie.

As they walked hand in hand towards the call a large smile was plastered on his face. He had left Drogon and Vowkeeper in their respective places. The stallion was no doubt tired and this was to be a celebration where his weapon should not be needed. Besides, if he were going to drink the last thing he needed was the longsword to bumble about with. The bright spot of the bonfire came into sight. "Yup! It's just up ahead." He squeezed her hand and then picked up their pace a little to arrive more quickly.

Well, it seemed they were far from the last to show up. Only Jac and Svara were present currently. "Greetings Your Highness, Svara," he said, nodding his head to their two leaders. "Jacquez, this is Siobhan, Siobhan this is King Jacquez." He introduced his beau, his hand slipping from her grasp and moving to place his arm about her slight shoulders. Their monarch would have no difficulty seeing that they were together as more than a couple of friends. "It's a lovely night! What have you got there?" He had never seen such large jugs before.

The blind girl had been sleeping when she had heard Jac's call. Yawning drowsily, the slate and ivory girl uncurled her tiny lupus form from its position on her new bed, in the room she had received over the course of the past few days. Having a bed of her own again was nice, and now she could curl up just perfectly. She did not like her quadruped form when it came to every day living, but for sleeping, not much compared to curling up into the tightest position she could manage and drifting off to sleep.

However, now she was awake and had to get to where Jac was. So, after hopping down to the floor, the delicate female shifted to her bipedal optime form. "Much better," her soprano voice muttered, followed by another yawn. Exitting the house, the tiny femme walked with relative ease until she reached the area closer to the cave, where she was less familiar. Here, the terrain was rockier and she had to feel around with her feet to make sure she didn't trip. She could hear the voices of her packmate's, however, which told the young duchess that she was very close. "Jac! Haven! Svara! Could one of you guys come help me?" She called, with a bit of an embarrassed, but gleeful laugh. She likely would have made it to the gathering eventually, but she wanted to get there sooner rather than later. For that the petite border collie hybrid would need assistance. She was in a distinct mood to sing all of the sudden, and she had a feeling Jac would ask her to. With that in mind, the Lautari ran through her list of memorized melodies to decide which to sing first.

ooc- I say we get drunk real fast like.

It had been a quiet day, and Strelein had not seen fit to harass anyone. He had been bored, yes, but he had kept out of everyone's hair by attempting to look for more beads, which Svara would have mocked him for. The woman got under his skin, but as time went by, her insults stung less and she seemed more a friend than at the beginning. Though their relationship was still pretty nonexistent, Strel liked to think that things were improving. She might even warm up to him and cut off her streams of cruel words. But whatever happened, Svara was a packmember, which meant that even disliking her could not bypass the loyalty that was required.

When the call came out from the king, Strel had been cleaning off a bunch of plastic beads. They were dusty and dirty, and looked cheap to boot, but they could help fill out a necklace with many missing pieces. He packed them away in his bag, which still contained some clothes of his. His ears perked up at the sound, and he grinned. The King had been up to something for a while, and now it seemed they'd find out. Chances were he had planned a party of some sort. That meant alcohol, and while Strel had not really drank much before, he hoped to enjoy himself to the fullest.

Around the area of the cave, Strel noticed another pack mate struggling. He knew enough of her to know she was blind. Rushing in to assist her, he took her hand and began to lead her slightly. "Here, let me help you." He couldn't address the others yet, namely because he did not want this woman to fall. It would be a nasty one if it happened, and the evening could not stand to be ruined by something so easily prevented. "Oh careful where you put your left foot down."

Life couldn't get any better. A new pack, new life. The hybrid was something else. This seemed to be changing him. He enjoyed life in his new home, even though it was about nearly a week now. He met only one of the pack members, but he knew that he'll eventually meet the rest of them. They can't be that hard to find in this pack land. He sat down under a tree, breathing in the sweet Cour des Miracles air. His bow with him and his quiver, as always. He would go anywhere with out it. He grew a habit to take it where ever he goes. Nothing more, nothing less.

He was nearing relaxation, until he heard a calling howl. It was Jacquez, the one who accepted him into the pack. What luck. He was calling for every one. This was a good chance to meet some more of the pack members. He thought to accept this call and come to this pack meeting. He stood up and made his way the meeting point.

He came to the area and found that there were some other pack members there. He saw Jacquez, a red haired female, a white female with and orange fur male, and another male that seemed to helping a blind female. That seemed to be about it, no one else. Maybe others will come if there are any. He approached the small, but good group with a good attitude and with a smile. "Hello. Jacquez, good to see you again."

Party yaay!! =D

Reflected firelight gleamed in his dark eyes as he took another swig from his flagon, wiping his mouth on the same white-furred arm. The home-brewed whiskey could have used some flavouring - honey, malt, anything really - but it was high proof and would certainly serve its purpose. Besides, after the first few gulps, the sour taste didn't really matter anymore...

Moonlight made the pale sands shine like a river of silver, and it was not long before he spotted the first soul arriving, slinking low to the ground with her yellow eyes glowing. "All work and no play makes for a dull life," he purred in response, watching as the Constable straightened up to shift, her proportions stretching tall and lanky as her red mane tumbled freely over her narrow shoulders. It did not take long, and by the time she had finished assuming her birthright, the sinuous collie-hybrid had settled his jug into the sand at his feet and stood, crossing the distance between them. "Dance we shall, but first we'll need music..." His folded ears twitched at the rustling sounds of others approaching. He brushed his fingers under her chin, winking flirtatiously before turning to face the next arrivals.

Hand in hand came the young couple, his Knight and the new recruit that had supposedly left the clan Inferni. He had not yet met her face to face, and was pleasantly surprised to see her diminutive features as they both reached the warm glow from the crackling bonfire. "Yes, yes, greetings, Haven - and mon Dieu, what an adorable little creature you've brought to us tonight!" He brushed past the orange-furred hybrid, looming in to peer at Siobhan's brilliant ruby eyes. They had a different sheen to them than the "flawed" red eyes he had seen in another coyote, but the long ears and cherubic facial structure were one and the same. "Siobhan is a delightful name, mademoiselle. I trust that you are enjoying your stay with us so far?" He tilted his head, mischievous smile playing on his noble countenance. Then Haven distracted him, effortlessly diverting his attention back to the alcohol he had toiled to brew. "These, my dear friends, are flagons of moonshine! White lightning, Eau de vie, gnôle, goutte... It is free for all to share, to celebrate this night and bask in each others' company! Just do not get the drinks too close to the flames, or you will be sorry...!" He whirled dramatically, plumed tail waving behind him as he walked to greet the next canines to approach the gathering.

The next pair to arrive were not a couple, but rather his sweet blind companion and the colourful man he had admitted days prior. It pleased him to see that the former loner was already adapting, willing to offer his assistance to the sightless female. "Ruri, ma petite! You have made it! Come, warm yourself by the fire. You are not allowed to touch the jugs," he added quickly, forbidding her as always from drinking. No one else had the kind of restrictions that he imposed on his little sidekick, but she rarely protested his protective treatment. "And good to see you again, monseiur Von Rosnete!" Amazingly, he had remembered the rust-maned wolf's name... a rare occurrence. Then again, he always thought that being drunk made him smarter - perhaps it was true. He clapped his good arm on the man's back, ushering him towards the heart of the gathering.

A third figure made his way forward, dark cape blending in with the shadows until the firelight made the iridescent feathers gleam. "Bonsoir, Tallon! Welcome to the party!" he crowed, excitement filling him with a boundless energy. So many already had answered his call, and there were still more that could arrive - the last two founding members, and any joiners that Svara had admitted. The king drifted back to his second-in-command's side, surveying the growing crowd with undisguised pride. "Ah, it is a good night to be alive, is it not?" he exhaled happily, one hand planted firmly on his hip. This was the life!

IC...

Ayita smiled as she heard the sounds, she had heard a howl and it had made her rather excited. Maybe it was a chance for her to get to know everyone and meet those of the pack she has yet to meet. By the looks and the sounds many had already started to arrive.

She walked so she was slightly at the edge rubbing her head she smiled. She was rather shy and didn't want to pip up but she'd never be noticed if she didn't. She saw Svara and wanted to go and talk to her but she looked rather busy talking to a man. She wondered who he was till she heard some one else greet him. The King so that must be like the alpha? It must be due to the fact that everyone here paid him with high respect.

She stretched once she had changed, the feeling of her hair falling down her back and around her shoulders was strange, since she usually kept it up. Maybe just this once it gave her the beauty of a female. Jac responded to her question and it made her smirk lightly, no hard look on her face tonight, only a girls smile. He came to her and brushed his fingers under her chin making the red she wolf laugh as he winked. This was something they all needed. He left her to greet the others, something Jacquez was better at then she. Since she wasn't much for greeting and happy smiles she just watched as they came.

Siobhan and Haven came first. The sight of the beautiful girl made Svara's heart fall. She really could come to hate the girl. It wasn't a true malious. Svara hated the self pity she was feeling, but you couldn't control what you felt, you had to live with it or let it go. She went for the jug Jac had set down. Taking up the large container she took in some of the moonshine. It was sour and strong going down her throat, but it felt good to have the liquid on her tounge. The constable had to watch how much she had, because she knew when she was drunk she let down her guard.

The sound of Ruri calling out almost made Svara move to go to her, but she saw as Strelein came to her first. Setting the jug down she was thankful she didn't have to go to the girls side. She wasn't one for helping much, but if it was Ruri she had a weakness for the female. Svara was surprised to see someone she hadn't met yet. A male that came welcoming Jacquez openly. The king must have accepted someone. Watching the new male she didn't find any need to introduce herself, he would learn on his own who she was if he was smart.

Almost everyone was here. Some of the others would come when they were ready. Already the king was back by her side with a happy air around him. Svara just smirked at his additude. "mmmmhmmm" Svara agreed arms now crossed over her chest. Svara's yellow eyes didn't miss as Ayita came. The girl seemed like the type that didn't know how to socialize much. Leaning in towards Jac's ear she spoke to him. "The girl her name is Ayita. It be good for you to welcome her." Svara said, she remembered how harsh she had been to the girl that night caught in the rain. Leaning back from the king she wondered if she should get drunk after all so this would be over quicker. Yellow eyes strayed over to the white girl again in her pretty dress. A growl emitted from her throat before she went and picked up the jug again, better get drunk fast.

She didn't know if anyone else wore clothing besides her, if it was an appropriate thing for a member to be doing here in this place. She hadn't been here for long, and so far she only knew Svara and Haven. She had a feeling that the red-furred leader didn't like her much, and planned to keep out of her way as best she could. She didn't want to cause problems...and even though she did know how to fight it didn't mean that she wanted to use her skills. She didn't like fighting one bit. This kind of merry gathering, though...she liked this. Inferni hadn't had something like this.

Siobhan shrank back behind Haven's side as she realized that they were going to be greeted, her ears going back a little, showing her discomfort. She wanted to be a part of this, yes, but she didn't know how to. She'd never seen a meeting like this before. Everyone looked really happy, smiling, though. She wanted that too. The girl gave the King a quick nod, unsure of what sort of a response was required from her. Should she have bowed? He was a King, after all. "Ah..yes, sir. Siobhan likes it here--Haven showed her around. It's a very nice place"

Haven hadn't even thought that Siobhan had likely never been to a gathering like this before. As she shrank back he squeezed her shoulder reassuringly. Hopefully this hadn't been a mistake, bringing her to the bonfire. He wanted her to have a good time and so far it didn't seem like she was. Maybe she was just overwhelmed for the moment and she would adjust. Though if at any point she wanted to leave he would take her home. Though he was glad to distract the King with his question about the jugs. He had had a feeling it was something the man had worked hard on and would no doubt love to explain. Ah, so their fearless leader had brewed them all some alcohol. Haven had abstained from the stuff since leaving the city, but maybe a drink or two wouldn't hurt.

"Would you like to go have a drink?" he asked, looking down at Siobhan. Though he looked back up as he heard Ruri call out and asked for assistance. He was about ready to go to her, but Strelein showed up just in time to help their blind member. He wanted to introduce Ruri and Siobhan as well, but that itch for a drink had become strong in the back of his mind. Taking her hand again he walked them over to the nearest jug and lifted it up. "Cheers!" He said with a dazzling grin and took a long swig. Man, this stuff was strong! He'd have to be careful not to drink too much of it.

ooc -

Wooo~ I'm assuming that he knows Talon's name, since they had a thread.

ic -

The howl was not a heavy one, so Vigilante was more than happy as he strode to where he knew the pack was gathering. His long, muscular legs took him there faster than he would have arrived in his lupus form, as he simply preferred this form to the other. It felt more natural, just as it felt more natural to go without clothing. It seemed that Jacquez had a similar feeling, Vigilante realized as he approached the group, as the king was in the same form he'd been in when they had first met. More of the pack was there, including Talon, whom he had met shortly after joining the pack. There was also the little fiery female, shifted and, it seemed, nowhere near as angry as she had been.

His muddy eyes travelled to the jugs on the ground, and to everyone that was there already. Evidently, there was going to be some drinking tonight. No worries, he thought bto himself. Stay over to the side. The mixed male never drank, as it caused him to lose his composure and his guard. His former profession had not allowed him even the occasional drink, and even though he was in a new pack with a new life, the habit would likely stick. Too many times had he seen those that were drunk; they were often his targets, and they were never capable of defense. Drinking led to the inability to think, and Vigilante liked to keep all of his senses available for him at a moment's notice.

"Hello, everyone. I hope I'm not too late to join the party?" he growled happily, his tone joking. Jacquez was with the less-angry female (for he still did not know her name), and it seemed everyone was grouping together. The pale, shifted female standing off to the side looked lonely. Vigilante strode towards her with a gentle smile, holding out one of his hands to take one of hers as he reached her. He winked at her before speaking, but it was only a friendly wink. "Good evening, Miss. You have a lovely outfit," he added, hoping that she would not be one to feel awkward aboput his not wearing clothes when she was. "My name is Vigilante. And you might be. . . ?"

OOC: BTW, Ruri, sorry for posting before you. I wasn't really paying attention. Won't happen again. Promise. x

Talon had a bit of thirst in him. He could probably do with a drink. He never had what was in thise jugs. At first, he though it was just water, but he then slipped to think it was alcohol. He never had that kind of beverage. Maybe wouldn't hurt to have a sip or two to taste. He set down his bow and quiver and walked over to the jugs, coming up next to the orange hybrid that had the white female as his companion. His crow feathered cloak was on him, as always. He had always worn it, except when he went to sleep.

Bending down, he picked up one of the jugs. This would be his first drink of alcohol ever in his life. He took a couple of sniffs, before he took a sip. Taking a couple of mouthfuls, it had a strong taste, but it was good. He shook the bitterness out as he took few more mouthfuls. He looked to find someone that he met some time ago, Vigilante, was commenting her on her outfit. His feathered poncho dangled down to his knees. He wasn't complaining about anything.

The blind girl was surprised when her request for assistance was answered so quickly, by someone she did not know. When he took her by the hand, her half-folded ears flattened timidly as she followed behind the male. It was not in her nature to let people touch her without her first initiating the action. It just made her uncomfortable to suddenly be flooded by the sensations that the touch created. She was immediately aware of how this male's hands and fur felt, and she didn't even have a name to attach to these unique features. However, he was helping her, so that led the slightly timid girl to relax a bit.

Upon entering the cave, she heard Jac's voice again and she smiled in amusement. He certainly hadn't wasted any time in repeating one of his oldest rules to her, no alcohol of any kind. Once she was inside, the girl removed her hand gently from the male's grasp, "Thank you for the help. I'm Ruri...Ruri Aceline, Duchess of Cour des Miracles. It's a pleasure to meet you, Monseiur Von Rosnete," she finished, adding the French title to the male's surname. What little french she knew she had gleaned from her time with Jac and she knew monseiur was was the french way of saying sir, it just sounded prettier.

Now that the delicate optime was at the celebration, she wandered over towards Jac, wrapping her arms around him in a brief hug. "Don't drink too much, Jac. You'll get a headache tomorrow if you do," she warned, with a girlish laugh of amusement. She knew Jac would disregard her warning, but she had given it just the same. It was her duty as his friend to try and save him the discomfort of a hangover. She herself had never experienced one, due to her forced abstinence from alcohol, but from what she had learned from Jac she did not ever want to experience one.

ooc: Okay, so the unofficial order is to just let everybody post once and then I go again? :O

Siobhan shrank back, all but shielding herself completely behind Haven's back, and Jac couldn't help but laugh. His booming laughter rose above the low hubbub of the others exchanging greetings, before he composed himself enough to reply. "Well, it is indeed a very nice place, and I am glad that Siobhan likes it. I hope Siobhan stays here for a long time." He winked, playfully imitating her use of pronouns. It was cute, and she was cute, but Haven would never let them play together, just like he would not let others play with Ruri. The two girls should be friends, he decided, so that no men would get any ideas.

Speak of the devil, two thin fringed arms wrapped around his whipcord waist, and he snaked his one arm out to return the hug, clasping her slender shoulders tight. "If I get a headache, petite, I will simply wash it away with more drink. That is how it works," he explained jovially, moving to ruffle her ears atop her head. If her slate-grey mane was all frizzed up and she did not notice, she would go the whole night looking extra-fluffy and it would be funny. He couldn't conceal a telltale chuckle, though, and quickly slipped away, nabbing a swig from a flagon on the way. He caught Talon and Haven in the act as well, and raised his clay jug in cheers before tipping it back, dark whiskey sloshing all over his long muzzle. He was going to smell like a bar for a long time, after all the time he spent brewing and taste-testing.

Back at Svara's side, he found the same sour scent on her lips, and nudged his elbow at her ribs, smiling knowingly. "Going to let loose tonight, Constable?" He raised an eyebrow at Svara, who then offered him the name of the slender girl standing at the outskirts. Deciding not to make a "wing man" joke, he simply nodded in thanks and strode over to her, watching the firelight play on her long black mane and crystal-blue eyes. "It is mademoiselle Ayita, is it not? I am Jacquez Trouillefou, the king of this royal court. Come, join the fun - there is enough drink for everyone around the fire!" He kept his tone light, fringed ears flopping forward as he tilted his head to study her. She was one of the handful that Svara had admitted without him. Going by looks, he approved...

"We are so much alike"

Svara just nodded as the king went off to great Ayita. Parties were hard for her, she didn't fit in well with them, or large crowds. Sitting down in a clear area with her own liquor that she had no intention of giving to anyone she took a long gulp. It tasted good and was strong and it went down. Where was Leroy when she needed him? Her ex-mate was good for keeping her company when she was being anti-social. Looking at all of them she had a feeling that she was afraid to be around them. Afraid she wouldn't know how to fit in. It was stupid, but she was a girl after all, even when she acted so tough.

Taking another long drink she set the jug down next to her. Already the constable felt the affects of what she was doing. She figured half way through the large container she would be out. Of course she also remembered the last time she had gotten shit faced. Leroy found her in the woods, some sex, some vomitting, some passing out, some more sex. Was this really a good idea? Nope. Svara took another pull of liquor into her mouth. Watching them all speak to each other she wondered if she could some how blend into the background and get through this unnoticed. She didn't want to leave, it would hurt Jac she was sure of it. God she liked that stupid king to much.

OOC...Table by Erin, Ehh taking this from my french notes >.> From french three years ago trying to relearn french >.>

IC...

Ayita brushed the hair from her face looking at the fire. Everyone seemed to be gathering it was nice yet she felt out of sorts. Her eyes watched the wolves and other canines begin to talk and enjoy company. Maybe she should go and join Svara.

She was caught off guard as Vigilante came and asked her her name. She smiled looking at him. Her tank top and make shift skirt the compliment was nice. "Ayita." She said with a smile. He seemed so kind and he was rather handsome. She liked the fact he had enough confidence not to wear anything it said something about himself.

She didn't have a chance to say anymore before the king came over to the two. "Bonjour sa Majesté" She said giving a small bow. "It is very nice to meet you. I must decline on the drink I never before have had any." She said. "Have you been well?" she asked trying to strike up a bit of something hoping not to anger anyone.

She looked back and Vigilante and smiled a bit hoping he would stay and talk with her.

ooc- sorry, might be my last post before I leave :<

"It's, Strelein von Rosnete by the way. Have fun, miss." The redhead grinned at the blind female despite knowing she would not be able to see him do it. It was just a natural reaction and he couldn't exactly control it. Besides, frowning while he said something like that would make anyone looking think he meant it as a sarcastic joke. As Ruri moved off towards the King, Strel gave the man a quick bow with a cocky grin from a distance, preferring to let him deal with others. What he did look for was a free jug of the devil's drink.

Taking a jug of it, he stared at it as it swirled around the container. He was not sure how it would taste and how strong it was. Strelein had never heard of most alcohol and the only one he had tried was an old bottle of wine. So when he took a sip of it, he was surprised to feel it burning down his throat. Coughs escaped him as the stuff passed down into his belly. Warmth seemed to rise up from the alcohol and he grinned at the reaction. That was not so bad.

Before the drug could affect his actions too much, Strel gazed around, looking to chat someone up. Svara sat alone, seeming quite a bit out of the loop at the party. So the woman was not the life of the party. It was obvious that for all her attitude, she might not have the personality to be the most social butterfly out there. So Strelein grinned at her slipping down near her.

"Not going to join in the introductions?" The jug clanked on a flat rock, drops of the liquid inside sloshing out and dripping down. "'Ello Svara. Having fun?"

The king's booming laugh surprised her, as did many things these days, but she managed a smile and a nod before she went after Haven. She had never tried this stuff before, and was interested to see what it tasted like. She could see others around her partaking in the drink, so it must not be too bad tasting...the girl nodded and caught up to her knight, taking another jug in her small hands and lifting it when Haven said "cheers".

Immediately upon swallowing it she felt it, a hot, burning feeling in her throat. It made her cough, but it wasn't so bad after a few more drinks. She sat down with the jug in her lap, looking at Haven. "It's...good!" She had to drink this more often! A happy, drifty smile took a place on her face, and she swayed a little where she sat as she drank more and more of it.
