All welcome Big Grin

She'd awoken early that morning, shuffling her way out of her fathers den and into the still dark outside world. It was quiet, like usual, and because Rachias really didn't have any friends in Clouded Tears, she'd decided to go off and explore. The young hybrid girl wasn't all that worried about anyone bothering her, really, because who take the chance of having the fury of Clouded Tears and Inferni coming down on them? Even if Andre hated her, that didn't mean that the rest of her family did. Her father though, well, she hadn't really seen the other side of him lately and, for a very short moment, she doubted that this dominant side would really care if anyone got her.

It didn't take her long to make it out of Clouded Tears, stepping into the valley that she often heard called the Yawrah River valley. That, of course, meant that a good portion of the river was in this area, which was a good thing since Rachias was thirsty. She could have easily stopped for a drink in Clouded Tears but because it was so early it meant that the fog would have made it and difficult task and, along with the snow that caked the ground, it would be nearly impossible. Moving along the snowy ground, the caramel and cream colored girl didn't stop until she reached the edges of the river. By now the sun had risen slightly, casting a warm glow of pale light across the area.

Leaning down, Rachias was just about to open her mouth for a drink when something suddenly popped out of the water. It sent the child stumbling backwards, landing on her rear. Blue eyes widened as the creature came at her, dark and fuzzy, almost hopping at her. What in the world was it? It stopped then, just inches away from her, and Rachias couldn't find the strength to move. Suddenly it stuck its head out, pressed its face against her for only a few seconds, and then turned and made a dive for the water. Confused, Rachias bolted to her feet, running to the water's edge just as it disappeared beneath the surface. "Hey! Come back!"

indent Icarus bounded towards Yahraw, even though it was still very early in the morning. He had come to the conclusion that if he woke up earlier, he would have more time to play until his curfew was imposed. With that in mind, he had rolled out of bed earlier than any of his siblings and took off over the snow crusted grounds. The few spans of sun they had had helped to melt the snow some what, but even Icarus knew that more snow would soon be on its way. He marveled at the sunrise, as he crossed out of Storm’s territory and decided to pause only for a moment to catch the view of the oranges spilling over the horizon. With a satisfied grin, he took off towards the river. He was hoping he could lap up something to drink, or even find a good piece of ice to chew on. He had discovered icicles on some of the trees made good chew toys, but many of those were long gone.

indent The pup sniffed the air and enjoyed the rather stillness the day still portrayed. He knew, with the sun rising, animals of all sorts would soon rise and begin their daily activities. Even with that in mind, Icarus wasn’t expecting the caterwaul that came not too far off in the distance. With ears perked in interest, Icarus bounded off in the direction of the voice.

indent When he arrived, Icarus peered out from behind a tree to see a whelp just like himself. Looking around, he saw no one else around, and so decided to advance from behind his vantage point. "Hey", he called out with a grin. "Whatcha looking for?" He expected her to be fishing, but had no idea about the creature that had just paid her a visit.

Blue eyes were almost frantic as they searched the surface of the water, looking to pinpoint the location of the creature before it could leap out at her once more. If it was planning that at all, that was. Rachias was running over the event in her mind, trying to picture the thing so that it could be easily explained in the future. Surely her brother might have some interest in the mysterious creature that had 'attacked' her. Maybe he would even know what it was. Every ripple in the water caused her head to snap in that direction, ever searching, until the moment that the river was still.

It was about that moment that she heard the voice, which startled her and caused her to spin around to face the direction it came from. She was halfway expecting it to be the creature that had popped out of the river to begin with, though she hadn't expected it to be able to talk. When eyes settled on him, she realized that it was another wolf, though she often didn't know what to consider herself, and that he was about the same age. Normally, Rachias would be immediately suspicious, it could be someone that knew her brother and was trying to trick her or hurt her, but after what had just happened she wasn't thinking that at all.

"I don't know!" She exclaimed, turning halfway back to the water. "Some thing popped out of the river and..and kissed me!" However odd that may have sounded, it was what it had seemed like. "And then it jumped back in and disappeared!" Certainly she sounded like some sort of raving lunatic.

indent Icarus raised a brow at the girl’s allegation. Something kissed her? He giggled to himself softly, before walking closer towards her and the river. "Oh really?" He asked her, smiling all the while. He couldn’t imagine what type of animal would want to kiss a wolf (especially a girl – cooties!) and he knew that certainly a fish couldn’t kiss. They didn’t have lips! He came to rest a few feet to her side, and he peered down at the water as well. "I don’t see nothing", he replied.

indent He could see a little bit of what was underneath the water, but not much was visible in relation to the mysterious kiss stealer. He looked towards Rachias with his brow raised once more. "Are you sure? You know… that it kissed you?" Really, Icarus was rather dumbfounded by the appearance of a wolf-kissing fish.
