But there were different plans

asha & shae! Yay.

The sun broke through thick clouds, letting streams of light and warmth gown to the wet ground. Violet eyes looked up at the sight, a smile hovering over her mouth at the peeking blue sky that could be seen only if she looked hard enough. The rain would start again, the girl was sure of it. Walking in her two-legged form, a bag over her shoulder and across her chest and large brown paws walking heavily over the wet grass. The weather was one thing, the rain coming and going in torrents. Even as the thought passed through her mind, I wonder when it will start again, she felt fat drops bounce off her head and shoulders.

Trying to ignore the poor weather, Mati Church had decided to take a walk. The not so far trip westward towards the lands of Aniwaya was her objective. What she was looking for exactly was still unknown, but she had an idea in mind. Leaving her drawing supplies at home the novice artist just wanted to see one up close. The girl was sure that a few packs had a some running about, and not ready to see her brothers new home yet Mati had decided to venture to the tribe lands to stalk horses. A painting had already begun, but the composition was not complete without the main subject. The hoofed creature’s anatomy was eluding her creative eye.

Of course the girl looked left to right as she entered the broken fence. She didn’t exactly want to be found trespassing, at least not this early in exploration. Though the makeshift gate and the milk chocolate furred female walked slowly and looking as unsuspicious as she possibly could. Though her large stature made it hard for the young woman to go unnoticed. Still Mati could not help but let a small smile touch the corners of her mouth. She was being brave, venturing out so far from home.

Super, super sorry for my delay of things. I'm back now, so this should be moving swiftly. 400+

If it was anything that expressed certain delightful pleasures in the world, Asha Amara had to say that she loved the mid-summer rains, or the monsoon season that moved in within the summer months. There was just something about it that was so invigorating, not to mention exciting. The smell of fresh rain and moisture was one that the red-wolf enjoyed to smell, and to hear the majestic sounds of thunder roll in the sky, coupled with the bright flashes of lightning, it was movement of mother nature put into fabulous motion all at once. The whipping winds, the torrent of rain, everything to stimulate the five senses happened.

With her soft amber gaze peering to the clouded skies overhead, she wished and hoped to the Spirit Guide gods that they would permit some rain for the time being. Especially in the fact that their harvesting grounds needed watering, it would certainly be of a great help to the Tribe as a whole if rain could come and offer its gift of water for later nourishment and flourishing to their soils. There would be no need for the Amara woman to remain confined in the dry and dark corners of her cabin; she embraced this rainy season, and wished to be a part of such. Her equine, however, was not entirely entitled to share such a same passion, but would be tolerant of such. Aidan remained outside her cabin a couple feet away, grazing in the tall grasses of her house. Asha set off down a dusty path of the Tribe lands, her destination unknown, but figured would pay a visit down by the village to see if anyone else would be interested in having a little "rain dance" per se.

It seemed as if she would find company soon enough, however, as her gaze traveled to the far broken fence borders, there was a figure walking toward the lands. Stopping for a moment, her eyes scutinized the individual, not seeing such a presence before, no recognizing the scent that it carried with it. Seeing that these differences were usually uncommon to see in the Tribe lands, Asha made no hesitation to stroll on over to the approaching individual. Her tail behind her flicked, as one arm was extended in a wave. "Greetings there!" She called out at first. "Beautiful weather today, isn't it?" Her icebreaker to this encounter opened with a casual statement.

yayyyy!

The further Mati moved into the territory the more comfortable she became. She had felt the urge to turn and look back to the open from which she entered, but as the paw-steps passed her confidence grew. With a childish grin the young woman fished something from her bag. It took a moment but she was able to find him beside the small sketchbook and handle the small creature without poking her hand. Holding the small pin-cushioned beast Mati let his small black eyes scan the landscape as she did. It wasn’t right to bring her friend all this way and not let him see the sights.

They were not alone long, and the girl was not surprise to be found so quickly. But the woman that approached did not find her presence a problem. The Dreamer slowed, and stopped as the female moved close, smiling gently at the friendly gesture. “Hello” she responded, giving a broader smile and relaxing as she answered. “Of course.” Mati was not sure if the other was being sarcastic, or truthful with her question but she responded all the same as she looked to the clouded sky.

“I’m Mati, from Crimson Dreams” speaking as she let her eyes return to the crimson accented fey. It was only proper that she introduce herself, being the one that was trespassing and all.

AniWaya rarely obtained visitors, it seemed. The tribe was rather tight-knit and not too many of the outsiders really knew about the customs and traditions that lied hidden within. However, Asha as much as anyone else in the tribe were just as willing to share their culture and individuals with the rest of the 'Souls region. To Asha, visitation of the tribal lands was encouraged greatly.

Seeing that this opposite woman was just exploring and perhaps curious to what was here, Asha didn't see her as an immediate threat to the tribelands whatsoever. Giving her name as Mati Church from Crimson Dreams, her ears flicked at the pack name. "Crimson Dreams? I know Savina from there." She commented, reminiscing that day the two met at Blackmor Castle. "Mati? I'm Asha Amara, the Ayastigi, or warrior here at AniWaya. Welcome to the tribe lands." She said with a satisfied smirk. It was then her eyes strayed to what Mati was holding, curious as to what it was. "What you got there?"

Maybe it was the poor weather, in her eyes, that kept pack wolves in their homes. Mati knew that she would keep to her room in such days of gloom. Or play with the pups, or just sit on the porch and just watch the rain. Maybe it was her contentment among the wolves she called family that allowed her to just stay put and not wander. Today was different though, she had a plan, or did. But the newfound warrior had detoured Mati from that plan, and she didn’t mind at all.

She was relieved that this wolfess did not find her as a threat, or ask her to leave. When she spoke of Mati’s adopted aunt she smiled. She surly wouldn’t send her away if she was a friend of Savina. “A pleasure to meet you Asha.” She said politely, her smile softening as the woman asked of Ambrose. The brown hued female had almost forgotten that he sat in her palm. “oh.” She spoke with a little ting of surprise. “This is Ambrose. He’s a hedgehog.” Of course the little creature did not need very much explanation towards his species, but maybe towards the seat he held upon her hand.

The little creature that hailed from the Cottontail Valley just beyond her pack’s mansion only looked towards the other wolf. Mati gave a small shrug. “He wanted to see a horse too... I heard you had some.” There were none in the Shiloh Hills of around their hare lake, making them a wonder for the young woman.
