DaVinci had been avoiding the world for the most part. There was little in the world that brought joy to him anymore and what there was was slowly being stolen from his life. The silvery grey male had become paranoid on the way fate had been cutting him a raw deal and he believed soon the worst would taken place, how and what was the thing that worried him for the moment. He felt a shiver travel down his spine as he looked over his shoulder, as though he was expecting death to be looming and counting down the seconds on his watch. Lucky, for this moment there was no one behind him but a small mouse sitting under a pale flower nibbling away on a seed.

DaVinci gave a sharp bark and watched as the small creature made it's way off and probably to a safer location. If he couldn't be happy and free of suspect then he wanted nothing to be. The male finally settled down on the edge of the stream that he'd been following and just stared down into the waters below, the warped and rippled face that looked back at him seemed to belong to a ghost, not the man he knew.
