Rendall's day had started out well, she had accidently skipped breakfast, but after Pendzez's lesson she had rushed home to eat something, after that she decided to practice up on some hunting techniques, and was now terrorizing the local bug population. A praying mantis, which had been her latest victim was squirming under the pups paw

She giggled and let it go to pursue a butterfly, she hopped and pranced around trying to get it but failed, after about half an hour she decided that to leave it alone and attack another helpless buggy victim. A grasshopper this time she croutched down and lunged for the little green insect but found herself screaming instead.

She practically landed on the cougar and scrambled to get away, had the pup been paying any attention she would have smelled the big cat long before she had even come near it. A blood curdling scream ruptured through the air as the cougar swiped at her with its giant paws, Rendall ran as fast as she could but knew that her legs wouldnt hold out much longer.

The cougar trailed her through the field, using its muscular legs to its advantage. it had poor little rendall in its sight and with one mighty paw threw the pup into the bushes, Rendall squealed in pain and looked down at her hind leg, it was covered in blood and the smell made her sick, she looked in between the leaves and saw the monster bending down for good leap at her. seh tried to stand but her leg would not move, she moaned and tried to crawl to the roots of a tree

The cougar caught sight of the little blue wolf and lunged for her , as it came down it could feel her fur within its jaws but it was soon replaced with bark, the cat screamed in anger and and began ripping the roots out from under the tree itself , rendall had barely escaped but had now lost concious due to blood loss, the couger clawed its way closer and closer to her with its only intent on killing the little pup.

Ty was nearby when he heard the scream, he knew that voice, yet he couldn't place it right now. However, that didn't mean he wouldn't spring to their aid, after all, Ty almost always helped a person in need, and this was no exception. Now in wolf form, he rushed toward the scream, to which he heard the roar of a familiar creature, something deadly and fierce.

A mountain lion, he immediately knew the danger the person was in, pumas were deadly and vicious when out on their own, and from the sound of it, she had definitely startled the creature. Bounding through the woods, he used every bit of strength and quickness he had to try and catch up to the situation, with each passing second this person could die, Pumas weren't known for toying with food, they were known for killing them.

When Ty did catch up to the action, he saw a pup, one he fondly remembered, Rendall to be exact, and the puma. He could see that the creature had already wounded the poor pup, and was getting ready for the final strike, which would end the poor pup's right. Without a second of hesitation, Ty leaped into action, fangs and claws ready for battle. If it was something Ty was good at, it was fighting, and he would use that here to defend someone he thought of as family. The puma turned to find Ty lunging right for it, and could barely prepare itself before Ty collided with the creature, sending both of them hurdling away from the pup. The mass of the two creatures went tumbling a few feet away, with Ty having a firm grip of the beast's chest in between his teeth, in which he began to pull away as the chest using his claws as leverage, he could hear the beast screaming and hissing as he yanked on the soft flesh. However, he could feel the beast's lethal claws digging into his back and sides, trying to push him away, sending fur and blood scattering. Eventually, the puma used enough strength to push Ty away, sending him rolling back to face off with the puma as it rose for another go.

During this face off, Ty shouted out to Rendall "Rendall, get away from here!" He said before charging the Puma again, aiming for the throat, he could see that the beast was going to do the same. Both beasts again clashed in a mass of teeth and claws, gnawing, biting, raking at each other. This time it was Ty who pulled away, even though he was small enough to have avoided most of the Puma's claw strikes, he didn't want to keep up the force-meets-force with the puma.. Ty had already dealt a devastating blow to the puma with the chest bite, and it was already slowing down along with the other wounds Ty had dealt the beast. As for Ty, he had been scratched and clawed on his back and sides by the beast's frantic movements to push Ty away. Ty knew those would scar, but he wouldn't back down an inch Ty was squaring off with the beast so he could use the terrain to his advantage, being lighter and quicker, he could outmaneuver the large cat, ad he would use that to his advantage.

Xeris hadn't meant to come across this odd scuffle, but she too had been near the area and upon hearing it was suddenly worried about what was going on. Her eyes widened when she saw poor Rendall lying on the ground, and she looked over at Ty who was fighting her attacker. She was suddenly in a state of panic. What should she do? Should she go get help? She didn't want to leave the two alone in such danger, but she didn't know what she could do to help right now. Thinking quickly, she shifted to optime form and knelt down beside Rendall.

"Ty!" she cried to him as she lifted the injured pup into her arms. "I've got Rendall, I'm going to see if I can help her!" Cradling the pup in her arms, she looked around for something that she could use to bandage her wounds. But she wasn't a doctor or a healer, she didn't have much experience. Her heart was pounding; if Xeris screwed up, it could cost the Rendall her life and the white wolf would never forgive herself.

She looked around and noticed a small puddle of water from a recent rainfall; carefully she dipped her hands into it and began to wash her friend's wounds. There were several large gashes on Rendall's leg from the cat's teeth; they were still bleeding a little. She had to find something to stop the bleeding. In a rush, she reached over and grabbed some leaves from a nearby bush, which she pressed against the small pup's fur. Xeris didn't know what else to do. If this didn't work, it would be all over for Rendall. Xeris felt tears come to her golden eyes as she put as much pressure against the wound as possible, praying that the little pup would be all right...

Pendzez had been wondering around recently after his little teaching lesson with Rendall. He saw that the pup held inner potential in hunting, but in due time, she will get better at it and won't let anyone down in the next pack hunt. Maybe not a hunter, maybe a border warren or scout. He didn't what, but maybe she could be one of those if she chooses to. Maybe even somethin different.

He was just passing by until a scent came to his nose. It wasn't of a wolf, but of blood. The blood scent led to Rendall, bleeding from wounds that seem to be inflicted by a fierce animal. He rushed towards, stopping by her side and near Xeris. His heart pounded with panic as he reached for his herb bag. "What happened!?" Taking some herbs, he put them in his mouth and chewed the. He spat them out into his hand. "Wolf saliva helps activate the healing nature of the herbs." He steadied the wounded areas that the pup was inflicted. "This is gonna sting a little." He wiped the herbs over the bleeding areas.

Xeris looked up and was slightly surprised to see Pendzez; however, she was relieved that someone else had come to help. "Oh, Pendzez..." Xeris said through her sobs, "There was a mountain lion, and Ty's off trying to fight it, and I don't want them to die, Pendzez, I don't want them to die!" She was trying her best to keep something of a decent composure, but couldn't. Her heart was racing, the tears were streaming down her face, and she was full-out panicking.

She took several deep breaths as Pendzez began to rub the herbs over Rendall's wounds. The herbs will heal her, Xeris thought. It'll be okay. It'll be okay... Her body was shaking. She looked across the field for signs of Ty and the mountain lion but couldn't see either of them. "Wh...what about Ty?" she asked. "Pendzez, what are we going to do?" She looked at him desperately, hoping that he could help; he was much more knowledgeable than Xeris was and she felt somewhat safer being around him, but now she was too worried about Rendall and Ty...

Ty was relieved to see that Rendall was taken away from the fight between him and the lion, now he knew there was nothing else to concentrate on then the lion itself, which was now very volatile and infuriated by Ty's interference. both combatants were bloodied and beaten, panting heavily as they squared off, their blood gushing from their wonds. Ty could taste the cougar's blood on his tongue, a bitter, yet tantalizing flavor. He could see on it's face that it was not going to back down or run away, it was out for blood. It was either him or the lion, and Ty had too much to live for to die by this creature's claw, so he had to think of a way to beat it. The cat, by nature's law, was bigger and stronger then Ty, no matter how much Ty worked at it, the puma was just made bigger then him, but Ty had cunning and experience on his side. Ty had a reputation of being a crafty fighter, which was why he was so good at it, he just needed an opportunity.

However, Ty was too busy in thought to notice when the puma suddenly lashed out at Ty with a large and heavy strike of it's paw, slamming Ty across the face. the claws of the beast didn't get a good hold, in fact, they only lightly scratched Ty's face to do minimal damage, but the whole strike disoriented Ty and sent him stumbling back. But that gave him the opportunity he needed, as he stumbled back, he noticed a very large and thick tree, which he would use to his advantage. He thought of another plan to undo the creature, and ultimatly kill it, but he had to act fast. Turning to the beast, he knew it would adavance on him, and now it was making a pass for his throat with another claw strike. Ty quickly attempted to roll out of the way, but he felt the puma's claws bite into his side, tearing a vicious line across his ribs and shoulder, maing him wince in pain as he felt more of his warm blood drip down his side. He backed away from the puma, limping from the last strike, making sure he got in position between the tree and the Puma, now preparing to enact his strategy, he prayed it would work, or he'd surely become the cougar's meal.

He suddenly began to snarl and bark at the puma, taunting it, egging it on to continue attacking. Now even more infuriated then before, the mountain lion responded with another heavy claw strike at Ty, who quickly jumped back to avoid the next few strikes the beast made. He was playing possum, maneuvering the creature into a spot he wanted. Eventually he found himself backed up against the tree, with apparently nowhere else to go. The puma, thinking it had one, began to crouch down for the killing blow, intending to pounce on Ty and overwhelm him with it's claws and teeth. But that would be it's undoing, Ty could read it's muscle movements, knowing it would leap at him, thinking Ty weaken and defenseless, but as the beast leaped at Ty to deal the final blow, Ty revealed that he had a trick up his leave. Reacting with expert precision and timing, he darted under the puma's leap, getting underneath the beast, and shifted into his optime form, taking advantage of the fact that he would have to stand up when he shifted. As he shifted, he pushed up on the puma in mid-air, using it's own momentum to fling the beast through the air into the tree behind him. The surprised mountain lion felt it's body fly through the air and crash into the tree with a wicked 'thud'. It slid down the trunk, dazed and temporarily incapacitated, it's spine was most likely lightly cracked along was quite a few broken ribs. At this moment Ty changed back into wolf form and pounced on the baffled beast, landing on it's back and beginning to scratch and tear at it's back. His teeth sinking into the back as his claws continued to rip off chunks of the puma's back, blood and fur going every which way, soaking into the ground and turning it red.

However, the cougar was not done yet, as Ty tore away at it's back, it suddenly turned it's head and caught Ty's front leg in it's teeth, making the young wolf howl in pain as he felt the horrid incisors sink into his flesh, rubbing against the bone. Being much stronger then Ty, the mountain lion used all of the strength in it's neck to pull Ty off of it, now sending Ty crashing into the tree trunk. He felt at least one rib crack, if not more, along with the wind being temporarily knocked out of his lungs. As he gasped for air, he felt that the puma had not let go of his leg, now attempting to tear at it, and sending one foul claw into his chest, sending a spurt of blood against the cougar's fur. Ty knew that if he continued to let this beast have a hold of his leg, it would remove it as a useful appendage, so Ty had to act quickly for the sake of his leg. Taking his free claw, he swung with ferocity as he sliced the cougar right across the face, raking it's eyes, blinding it. The puma lurched back, letting go of Ty's paw, as it screeched in pain from the scratch, placing one paw over it's now bleeding eyes, disoriented and in severe pain. Ty had this one chance to stop the cougar, his leg now stinging from the bite as he got back to his feet, his muscles crying out to stop. But Ty couldn't stop, not yet, this was the last attempt he would have. With everything he had left, he launched himself at the cougar, tackling it and pushing it to the ground. The disoriented beast was helpless now, and Ty launched his head forward into the mountain lion's throat.

It almost seemed surreal when Ty felt the puma's soft flesh in between his teeth, his fangs sinking right into the trachea. He hadn't expected the mountain lion to let him finish it, but he guessed it really didn't have a defense. The puma now was making gurgling noises, it's warm breath passing along Ty's body, yet slowing down. The puma knew it had been beat, the blood now drowning it's lungs, and with it's one good eye looked up to Ty with what Ty could only read as respect, an acknowledgment of Ty's skill and talent. With one final gurgling breath, the cougar's chest came to a stop, the live leaving it's body as it's eyes closed one final time. A few seconds passed, Ty eased up on the puma's throat and eventually let go. Pulling away to see his now fallen opponent. His mind was lost somewhere between bloodlust and sadness, the adrenaline still pumping through his veins, the mountain lion's blood still sitting in Ty's mouth, he could taste it. He felt overjoyed that he had won over his foe, prideful of his victory. But at the same time, he was upset and sad that he had to kill such a beautiful creature, even in death, he saw it's grace and beauty, it saddened him greatly.

He began to favor only three of his legs, while his wounded leg wasn't permanently damaged, it was still devastated beyond standing on it right now. Ty felt his body become heavy with the tires of the fight, the blood from the scratches on his face, back, and chest were now slowly stopping in their bleeding. He had become a mix of orange-gold and red fur, drenched in both the cougar's blood and his own. Suddenly, he stood on all fours and threw his head up in victory, unleashing a hellish howl across the winds, telling all those in Pheonix Valley who had won this fight. It was filled both with a warrior's pride and anguish, echoing across the land. He then limped over to the tree and laid down, now resting from his ordeal. He wouldn't make it far without a bit of rest, so it was imperative he rested now.

All she could feel was pain, searing pain and then complete numbness took over the pups frail body, she tried to fight it all, but the pain came back to her, she tried to raise her weakened body to look up and see Ty, he had called her name and was telling her something, but she was too weak to understand it. She tried her best to listen to him to hear what he had told her, but soon even his voice had died and it was all silent.

Silent darkness it seemed like it was all she ever new, like she had just fallen down into a current, it seemed to pull her further and further down, surrounding her, soffocating her, however she didnt have the strength to fight it almost seemed like she wanted to let this happen, to surcumb to the blackness, but suddenly she heard weeping, and talking, was that Xeris?

She fought now, against the blackness but it only seemed to pull her even harder now, she screamed and tried to fight it again. suddenly she felt pain again, she practically weeped with relief, until she heard Pendzez say that something would sting, and then it felt as though someone stuck her leg in a fire, the flames licked at her muscles and traveled quickly through her viens, she squealed and screamed in pain only this time it was much louder and

Suddenly everything came to her in a rush she looked around but everything seemed so blurry she looked around Pendzez held her crumpled body in his arms and Xeris looked at her with hopeful eyes, but what were all these other wolves doing around them? She saw Xeris's mouth moving but she couldnt hear her words, was she talking to the other wolves? She seemed to have her attention on Pendzez, did they even see the other wolves,

"Who..Who are you? all of you?" but the wolves remaind silent, four of them who were unusually larger than the rest, smiled at her and turned and looked at the others, suddenly Rendall reconized another wolf make her way through the small crowd as if called by the four wolves, her own mother was now looking down at her "Hello my darling, i hope you are doing well, i miss you." She had the most beautiful voice, the mother she knew had a broken voice due to an injury as a cub, however her voice was light and full of music.

Rendall squirmed and tried to get up. "mo...mom? wait i want to go with you." She tried to fight Pendzez's iron grip "I'm afraid you cant my dear, you are needed here, each person of your new family have a destiny to fill, and you are to witness that. i love you, good bye my dear, i will be watching over you..always." Her voice faded and the pup squealed again, the fire had returned her whole world came to life, voices everywhere Rendall was overwhelmed and fainted once more, but as her world began to darken once more, she saw that where the wolves once stood, butterflies fluttered around watching carefully....

Anya smelled the blood, so strong in her nostrils. She smelled the blood of the puma, but that blood was dying now. It didn't force the bloodlust upon her. The other blood smelled like Rendall....and Ty. Her breathing sped up, and she ran for them. She knew the area's herbs fairly well, and she could tell from Rendall's screams that someone was working on healing her. But Ty was still injured.

She burst into the clearing, seeing a male that she did not recognize working on fixing up Rendall. Xeris was also there, Anya noted, watching worriedly as the pup screamed in pain. Now she just looked frantically around for Ty.

The sight of the dead puma sent her into a brief flashback, one of an encounter that Malaki and she had had when they were pups. The loner shaman had come along and found them after the puma attack. Malaki was more injured than she was; he had thrown himself in front of her and distracted the puma.

The flashback ended soon enough, and Anya sighed in reief. Those flashbacks were still extremely hard to take, but she had to forget them for the time being and find Ty to help him.

Pendzez looked over to Ty who was leaning on a tree. He seemed to be be injured. The white wolf didn't know how bad it was. He hoped there was enough herbs to help heal Ty's injuries. He looked to Xeris, giving her the pouch of herbs. "Take these to Ty. Chew on them then spit them out. The saliva will activate the herb's healing nature." He looked at the pup. She received enough to help her wounds heal up nicely. However, the herbs wouldn't stung that much, making her scream like that. The Herbs were potent, but not screamingly potent.

It was then that Pendzez facing a problem which that he hoped wouldn't happen, not now. Her spirit was beginning to leave the body. He heard her say about her mother. He placed his hand on her chest, which was a thing used to keep the spirit inside the body. It wasn't her time yet. She needed to stay where she is needed and belongs, til it is her time to cross over. He looked up. He saw them that were with her. Pendzez, could see them if she wished too, since he is known as the Higher Spirit. He watched them and Rendall, whispering in Japanese an old chant that held the spirits in the body while hold Rendall in his arms.

Rendall amungst the darkness once more tried to relax, her frail body in the hands of Pendzez, she tried to focus on that though the tugging feeling was back, it seemed now that shewas being held in place, something or someone was holding on to her not just her body but her soul as well, Pendzezs voice seemed like it was right beside her, saying words in a language she never heard before.

though the darkness tugged at her limbs it seemed that she was just out of its reach. the burning had slowly subsided to a sting in her leg though she still couldnt move it, the puma in its anger probably snapped the bone like a tooth pick, she wanted to tell Pendzez but was still weak from the fight. it seemed like forever before she finally gained concious once more.

Everything looked the same as before, except Xeris was gone, the pup was stilled cradled in the big nobles arms and she could here talking. "Pendzez?" she said weakly, " Where...where is Xeris? and...and Ty...where is Ty?" she was practically studdering the pup was shaking so badly, she felt cold so she nuzzled the males chest and tried to curl up as much as she could but his hand was still on her chest.

She tried then to look around the sun gleamed off her blood stained highlights, small herbs were around her on the ground and the white wolfs arms hands and muzzle were stained lightly with blood, she touched his hand it was warmer than she remembered but she probably lost a few degrees in her fight.

Anya gasped as she finally caight sight of Ty and his injuries. He was favoring his front leg, and she could see the blood streaming down it. It also looked like his breathing was slightly impaired, implying a possible broken rib, but she would have to brush up against him to tell. Anya saw the unknown male hand Xeris an almost familiar pouch of herbs. The shaman who had rescued Malaki and herself had carried a pouch of that design and size.

"XERIS! Wait! Wait for me!" Anya bolted for the poor distraught female, probably scaring her out of her wits. But it was imperative that Ty's inner injuries healed as well as the outer. Anya knew that the herbs would help with the outer wounds, but she also knew that she would need Xeris's help to make a comfry poultice for Ty's foreleg.

Anya stopped in front of the male, pausing to lick Rendall's head worriedly, but knowing that Rendall was safe, Anya nodded to the male and turned for Ty. Introductions could come later.

Xeris took the bag from Pendzez in her shaking hands. She stood up and began to race toward Ty. The white wolf stopped, however, when she heard Anya call her name. Somewhat surprised to see the other wolf, Xeris stopped and turned to the other. "Anya! Come on, we have to help him!" She felt a little more confident about helping her friend now that she had Anya to help her.

When she reached Ty, she looked him over. He was quite a mess, bleeding in many places. Xeris looked to the bag that Pendzez had given her and took some of the herbs from it. "I hope this'll work, Ty," she murmured as she took out some herbs and put them in her mouth. They had an odd taste, a taste that she'd never experienced before, but that was beside the point. She spat them onto her hand and began to rub them across the male's wounds. "Pendzez said this might sting," she said softly to Ty as she placed her fingers against his bloodied fur.

Anya ran up to Ty and Xeris, glancing around for some comfry. Luckily, Ty was sitting in a patch of it.

"Xeris, do you want to work on his scratches while I try to figure out if he fractured anything?" From the way Ty was grimacing as he breathed, Anya figured he had a fractured rib, at the least. She brushed up against him, gently, trying to cause as little pain as possible. Anya knew that the ribs would have to be bound, for safety's sake, and a poultice applied to his paw, but she would need Xeris's help.

"Damn, I wish I was luperci at a time like this. Hands, or something close to them, would be absolutely divine right about now." Anya muttered to herself, not particularly caring if the others overheard her.

"Guys, guys, relax, don't be so anxious...I'm fine..." Ty said with a weary smile as the others began to work on his wounds, still keeping that carefree attitude that he was so good at. "It's just a few scrapes and bumps, the puma didn't do anything permanent...." He chuckled, then winced lightly as he felt the throbbing pain in his ribs. He was injured fairly badly, but through it all he still kept a weak smirk on his face, not wanting to worry the other wolves, he had actually somewhat enjoyed the feel of battle again, somewhere deep down in his system.

He felt Anya brush up against him and winced again, feeling her press against the cracked rib. Following that he felt the small sting of Xeris' herbs against his still bleeding wounds. "Ow...hey...are you two trying to heal me or injure me more?" He said with a weak laugh, cracking a joke to try and calm the nerves a bit. This wasn't a new scene to him, having his wounds healed by a group of people, but he bet the others weren't so used to this, judging by the panicked looks. Keeping a calm head, he slwoly picked up his head and looked to Xeris. His vision slightly blurred by the exhaustion now setting in, but he still had conciousness, which was good, even though a lot of blood was lost, consciousness was always a good sign.

"How's Rendall? She safe?" He asked Xeris in a quiet, yet friendly voice, blood still slipping out of the slice on his face. His other wounds weren't bleeding as much anymore, the herbs were sinking in now, but he'd surely have a few scars from this. He calmly waited for her response, not breaking down, not panicking, just keeping a cool head, a sure sign of Ty's toughness, he was just a little over one year old, but already a seasoned fighter.

He overheard Anya saying something about wanting to be a luperci, which set off a light in Ty's head. That's probably why she was asking how to become one just a few days ago. Giving another weak chuckle, he responded jokingly "Come a little closer and I'll scratch you across the face." He then laughed again and turned to Xeris, still waiting on her response.

"Oh, Ty, I'm just glad you're alive!" Xeris responded. Her voice was still breaking a little, she was frightened by everything that had happened. "Sorry about the herbs, I've never used this kind of thing before but Pendzez told me to..." She continued to spread the chewed herbs across his wounds, relaxing a little as they mostly had stopped bleeding. "Yeah, I think Rendall's okay, Pendzez is taking care of her."

"Anya, do you want me to help you?" she asked, turning to the other female. "I don't know a whole lot about healing but I'll gladly help you out." She chose to ignore Ty's remark about turning Anya into a Luperci. The white wolf knew it was wrong to make light of such a situation as she'd been badly injured by a Luperci at one point too, but she disregarded it for now as Ty was in no shape to be scolded.

Xeris was still shaking; the whole incident had frightened her badly. In a tiny corner of her mind she feared that she was going to be seen as a total weakling, too terrified of everything. But she pushed that thought away for now as she bent down over Ty's wounds once more.

Anya looked up as Ty winced again. "Sorry, I just need to know where your rib is fractured, and how many. I'm guessing your wrist might be fractured too." Anya nodded at Xeris.

"Are you finished with the scratches on his back and sides?" Anya began to gather some herbs at Ty's feet. "We need to chew several of these leaves up and try to wrap them as best we can around his paw. I'm warning you though, Ty." Anya smiled to show that she was kidding. "If you snarl, I don't care if you ARE DaVinci's son, I'll snarl right back. It'll hurt a little when we wrap your paw."

As she spoke, Anya began to gather and mix the herbs. There was comfry and yarrow, both good herbs for healing, as yarrow would take the infection away and ease the itch of healing, while the comfry would speed the healing process.
#17
My wrist isn't fractured, I was able to loosen the cougar's grip on it before it did broke anything, it's just cut up..." Ty said, like he had this done before. "And don't worry about me snarling....I'll do my best to let the pain pass. Even so, I don't expect anything less, who my father is doesn't mean you treat me any different."

He then plopped his head down as Xeris said that Rendall was okay, and he gave a small caring grin. "Good....I'm glad to know she's alright..." He said, shifting his glance to the dead carcass that was once the puma. He sighed lightly, wondering where that creature had come from, and why it got so close to a wolf pack? It must've been hungry, looking for stray pups like Rendall. Ty was lucky to be in the area when he was, or Rendall might have been it's meal.

Ty then shut his eyes and waited for the sting when they put his paw in the herbs. He didn't want to lose consciousness either, so he did murmur. "Hey, I'm going to need water...where is the nearest stream?"
#18
Anya smiled at his reply about snarling. So gentlemanly, was he. Even when in pain. SHe wondered how he knew about his wrist not being fractured, but the herbs would still help to heal it quickly. Anya also wondered how he knew that snarling wasn't going to help his matter, but then she realized that was a dummy question. He knew how to take care of himself fairly well, even with all the scars, it looked like.

"I think from the smell that there is a stream just barely south of here. Seems to be pretty popular with the deer, but that isn't a major hardship." Anya looked up from her work. "How does your paw feel now?"
Now Anya just needed to figure out a way to wrap his ribs.

Pendzez looked down at the pup as she was nuzzling into his chest and tried to curl up in his arms. He removed the hand from her chest, since her soul was still in her body and that she was still alive. He moved his blood stained arms around to make his right hand to hold her head to his chest and her left hand to hold her arm. He looked away as he was in shame. A guardian to the pup, but he let her almost get killed. Why? Why did Jefferson even gave him the job? What was the cyclops thinking? "They're fine."

It was then that they needed to go to the stream. Pendzez needed to get the blood off his fur. It was sickening him by keeping it on. He stood up, lifting Rendall up in his arms. She wasn't heavy. Being a pup, she was light. He turned to start walking to where Xeris went to check on Ty. He came to them, where the white male saw another wolf which helped Xeris with Ty. "Rendall is fine."

Rendall never knew her father, but to her, Pendzez was the closest thing to it, she didnt want to leave his arms, even his sent was comforting to her, he saved her life, him and Xeris she relaxed in his arms as he got up and carried her over to where the others were, she gasp when she saw Ty, he looked as bad iof not worse than Rendall did.

"Ty, are....are you alright?" the pup was still stuttering, it annoyed her that she was still shaking so badly, she looked over to where the remains of what had been a puma. the monster had practically killed her, her hairs stood on thier ends at the thought. she tried to not think about all that and turned her attention to the others, Rendall didnt notice when Anya had come in, but she was still glad that she was there, by the looks of it all, Ty wouldnt have been here if it werent for the two females

Rendall did her best to smile despite all that had happened, and dispite how much the pup probably looked, broken and bloody in Pendzezs' arms. she looked at Xeris and Anya "Are you guys ok? the puma... didnt get anone else did it?" She was still going over what had happened in her mind, if only she had payed more attention to where she was and what she was doing she probably wouldnt be in this predicament. She tried to relax and laid her head back onto Pendzez's chest as they headed towards a stream
