Firefly had grown bored with wandering the packlands lately and as the chilly rains had settled in she'd kept to stalking about her shack, realizing that sooner or later she'd have to abandon the den by the beach for another location. The weather soon would turn and she didn't feel like waking up with snow in the rooms. She sighed at the thought as she sat on her porch watching the rain batter on the shore. The rattle on the tin roof made her ears flicker back and forth as she tried to figure out just what she was going to do.
She stretched her long legs out before her as she crossed her arms behind her head, finally closing her eyes for a moment to block out the image of the grey stormy sea. She didn't really like the changing from fall to winter and she knew soon enough the white season would be upon them but for now it was the dreary grey. She frowned as she finally decided that she wasn't going to leave her home.. she just had to figure out how to fix it. She really didn't want a door on the building but she didn't want snow to pile up inside either. She'd have to go pester Leroy sooner or later to see if he would assist her, or even better yet just do all the work.
She smiled at the idea and chuckled, opening her eyes a crack to view the dull world about her before just sighing and closing them once more. If anyone really demanded her attention they would come to her, she could wait. It wasn't like she had anything better to do.
