So Svara had finally shown her face again. Firefly really wasn't sure what she thought of it. She didn't really care that the woman was back she just wished the bitch would get over her high and mighty beliefs. Firefly had left but she'd returned, just lke Svara had. It had taken the golden woman a little longer than she intended to figure out just where she belonged but now that she'd done that she didn't plan on going anywhere. She flicked her ears back and frowned, wondering when the girl was going to appear out of nowhere like she always had in the past. She was long overdue as it was and Firefly really didn't like surprises.

The Sadira woman sat on the dock in their little city and stared out at the sea. The gulls were crying above as they dove in and out of the cold waters in search of food. Firefly shook her head, wondering how the birds could stand the chilly waters. Just once more she dipped her toes in the water but quickly brought them back out as she flicked the droplets from her fur. It was defineately not something she wanted to do right now. Maybe later she'd feel that daring but for now she was content doing nothing as she waited for the sun to appear.

The sky was beginning to grow rosy already and she knew sooner than later the sea would be abaze. She turned her head towards the quite city around her for a moment, the building all sharing a pinkish red glow as the world was beginning to come awake. The city would never really wake again, but the world that had laid claim to the human's creation were beginning to stir.

The red she wolf walk in her wolf form the leather collar hanging loose around her neck like usual. She refused to take the thing off, of course if someone else wanted to they could. Her body shivered. Biting her tounge to keep from groaning she continued to walk aimlessly around the territory. She heard her stomach growl, but didn't bother to hunt or even aknowledge the fact she was hungry. Hunger didn't bother her so much anymore, not when the heat was so blinding.

The smell of the sadira women made her freeze. Her last encounter with Firefly hadn't been pleasent, but that was no concern of hers, the women shouldn't have acted like she had all the answers. Svara was tired of the melo dramatic bull shit. It was almost as pathetic as Leroy and his fake love. Taking a deep breath the she wolf moved forward her head low as if hunting, when it was just as lazy prowl, hoping to be invisible.

If Firefly hadn't been staring back towards the city and not out towards the sea again she probably wouldn't have spied the once leader of the pack. Her ears pinned back in annoyance as she watched the figure slinking along. She was getting tired of having to explain herself and it just seemed every time she turned around she'd screwed something else up or pissed the younger girl off in some new manner. Svara should have learned by now that Firefly didn't need any reason for the things she did or the way she was. She was not a carefree bubbly individual that you wanted to befriend, she was downright dangerous when she wanted to be.

Grumbling to herself she removed her body from the perch upon the dock and began a steady walk back towards where the younger and lowest ranked member of the pack was slinking about. It didn't take her too awfully long to catch up with the other woman and survey the damage that the other had taken in her time away from the pack. "Take that damn collar off, you're beginning to look like an idiot instead of just acting like one." Firefly growled as she stepped into Svara's path.

Svara didn't like to be approached from behind, but she had no intention of letting that show in anyway. Stopping in her tracks she sat down and let her ears pin back waiting for the women she knew was behind her to make some snide comment. It was like Firefly to do that, she didn't mind that in the female. Svara loved it about her, but the women had done enough on her part. The red she wolf was done with all her flighty bull shit.

It didn't take long for her path to be blocked. Steady yellow eyes watched the golden women and she said nothing to her as she waited for some imature bull crap to start spewing from her lips. It wasn't long before she got what she expected. Firefly's words did little to disturb Svara, the collar was of no concern to the other women. Giving the smaller she wolf a once over before she started past her. All her scars and red fur leaving in one slow graceful walk. The word bitch was carved into the skin of her shoulder now, while a large x of a scar marred her chest. They were nothing but scars, memories of what had been.

The women would have to do better then that to get something out of her. She had been riled to far for something so stupid to spark even a remark out of her now. Fully passing the women and continuing ahead Svara finally said something with her back to the golden she wolf. "It makes me pretty." Her sarcasm was bitting as she moved on.

Firefly was quiet as she studied the the woman's pelt, her own skin twitching as she thought about the old wounds that marred Svara's flesh. She couldn't help the fact that her fur began to rise as she wondered why and how in the ell Svara had let herself get into a position once more where she was the victim. Except for the small emotion she showed at Firefly's approach from behind, when the other woman moved around her and acted as though she wasn't there Firefly couldn't help but snarl at her one time friend.

"I thought there was something more to you once, but it seems that you've proved me wrong." She said as she stayed where she was and watched the other woman leaving. The words she was graced with did little but make Firefly throw out a bark of laughter as she shook her head. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and last I knew you were pretty damn blind." She narrowed her eyes as finally she stood up and began to move towards Svara.

Her voice was commanding as she spoke once more. "Now take that damn thing off or I'll take it off for you." She wasn't in any mood to deal with Svara's foolish acts and it looked like Svara was about to parade right into another one. Two stubborn women were never a good thing.

Svara moved on with out looking back. The women had no common sense if she continued this pointless arguing, the two of them would just go at it. Svara didn't want to go at it with Firefly, the women was still of great value to her, but she had no right to have it. Not only that, but Svara had learned quickly how to not be the victim anymore. She was no longer able to take the shit they'd all pushed on her. No longer was the emotions going to be thrown back into her face. Not by her mother, haku, firefly, leroy, jacquez, or "him" all of them would have to go stick it up their asses, she would take them all on.

Firefly's words did little to move her. Everyone always thought she was something....when she was doing what pleased them. Fuck them all, she'd do what she bloody hell wanted. No longer pleasing anyone, all theses scars were proof of what pleasing people did. Her scars reminded her that the past was real, she wasn't going to take it anymore. Stopping in her tracks she didn't look back at the golden women, her yellow eyes just closed before she spoke a grin pulled her lips. "You want it off so bad bitch come take it off." her voice was husky and dull, revealing nothing but pure boredum. "Other wise, shut your trap and learn a few lessons before you open it again." The red she wolf said evenly, her toned body standing as it had been minutes ago.

Firefly hated to be ignore and it seemed that Svara was making a point to avoid and ignore her. She was tired of the games the child played, she was tired of how Svara had always believed she was better than the rest of them. She was just plain tired. When Svara continued to move on and Firefly was forced to follow after her she let the other know with a warning growl that she was pushing her luck. Firefly had never actually been pushed over the edge with Svara before but the girl was walking the line today.

When Svara paused and her voice drew back to greet Firefly she just laughed. It wasn't the first time she'd been called a bitch and she knew it wouldn't be the last, but Svara presented her with a challenge that she didn't mind going after right now. "Take advice from you, the one who never seemed to learn from her own mistakes?" She growled as she moved closer.

Each paw hitting the ground was the only sound that Svara was greeted with until Firefly was almost upon er. Stopping short of the younger woman's ear Firefly spoke. "Gladly.." She said before throwing her weight into the other figure, her jaws open to latch onto the thick leather of the collar that Svara let weigh her down.

Firefly wanted to push her, wanted to think she new everything that went on inside her head. It only caused Svara to want to leave, fighting her was pointless the women had no common sense when it came to a problem. Everyone was just suppossed to understand her delema, but not anyone else. The women had finally snapped something, the moment her body came close enough for Svara to feel the heat she felt the wild urge to tear skin, fight, break, bleed, snap anything that came into her jaws. No more bull shit.

Svara was quick to bounce to the side before Firefly's weight could affect her, her body out of reach of the jaws that had intended to grasp her leather collar. Yellow eyes slanted her fangs bared and a deadly look came over her face before she aimed her own fangs for the she wolfs forleg. If she thought she was some big shit, she would have to back down today. Svara was not going to be anyones pin cushion anymore, she had proved that already before returning. Svara wasn't to concerned with the leather snapping under the she wolfs teeth, it was thick and very heavy, it would take a lot of force to remove it.

Firefly had expected the woman to finall come alive whne she was cornered and Svara did not disappoint. Firefly saw the shift in her posture the sudden change right before she lunged at the other female. Svara moved quickly from her path, enough to keep Firefly from pinning her down but not enough to keep Firefly from collecting her prize. She felt her teeth sink deep into the leather as Svara gave a sudden jerk, lashing out at Firefly's own form.

When Svara's teeth flashed by Firefly's face she shifted her body quickly, dragging down on the collar and shaking it, knowing that as long as she kept hold of the collar she kept hold of the other woman. A throat growl escaped her lips as she pulled her body to saddle alongside Svara's, attempting to pull the other woman's head down low in the process.

While Svara's weight might give her an advantage over Firefly's leaner frame the Sadira woman's long limbs put her on a fair playing field an she intended to use every advantage she might have, honest or downright dirty to show the other woman where she belonged.

The womens teeth encountered the leather of her collar. No anger erupted in her gut, only pure disgust. If Firefly thought she had to dominate her, then she was a fool. Svara would show this women she was no her bitch, and she would be no one elses bitch either. She was a fool. Pulling back from the she wolf who's grip on the top of her collar was tight Svara threw her head up sure and fast. It was a move that would require freedom from the sadira, or the she wolf would surely know what it was like to get her nose crushed with the force of her head being thrown into it.
This was rediculous what gave her the right to take something away from her? She didn't like it there for she was going to destroy it? If she didn't back off Svara was really going to take her on, and there was going to be blood.

She hasn't even thought about why she'd attacked Thames, she just did it. Svara had invited her to have at it and that was a deadly invitation. Firefly had set at giving the girl another good shake when suddenly Svara put her back into it and with a sudden jerk arched her head back. Snarling in disgust as Firefly was forced to give up her hod on the collar quickly she stepped out of the blind woman's reach, her eyes flashing violently as just as suddenly she threw herself back into the mess.

With Svara's head thrown back she'd left her throat open to Firefly's teeth. The Sadira woman lunged in but the one obstacle was the exact thing that had started this whole mess. Once more her fangs were embedded in the collar that she'd been trying to remove forcefully from the younger female. Snarling she pushed back towards Svara, attempting to overpower the woman but knowing that she'd placed herself in a dangerous location just the same.

Svara pulled back enough so that firefly was forced to release the collar. No saticfaction came to her features, because svara knew that firefly wouldn't give up. The moment her throat was bared the Sadira womens teeth caught the collar again. Holding her weight against the women she let her pull for a second before she saw the open spot on the womens bare scruff. Dipping her head down she took a mouth full of the womens golden fur.

Sinking fangs deep into the tuft she shook her head demanding release from her own hold. To the red she wolf the collar was not removable, and for the Sadira women to even try to remove it was damning. She had no right to try to take what wasn't hers to take. She would understand her mistake. No sympathy ran through her as her faces sank in deep and blood seeped into her mouth. What ever move they both took next was still to be seen.

There was a grim sliver of satisfaction when she had hold of the other woman again. They were both equally stubborn and fierce in their own ways and Firefly knew that this would go on until she either had the collar or they were both exhausted. She snarled as she shook the collar again, just wishing that the bitch would back down and show submission, she was after all at the bottom of the pack's ranks. As much as she wanted to remove the stupid collar from her friend she didn't want to kill her.

Suddenly things seemed to change quickly as Firelfy felt Svara's teeth in her ruff a snarl broke from her lips once more as she felt the other woman dig her fangs in deep. There was little that Svara could do with her scruff but Firefly did not like having another manhandling her. The Sadira woman did the exact same thing that Svara had done just moments before and quick as a whip snapped her own head up and back, hoping that the stupid little bitch would let go.

Svara was sure firefly would retaliate. The problem was she was willing to take the pain. Rather take the pain then the submission she had had to endure. Fuck them! She wasn't anyones bitch! Her teeth were latched in deep. When the women threw her head up Svara grinned and let go leaving the Sadira womens throat wide open. It was open for her to take a bite out of it, but she wouldn't go that far.

Launching forwards Svara threw her weight into the other women in an attempt to get her off her paws. She had no intention of being the one on the ground today, or ever. not unless she was dead. She was bigger, and taller, she was going to use this to her advantage anyway she could. Teeth bared she made her move and kept her teeth close to the womens legs to trip her up and make falling even more inevitable.

Firefly hadn't realized her mistake until it was too late but she soon realized that Svara wasn't about to lunge for her throat either. She snarled, annoyed that the woman was wiling to take a bite out of her but wasn't willing to put Firefly in her place when she had willingly tried to do the same t Svara. In a mater of seconds though that changed as the scarred up woman lashed at Firefly's legs, pushing her weight into it. This was going to get ugly in a matter of moments and Firefly didn't really care anymore.

Firefly snarled once more and leaped back, ignoring the flashing teeth as she lowered her head down and threw her entire body into the attack. She wasn't seeking to use her teeth this time but to ram Svara off balance or atleast give her the advantage of landing underneath the woman's frame where there were enough places for her t sink her teeth into and give the other girl a reason to fight back. They were like a child trying to push down a building, neither one budging and neither one giving ground, they were getting nowhere.

The Aatte male had changed a lot in his one year of life. He had been an exuberant pup, full of energy and imagination and never afraid to go up to a stranger and make a new friend. He was very different now. That same happy, considerate pup still was a part of him, but he was no longer so naive. The hybrid had hardened in the face of everything he had endured and gone through. He was doing his best to take it in stride and letting it make him stronger though. Practicing with his sword and stamina had become a release for him. It was an important exercise for him to go through but it had become cathartic as well. He remembered how Cwmfen had told him that the mind was as important as the body in battle. He would need to seek the Dahlian out again, perhaps they could spar.

The Knight was walking around the territory, Vowkeeper strapped in its usual place across his back. Drogon was in the stables, he had chosen not to ride today. The stallion could use a break and Haven could use the chance to keep his legs strong. It seemed it would be another uneventful patrol but soon the sounds of a scuffle came to him. His jaws pressed together and his muscles tensed. This was not good. Haven jogged with purpose towards the fight, one hand reaching behind his head to pull the longsword from its sheath.

The sight that met his eyes was not what he had expected, Firefly and Svara engaged in battle. He had heard tell of the ex-Constable's return and how poorly she had treated and respected everyone. It was not the kind of behavior he would put up with. Haven smelled and saw the blood of Firefly and a white hot anger rose up in his chest. It didn't matter who had started this, but it was ending now and the Serf was not going to get away free. "ENOUGH!" His voice was deep and loud, words accented with a rumbling growl. Jade eyes flashed dangerously. It would be a very poor choice for the scarred woman to continue in this vein.

Bodies moving in and out fangs snapping inches from fur, while skin gets teared. She wanted to take it out, let the blood spill down her chin, and fill her dry mouth. Svara no longer saw the golden she wolf, she saw black fur and red eyes. The bastard wouldn't hold still long enough for her to rip out his damn throat, for him to pay for everything. They all would pay for what they had done, hadn't she already done this? Why wasn't he already bleeding? Her vision cleared and she saw gold fur again and the Sadira woman came into veiw again.

It was like a battle of wills between them, neither able to give up their struggle. Shoving, biting, bleeding, all for the need to prove a point. Svara couldn't stop, she kept going never giving in. She didn't until the voice howled to do so. Her muscles tensed and she stood on strong long legs looking at none other then Haven. The orange male had no right to put his nose into her and firefly's buisness. Her yellow gaze narrowed at him, blood now coating her maw.

"You have some nerve boy." Svara said tersely. Sitting down she took a deep breath and went about shaking her coat to situate her collar and fur. He should learn to stay out of fights that had nothing to do with him. Svara looked back to Firefly and saw the blood from where she had bitten her scruff, regret spilled into her gut. She shouldn't have done that, now she could see that it had been wrong to hurt the she wolf like that. Yellow eyes averted the Sadira women, not liking the feeling of guilt and sorrow she was starting to feel when she looked at her.

Looking at Haven with fake anger she moved to her paws. "Not like we were gonna kill each other." Svara said tersly as she passed him to leave the whole situation behind. She should have told Firefly what had happened, then she wouldn't have ended up fighting her and feeling like she had no one to go to. In all actuality she had no one to go to and that wasn't as scary as that she knew she probably wouldn't for a long time to come.

Firefly had totally forgotten that they were in the packlands and that at any moment their ruckus could and would cause an uproar. She had been too busy trying to teach the younger woman a lesson that when Haven's voice broke through she didn't even realize what was going on, taking one last moment to lunge out at Svara until she noticed that the other woman was concentrating on something else. The fight had not been one of hatred and she wasn't low enough to attack the other woman when obviously everything had come to an end. Slightly confused she backed away from Svara, finally noticing Haven as she shook blood and saliva from her pelt.

Her eyes shifted from the male to Svara as her heckles began to settle down. the words of Svara almost made her smirk until she remembered that they had been at eachother's throats moments before. She narrowed her eyes wondering why the damn brat hadn't just given up the collar before she grumbled. "Leave him be Svara, it's his duty to keep us from killing eachother.." She said the words as though she was bored and everything that had just taken place really didn't matter even though she was still sore at the woman for not giving up the stupid collar.

She noticed as Svara shifted her gaze away from her after speaking to Haven, the Sadira woman not giving away much except one ear twitching as she thought. She flicked those ears back suddenly as Svara moved to leave, grumbling some response before trying to push past Haven. Firefly knew that the girl was probably still thinking as though she ruled the pack but a low growl escaped her lips as she moved to intercept Svara's departure.

Her eyes glared down at the woman as she spoke. "No one said you can leave yet Svara." She knew her rank placed her above Svara, but even more she knew that Haven towered over both of them. Firefly once more regretted leaving the pack but there was little she could do about that now. That didn't mean she would turn a blind eye to Svara's attitude anymore. She was tired of games and she was tired of everyone taking their emotions out on her. Svara had something on her chest and Firefly was through with waiting til it came to a boil.

Svara moved forwards ready to leave when Firefly skipped right into her path. The golden she wolf was determined to make nothing but trouble. Svara lifted her nose in anger, the women had no idea what kinda of insult she had thrown at her to begin with and now she wouldn't let her leave. First the collar and now this. Yellow eyes narrowed in anger as she watched the women. Firefly was the closest thing to a mother she had ever had, Sabeen had never been a mother, only a cut throat bitch.

Right now she was mad at her foster mother for what she had done to her, and at herself for taking such anger out on her. "Firefly you need to back off. I'm not in the fucking mood for your bullshit." Svara growled. She had come back for a lot of things, and she wasn't about to let Firefly get in the way of her goals. This was her life and she didn't care what anyone thought, she was going to do it her way.

After a moment the two females broke away but Haven knew this wasn't over yet. Firefly was bleeding, bleeding because of Svara and that was not something the Knight was going to let pass. Fighting with your packmates was a bad enough offense, but actually drawing blood made the situation very dire in his mind. It was his job to keep the peace and protect everyone. If Svara had become such a loose cannon as to attack her own packmates and friends then Haven was going to show her that such things were not going to be allowed. Not while he was around. One hand held tightly to his sword. While he didn't mean to use it he wanted her to know that he could. Jades narrowed at her haughty comment. "You're the one with the nerve Serf. And don't call me boy. I am not your subordinate." He had been at one time, but that time had passed.

Her arrogance didn't end there though. She moved around him to walk away. Did she think she was still in charge? Did she think she could just walk away from this? No. A deep growl rumbled in his chest as he moved with Firefly to block her retreat. This matter was far from settled. Haven's eyes were hard as stone as he looked down at the scarred wolf, his mouth a thin, stern frown. "No Svara, Firefly is right. You cannot leave yet. You've drawn her blood and that constitutes a punishment. You forget your place. There are rules that come with being in a pack and if you want to do whatever you want then you can leave. I will not tolerate such behavior here." There was no weakness in his voice or his manner. He was deadly serious about all this and he would not stand idly by while the Thames girl acted in such a way. If she thought he was afraid of her, she was terribly wrong.
