Firefly had been exploring the city of Lunenburg and oddly enough she had happened upon quite a strange sight. She'd been sitting behind an old stone wall watching what seemed to be a clan of wild cats stalking their prey through the tall grasses of a field on the outskirts of the city. She had seen felines before and though she'd never really paid much attention to them today was different. The female was once again bored but didn't want to seek out her packmates to entertain her, instead she'd gone to explore the human city only to be distracted by the tiny heathens that were preying upon the rodents of the field.

She'd been there for quite some time but to her dismay hunger had begun to settle on her tummy. Growling softly as her belly gave a rumbling protest the Sadira woman began her slow stead stalking towards the field of felines. They weren't that large but at least one could satisfy her hunger for a while. She'd never hunted the small predators before and she believed that she'd studied them long enough to be able to catch one.

A sly smile on her lips she slid through the grass like a serpent, her paws barely making a sound as she spotted a slight movement in the grasses not far from her. Quick as a flash she dove into the weeds upon the small creature that had been hunting up it's own feast moments before. With a quick snap the life was extinguished, the only sound from the creature was a warning wail before doom set in.

Firefly sat in the grasses demolishing the fiend quickly, hearing the sound of the rest of the clan scatter as she finished her lunch. Licking flecks of blood from the grass she almost didn't hear the sound of small excited paws rushing through the grass until the tiny miniature of the lunch she'd just eaten appeared. Firefly had just removed the last traces of her meal as the small beast just stared up at her, she contemplated eating the little pint-sized snack but the thing spoke up first. "Has ous seem my mums..." Firefly's ears flattened back against her skull as she realized that she'd just woofed down this helpless creature's caretaker. She sighed and realized she probably should just get it over with and eat this small one too, it wasn't going to last long without it's mother.
