<style="color:#804000">Angel made her way through the trees and the red ivy vines that covered her newly built log cabin that late evening. A solemn look was upon her brow as she entered through the door with her foxen friend Malikai waiting for her. Barking and yipping he greeted her with spins and other twirls of all sorts. "Not.. not now Malikai." Angel spoke as she pushed him off of her leg he tried jumping up. Sitting down Malikai looked confused but followed her through the modern kitchen. He kept a slow pace as the look on Angels face made her more and more worried. Another bark didn't even catch her attention. What could have gotten her so uneasy on this night?

In bed, she was wide awake and didn't even realize she left the door and all the lights on. She lied in bed with her eyes wide open and the covers pulled to her chin. Something had startled her. And it was something she wished she had never heard of coming. Years ago before she came to Phoenix Valley, she had a mate and two young pups with her. They were happy but it was then when another male named Bruton approached her and tried to take her mate away. They were able to fight him off of course. Only once. Soon rumors began to spread about the pack she resided in that her pups she had birthed were not her mates. Soon enough, her mate began to turn and eventually so did the whole pack. Coming back after a hunt Angel had found her pups to be slaughtered and the pack pointed paws at her claiming she had done it. Her mate as well had also been killed, but it was because of suicide. Bruton soon approached in the middle of the night trying to win her over and make her his.

"You shall never have me! They will know the truth!" Angel had shouted at him. "What truth Angel? All they know is that you killed your pups and you killed your mate. Yes, my scent may be all over it but as far as they were concerned, I tried to save them from you. You will be mine one way or another." At that time he tried to forcebreed her and was nearly successful had it not been for another pack member catching on to the conversation. It was a yearling, but he was old enough to be believed. Later that night, a pack meeting had occurred against Bruton and he was banished from the pack. Angel was offered to stay, but she declined knowing she had nothing left here. Most of the members were either too young or already had mates. No matter. It was that same year that Angel had left and hoped to never see Bruton again. It was the news of this night that had caught her attention. Bruton had found her location and was making his way here. He somehow had picked up her scent after the flames had broken through here and had been tracking her since. And now here she was scared to death of what he would do to her. Would he make her his? Would he take her life? She didn't know at this point. All she knew was that she would fight with her life to keep him away from her. Her eyes remained wide open as she soon sat in bed and placed a hand over her eyes and began to cry. Oh why did it have to be now that he had returned?

ooc: Hope you don't mind Smile 500+ words

Seven was sailing on a boat, it was a warm morning, the sea was calm and there was barely any wind. What a nice day it seemed. He looked around. Something seemed awfully familiar about this vessel. It wasn't too big, had one small sail and a pair of oars that seemed too small for this ship. There was also an opening with staircase. Strange, why would a small ship have such a huge set of stairs. And how deep did they go? Seven couldn't quite make out what was waiting at the end. A bit scared, he entered the dark.

The stairs went deeper and deeper, until he finally saw a blinking light at the end. Seven started running - the light seemed so inviting. He ran and ran and it seemed to go on forever. All of a sudden, he found himself in a small room, decorated with only a desk, a bed and a dresser. The room was lit by a single candle. There was someone sitting at the desk. The male wanted to run, he wanted to, but this was no longer a dream he could control. Sitting by the desk was his Master. Seventy-Two took another step back, but It was too late. The dark figure had already spotted him. He opened up one of the drawers and took out an object. Seven noticed that it was one of those things the Luperci use to inject medicine. He tried running, but couldn't move his feet. The Luperci got up and took a step closer.Well, Seventy-Two, looks like you betrayed your Master. Time for your punishment... The needle approached his front leg. No, please, no. Seven tried to object. Help! Help me!

He woke up covered in sweat. His heart pounded near the limit, one of his legs was sore - he probably hit one of the roots of the tree he had denned under when struggling. It took him a few minutes to normalise his heartrate and he was still in mild shock, so faling back asleep was impossible. No point in just sitting here through the night. He thought while leaving his den. The night was quite cold, but that didn't bother him at all. The young wolf inhaled deeply. The cool air helped him calm down. Seven looked around and wandered off in a random direction.

Unlike most of his walks, however, this time he was trying not to think. Instead he looked around, tried to get a good feeling of the terrain. He saw a couple dens, clearly uninhabited, and a few cottages along his way. He decided to stay clear off the cottages as to not disturb the inhabitants. But there was one of them that caught his attention. While the others were dark and silent, this one was shining from afar. It looked like he wasn't the only one to wander around in the middle of the night. The wolf came a little bit closer. To his great surprise, the door was open. Slowly, Seven came towards it. There was some sort of silent sound coming from inside, as if someone was crying. Something's not right here. He thought. Hello?! Is everything alright in there?!

Angel didn't hear the voice as she remained covered in the blankets. Her friend Malikai however heard it an began rumbling downstairs. He stopped at the bottom and sat down looking upon the visitor that had come. If he could speak he would inquire as to why he was here, but Malikai was sure that he was here because he heard Angel crying. Facing the stairs Malikai motioned with his tail for him to follow if he wished to figure out what was wrong.

Angel remained in the sanctuary of the covers while she sorted through her memories and tried to keep from sobbing, but it was so hard when she had bottled it up for years on end. Remembering Jeremiah was the hardest thing for her to do. She hated the fact that Bruton had killed her pups and killed her mate, though he had committed suicide. Bruton still took him away from her all for the fact he wanted her as his mate when she had been taken already.

Hearing Malikais paws come up the stairs Angel peeked her head from the covers and called the fox up where she curled up with him and held him. For some reason, it was like a cat with humans. He cheered her up a little and liked having the body there she could hold and feel warm with.
