Little baby Cow had run far far away! It could not understand why it had to go through the baby bull stages before turning into a fully grown and mature highland bull. Life was not fair at all. Although it liked its mommy cow and liked the scent and taste of warm milk instead of the green grass that it was supposed to eat, it thought it would prefer to be grown up and strong. Little Cow was merely two months old and had no horns. It was not a cow calf- at least not according to mommy-cow and she rarely told its child lies, but the little calf was starting to wonder what its true identity was. The bulls said Cow when they talked to it, and it felt so confused that it had run away for a little while now to get away from it all. Mommy-cow said never to go far away, but Cow did not know why that was and it forgot most of the things its mother said anyway. ”Moo”, the sad creature said as it walked and eventually collided with a tree face first.

Wheeee. I am making Kae about 2 months here, so it should be right after she got all beat up by Delphine. She's starting to go a little crazy but she's not totally out of whack yet. Tongue Kairo hasn't started abusing her yet, either, but yeah.

Where the hell was she? The timid youth trotted forward, her brilliant golden eyes peering around at the strange territory. It was unlike anything she'd ever seen or smelled before; she knew she was far from home. Whining to herself softly, the coyote hybrid trotted forward still, having no idea where she was going or which way was home. She wished sorely her father was around; she would feel so much better. Maybe out here her mother was still around out here somewhere. Kaena couldn't help but think that, even if she had seen the golden-furred woman die. Death. Just thinking that word elicited a twitch from the hybrid, a startled half-jump sideways, as if he were reaching for her there. The small pup heard a noise nearby, a loud thunk that drew her attention immediately. It didn't sound dangerous, and Kaena's puppyish curiosity took over for a moment as she ran forward, investigating the noise to find a rather strange-looking creature. It had hooves, which made it prey—but it was small, like her! It didn't look like any prey she'd ever seen before, and she stared for a moment, utterly dumbfounded.
Table thanks to Erin!

Cow’s face hurt a bit. The small calf let out a startled sound at this odd realization. This was not a pleasant feeling at all. It wondered what had happened. Today Cow was learning a very important lesson; a lesson that would help it survive and understand things much better in the future. Walking through air and water was one thing, but it was not possible to walk through solid things. Walking into solid objects caused pain. The calf took a few steps back on unstable hooves, eyeing its woody opponent with two black eyes. Cow could not cry, but its eyes prickled uncomfortably while the intense pain slowly was fading into a more of a throbbing pain. Poor Cow. Poor tree. Perhaps the calf would be better off walking in another direction. The furry brown thing turned slightly around and found itself looking at something that was not a tree or a plant. At least Cow did not believe it was a plant. They were usually green, weren't they? The calf’s nostrils flared and took in this odd scent. Instincts screamed for its legs to run, but the young animal doubted its own body and brain now. What if Cow ran into something again? Tree things were hard and unpleasant to collide into. The animal in front of the hoofed creature seemed to have lots of fluffy fur. Perhaps it would be pleasant to collide into it? The young calf started to walk over to the fluffy ball, deciding it was best to try this out.

Babykae is durfdurf. XD

The silver-furred hybrid was utterly confused at this new creature. What the hell was a cow, anyway? She'd never seen one before; deer and other wild animals, sure—but her mother hadn't hunted for her and her father hadn't ever brought home a domesticated creature for Kaena. The animal started to walk toward her and the canine retreated, her ears folding flat against her head and her golden-yellow eyes showing fear. The lead coated puppy darted to the right, neatly sidestepping the advancing bovine. She whined loudly, fear and confusion showing on her face. Was it attacking her? She simply did not want to find out.

Babycow is momo!

A thought just struck the young, furry calf-thing: what if it was another calf that it had not met before? Instincts screamed at the young Cow that this was not so; this was something very dangerous that it should run from. Unfortunately for Cow, it never really developed a proper functional brain. Cow was stupid. Cow was very stupid. Cow was a retard. This simple fact caused the highland critter to moo in delight when it ran through the fluffy animal. The calf stopped slowly and spent five entire seconds pondering why it had not felt particularly fluffy when it had run through its fellow furry friend rock. Yes, that was it! The colour of the fur thing reminded the calf of a rock. Furry rock, man that was cool. The stupid thing turned and discovered that the living rock had changed localization. It mooed in disappointment, drawing the conclusion that it had not run through the weird stone after all. Tongue leaped out of its mouth and started rummaging its own nose in search for comfort.
