The three little figures wandered off on their own much more these days, and she trusted them to do so. She knew they would not wander far enough to be in danger, and she made sure they stayed within limit of her nose. As long as she could easily find them, it was ok. The smallest girl stuck around her more than the others, but eventually she, too, had been lured in by the many awaiting adventures she could encounter on her own. Mew sat with a smile in the clearing, just outside Wolfville. The little family spent a lot of time in the ruin city, but she preferred to take them here. It was nicer, more natural; the city was merely where she slept and kept her keepsakes. It was not where she lived.

The air carried her voice as she hummed gently, reading a random book she'd found in a corner of the room she used as her bedroom. In itself, it held little value to her, knowing very well it was from the "oh so wonderful library" that Lubomir had fixed up. But, it was entertainment for now. She was glad to relax, spending much time these days hunting to feed three tummies as hungry as her own. No doubt that would not change for the better as winter slowly covered everything, so she tried to hunt more than necessary now. The children's scents and directions were easy to make out, and so she relaxed, feeling very much content and in control of her life again.

The thought of visiting his sister and her litter had never even crossed the man’s mind. It was odd how they were becoming strangers. It was all his fault; he simply did not care anymore. His attention was slowly drawing inwards and most of the time he was lost in a haze as he automatically tracked the borders in circles again and again. He was slowly losing himself and he knew it all too well. What he could not decide was whether or not he was looking forward to it. It was too late to do anything about it – he was already damned – so why not welcome the incoming death with open arms? He would go on as always, of course, but he held no anticipation for the future anymore. He would do what he could as long as the last pieces of sanity lingered. After that, well, that would be a completely different story.

Why he was in Wolfville today was beyond his understanding, but the scents that at once point revealed them were strange yet familiar. The man automatically tracked the intriguing scents to Mew’s current residence – or what seemed to be anyway. The scent of Dahlia’s newest family was strong here and the secui nosed the door open only to lay eyes on a puppy that he had never seen before. The child seemed just as surprised as Haku was. Slowly, a grimace of distaste spread across the Lilium’s once so handsome face. Although they once would grow up to become useful members of the pack, he despised children.

The scent of her brother was in the air, but Mew could not remember when last it had not been. It seemed he was their most hardworking scout these days, always at the borders somewhere. She was proud, in a way, but it made her curious. He could have others patrolling for him; he was the Lilium. Ah well, he had always been a strange one. This time, though, his scent grew stronger, and she put the book down and got up to walk in his direction. He still hadn't come to see his nephew and nieces, and she didn't know whether she was hurt or not by that. After all, it was the achievement of her life, and she wanted to see his pride when he laid eyes on them.

Her legs took her to her house, and her nose told her that both Dexter and Haku must be in there or at least close by. Calling the young boy's name, she expected one would follow the other. "Dexter?" Going in through the back door, she quickly saw his stubby form facing her brother's. The boy was half-turned, probably having heard her calling his name. Halting a moment, she arched an eyebrow at the chocolate Lilium's facial expression before walking up to the pair. "Hey Haku, meet my son." Smiling, she bent down to be on the boy's level. "Dexter, this is your uncle Haku. He's the father of Emwe and Conor, and Colibri, too. Remember Colibri?" Dexter's face lit up at the mention of the chocolate femme's name, and his tail wagged a moment before turning around to face his uncle with a glorious smile. He knew how to speak, but it wasn't always necessary. She ruffled the boy's fur on the top of his head and rose again, simply standing by the little form. She was not sure whether to hug her brother or not.

Ears did not perk as they caught the light voice of Mew Sadira. He heard the female’s subtle soul in her voice and knew that she had changed. Mew was miserable no more. He thought he would have been happy for her when discovering that she had finally found something more concrete to live and breathe for. He felt nothing. Sometimes he just had to wonder why she still had the strength to call him brother without letting grimaces swallow her face. Dexter, however, seemed to inhabit mixed feelings now with his mother calling for him. Theirs eyes were still connected, but the boy’s body was slowly turning towards wherever his mother’s voice came from.

Mew then appeared and the demonic lilium let his gaze slowly climb to meet her leaf green eyes. Had he known that she was pregnant? His mind buzzed with this question, but if he ever had then someone had filtered that fact out unnoticed. It was impossible to claim that he held no knowledge about the birth though – such occurrences travelled fast because there were cute, fluffy puppies to stare stupidly at for those who enjoyed that. Haku did not. Ears folded in silent reluctance as his sister had to go through some of this Dexter’s cousins. He just managed to control his facial expression when Colibri’s name sounded –twice!- and he just wanted to explode into a flurry of fangs and claws.

The secui had to look up at his sister, found that he did not particularly like it. He bought an extra moment of silence by bringing his gaze down to the little snot by his mother’s side. Puppies were a nuisance, but would one day strengthen the pack in more ways than merely numbers. Haku had made a mistake with his children: he had treated like what he knew they were: garbage. Now, he did not admit his flaws because of the obvious lack of moral. No, it was because his children would remember. He would see no steadfast loyalty in either of them.

”Are there more?” the male asked rather stupidly, determined to investigate this litter to make sure there were no disgusting runts. A “hug” was very far away from the male’s mind.

His face was the same as she knew it, her baby brother, but of course he had changed with time. When she had left Clouded Tears he had still been young and innocent, and now he was much older, and looked it. Perhaps he looked even older than they were, because of his scars and marks of hardship as pack subleader. Now, it was a long time since she had seen him, and something in her prevented her from hugging him. Dismissing it as the awkwardness of reunion, she smiled warmly at her brother as she watched the two males study each other. Still she was conflicted, because he seemed different, both from what she had expected, and from how she knew him. In fact, lately it had been as if she saw or heard nothing of him at all, but found his scent everywhere. The next words he spoke only strengthened her impression. Had she insulted him? And what kind of question was that? No congratulations or "I'm happy for you"s, but a simple, blunt question. As if they were merely items. These were the diamonds of her life, three small beings as pure as the first snow of winter, and all he had to say was "are there more?". Surely, she must have insulted him somehow. Still, he was unreasonable to carry his anger to her like this, without telling her about it up front, and her voice was not as warm when she replied to his question. "It is a litter of three. Dexter, Keeleigh and Vesle." She wondered for a moment why he did not know. It was a long time ago that she had brought them to this world, and everyone else had managed to pick up the info. Should she be insulted? Perhaps, but she would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Oeeee, isje så bra post, denne!

Perhaps he had never been truly innocent. He had carried on the deadly taint as long as he could remember. At first it had been a mere whisper, but it had pulsed and grown until he knew that there was no escape. They were a part of each other now, and Haku Soul was slowly losing a war he never realized existed. It was impossible for him to be less interested in the value the most recent litter’s mother held for her small ones. To him they were merely items and could never be anything else. Even Lillith was a mere item used to his advantage, though he was uncertain where he had her. She was different, but had yet to break through to caress the pitch black monster that only carried death in its pupil less eyes. They were all going to die. Jaws parted slightly, for the demonic Lilium wanted males. ”Vesle? Is that a name for male or female?” the man silently asked, looking down at the small, plump body. He guessed they were Lubomir’s. He had never liked the greyscale male.

He seemed indifferent to her change of tone when she had spoken their names out loud. Actually he had not noticed it at all. He was losing his general focus on things. The world was slowly drowning in a mist that he could not make sense of. He was starting to fear that he was to drown. ”May I see the two other puppies?” he now asked, letting his baby blue gaze find the face he had grown up with. When had he turned his back at her?

Mew frowned as he asked bluntly about Vesle's gender. What, was her names not good enough for him? He seemed cold, and it was lucky that Vesle was not here to hear those words.Moments ago she had been confused, not knowing whether to be indignant or not, but he had quickly solved that problem for her. Stepping forward so her front legs shielded Dexter, she clearly indicated that the conversation no longer included the boy. "A girl.", she stated, just as bluntly as he had asked. Still, on the outside she had not changed, skilled in maintaining a face for the rest of the world while other things went on inside.

He asked to see the other puppies, and had he been merely her brother she might have denied him that, now. But He was the Lilium, and so she could not. Her head moved from one side to another as she looked for the other two children. "They're around here somewhere, I believe..." They went their own ways sometimes, when inside the packlands. She saw no danger in that. "Vesle? Keeleigh!" Calling out, she suspected they would arrive soon. They were generally obedient, and they knew that when she called for them it could mean anything from danger to food, and either reason was a good reason to come running to their mother. "They didn't go far, I don't let them." Her green gaze returned to her baby brother's blues and lingered there. Haku was different, tired perhaps. No doubt because of the strains of leadership? She would think it was not an easy task. Silence passed between them until the other two children arrived, and they quickly picked up on the strange situation and its mood. Taking comfort next to Dexter, the three ones lined up, and their mother introduced everyone. "Keeleigh, Vesle, this is your uncle Haku. Say hi, now." Her nose bent down to point at each of the girls as she said their names, so Haku would know.

He detected increased coldness from the white female in front of him, but he was unable to tie this with what should be obvious: his own lack of proper emotional responses. Haku failed to understand that this should mean more to him than a set of new future soldiers. These were children that his big sister loved and adored; her own flesh and blood like Emwe and Conor was his. The horrible fact was that Haku was quite close to despising his offspring in general. Once upon a time before his youngest sons had even tasted their first breath he had come to Mew and told her the truth, that he was not fit as a father. She had refused to believe this; been so certain that he was wrong in his worries. Haku had never worried about this. He knew what kind of world his pathetic offspring would be born into and he knew that his own heart was black and withered and could no longer love anything but himself. They were nuisances because Cercelee had been the usual idiot and placed them in his care after Firefly had been busted at trying to stage the kidnapping to frame him as a bad father. Haku knew he was a failure and was of course never intent at trying to correct this. There was no reason for him to. Blood was thicker than water, but that saying was worthless and without any meaning to the chocolate coated Lilium. He could turn on a family member just as quickly and lethally as he would on an Inferni member. This was how much he cared for his family, which was not a hell of a lot.

Although his facial expression never changed Haku was disappointed to learn that Vesle was the name of a little girl. That left only the boy named Dexter. Dahlia had always been sort of ruled by a high number of females. He had never liked that fact, for most women were not as grand fighters as males proved to be. They dreamt of litters and motherhood while the men dreamt of protecting their families. Although family was heavily overrated to a degree where it was not even funny anymore, so many seemed to seek it. Firefly had not wished for children in the beginning, but she had been reluctant to end the pregnancy. It was very easy to terminate life once it had began to grow in the woman’s womb, but so disappointingly few chose to walk that path. Fresh blood was needed in order to continue forming new generations, but some children were not wanted. Haku was not always good at finding meaning in his streaming thoughts. Perhaps he despised children, mother- and fatherhood because he did not understand it. It was not long ago since he had tried to kill his first born daughter. The only thing he had felt had been blissful joy when he had heard her scream in pain and desperation. He had severed her beautiful tail and added it to his collection of trophies. He had let her live only so that he could ruin her life further. He was a horrible, horrible monster and Mew could not yet see this.

By now the woman had called for her young and the man’s electric blue gaze wandered over to them with interest. Not because he was their uncle, but because he would have to remember their scents and faces and he would somehow have to attempt to train them so that they would not take after their mother in weakness later on. Haku had many fleeting plans that never were breathed into life. With time and dedication these young souls could be ruined and made soulless slaves ruled by his will. As long as they were part of a pack where people believed in this thing called moral they would be unreachable for such purposes. For a moment the male felt the hunger for the children’s souls to leak into his eyes, but he did not take the time to look up at his sister to discover whether or not she had seen this small slip. His eyes were cold and empty again. He resented every trace of Lubomir that his eyes could find. Of all males his sister could have gone and screwed with, she had chosen the ancient, boring male. He was not a good example of a strong and healthy male. He had been unable to give her sons. Glance seemed to linger most with the Dexter boy. The Lilium wondered what kind of male the little one would turn out to be. It would be interesting to follow their progress as they grew older. ”Hello,” his dark voice sounded, hollowed and not twisted for the sake of the children. He did not believe in unneeded softness and baby talk.

Mew studied her brother's face as he studied her children, and saw no change in him. There seemed to be a certain lack of emotion, as if he simply did not care. For a moment, though, there seemed to be something, but it passed so quickly she was not certain whether she had seen it at all. Something as small as the widening of an eye or the twitch of a brow; she could very well simply have looked too hard at his face, and imagined it all. After all, she was often weary with these three running around her feet, and quite often she misinterpreted people's faces, for example's Alexey's. And it seemed to her that though she had been more emotional while carrying the litter, that feeling lingered in her body. She often overreacted or put more meaning into something than was intended. She would give her baby brother the benefit of the doubt.

Blue orbs rested on Dexter the most intently, and Mew nudged the little boy on the back side, hoping he would take a step forward to speak to Haku. He resisted, however, and remained between her legs. The scepticism of the children did not lessen when he spoke to them, bluntly. Mew arched an eyebrow for a second before it settled again. Again with the strange words. Again with the strange reaction to a situation. None of the children replied, but stared at him with large saucer eyes. Annoyed now, at this tension in the room (which was surely imagined by her. After all, why wouldn't her own brother be happy to meet her children? No, this scene before her eyes was tainted by her excess of feeling, surely), Mew bent down and spoke to the children. Her voice was quite stern now, but soft at the edges, as if wshing to reprimand but not quite succeeding. "Now children, it's rude not to reply. Your uncle is the Lilium, and you should be respectful." Noticing the change in their mother's voice, the children looked at her stupidly before looking back at their uncle, and after hesitating a moment they all spoke at once, shyly, in sentences resembling "Hi uncle Haku" and "How are you?". Satisfied, Mew nudged them with her nose. "See? Not hard at all." She raised her head to look back at her brother, now quite proud. He could see they were not dimwits, just a little nervous around strangers. It was not at all uncommon, or so she had heard.

Haku’s lips wanted to withdraw and reveal those deadly fangs that had taken so many lives yet still thirsted so. The boy seemed afraid of him. Perhaps instinct actually seemed to matter at such a young age before it was ignored and forgotten about. Haku was the incarnation of a lot of bad things and he wondered how long he would go about and find by his surprise that no one managed to see the true, hallow monster hiding immediately under chocolate fur and skin. He kept up his stare as the child sought to keep his hiding spot between its mother’s legs. Perhaps the child could have found some ease had the adult’s penetrating glare wandered away for a moment, but a first lesson would be that troubling things did not merely disappear if you hid long enough. Not the true horrors anyway. Nightmares were supposed to end and fade by dawn, but Haku carried his own within every day; relived those horrible deeds that further ruined whatever was left of his heart and soul. There was no ability left in the black heart pushing tainted blood through his body – the pulsing organ merely assisted spreading the consuming disease faster. Soon, very soon, Haku Soul would start to count his last breaths.

Mew Sadira was right as she reprimanded her children in a voice that was much too soft for the Lilium’s liking. They would have to learn to show the right members some respect if they wished to have a future within the pack. It would soon be time to act and Haku would get rid of weed and other waste. The male nodded, finally moving his gaze to glare on the two other children as they weakly attempted to greet the man they thought were related to them. By blood, maybe, but that alone meant nothing. If his body had required meat he would have had no problem feasting of their flesh. Mew seemed to be proud of her children’s pathetic attempt to greet their future God, but she was merely female and he expected nothing from her. ”No, not hard at all.” he echoed in his dark tones, looking up at the sister he once had managed to see as family. Days stretched by and he knew not why they contained black holes. Dark shadows had started to populate the world again. Hollow fragments of souls that wished to feed of the living.

He did not fear them, for he had already been consumed by the dark shadow within.

Mew's instincts insisted that something was not the way it should be with the behavior of her brother, but her senses told her that she was overreacting. These days it was hard to tell the natural reaction from the unnatural one, and she was blinded by her children's take on this world. She was growing careless and not taking precautions anymore. She was increasingly failing at reading her fellow adults' behavior as she spent her days studying the children and them alone. Of course, Conor and Alexey came by regularly, and Hanna visited sometimes, but still most of her days and time was spent on the little clumsy forms that now stood between her front legs. She decided now, that it was enough of introductions, and seeing as Haku was not interested in talking to them on their own level she would let them go. Bending down she spoke to the quietly, but of course not so the Lilium would not hear. "Why don't you go and play, and your mum can have a talk with her brother alone?" The children looked at her for a little moment, then at Haku, and Mew smiled as they hurried away. Happiness in returning to their daily playing routine was what she saw. Perhaps there had been relief on the little boy's face, but she had not seen it. As she lifted her head to meet her brother's baby blue eyes, there was a different air about her; Mew was still a mother, but as the children walked away with the complete lack of grace that only children can transform into cuteness she became more of Haku's sister, more of Mew as she had always been. Her green gaze was not as masked by the affection of her children. Sharp gaze studied her brother's face now. "It's been a long time, Haku. I rarely see you anymore - how are you?" Her voice was inviting; if he was troubled and wished to share this with her, he may. She was offering him this, as one of the only things she could do to ever repay him for always having her back. But he did not want to speak, he could easily avoid the whole ordeal, and ;ew would think nothing of it. The Lilum was a busy position to hold, no doubt. She smiled, quite happy with how he had decided to visit her. She had not expected this.

He did not wish for the pack to have children and litters these days. The future was stepping closer with every damned breath and they served just as annoyances during the time of war. The male was yet to discover how suddenly war again would come to Dahlia de Mai, but he knew that these lands would not know peace for long any longer. He knew this with certainty because he would be the one leading them into chaos. He had the plan ready and all he had to do now would be to lash out at the ivory Rosea of Dahlia de Mai and remove her from her high seat. An ear swivelled back towards his skull in silence as the mother told her children to go out and play because she intended to have a chat. Haku held no such desire, but felt he could hardly reject her. He had yet to go that far to push away the sister that always so foolishly had stood by his side. She was an important ally and he would have to endure. Three faces looked up at their dame for a moment before they simultaneously scrambled into motion and left the building. Haku’s face was halfway turned as he had followed the children with his blue stare, and now it was slowly returning to the woman that finally had gotten her wish granted and become a mother at last. Was it all that she had expected? Haku was empty and perhaps that was why it had not worked out for him all that well.

The woman’s voice sounded again and this time it was directed to him. He looked her over and wondered if she could tell. How was it that his own sister seemed to be the last to guess the rampaging madness within his large form? He did not even know how to return to his original lupus form. This was his permanent vessel now and it was amazing how much the taint got away with without ruining the demonic male’s appearance. Scars had gathered and his fangs were showing their first signs of decay. They were no longer the young siblings they used to be. If she had compared him to the Haku he had been in the past, alarm bells should be ringing with full strength. That was the thing though, for everyone changed as years passed by. ”I live my life by the borders,” the male decided to explain, though he shouldn’t have to give her reasons for not visiting her. This had not been her intention at all either, but Haku’s reluctance for such questions in general was prominent and he despised being interrogated. ”All is well and it seems you live a good life too.” What would she have said had she known that he intended to ruin her home? How could the woman bear to let her children play outside sight when there was a madman spreading traps and death about the borders?

Her brother didn't change at all as he spoke, and her heart fell a little. She would have understood if it was the children's presence that had made him uncomfortable or something, but she was his sister, no? The one he had rained down vengeance on Inferni for. She would have thought that equaled to at least a smile or so. She would have thought he could have visited her before now, or was more happy on her behalf. Certainly not that he would close himself for her like this. Shifting her weight, she sat down as he spoke with that same unchanging voice. Either he was weary, or something else was afoot. She had expected him to return to his normal self once the children left, though it seemed this was not what was going to happen. Last she had seen him properly was after the birth of his sons, and he had been entirely different then. Her head tilted sideways as she studied him a moment before not replying at all. Only when he compared her life as a mother to his own life at the borders and defined them both as good lives did she speak. Surely, never ceasing to patrol the borders was neither healthy nor leading a good life? "I can't see why patrolling can be satisfying when that is all you do. Aren't you tired?" Her questions came from concern, but also now from curiosity. She had eyes in her skull, she could see now that he was different. She wondered what their Lilium was up to on his free time.

He tilted his head in silence as he looked into the jade gaze of the being that had wandered by his side in so many ways since his birth. There was no darkness in her and he thought it was sad that she would be unable to walk with him much longer. It was too late for everything now. While he was mostly untouched by this fact, he acknowledged her feelings even if he had none. After a few moments pondering her words he let his quiet voice sound again. ”I lead a pack, Mew, and patrolling is only part of my responsibilities.” He was not tired. Haku was on the very top of his age and the endless patrolling amongst other shores assigned kept his body fit to the top. Or perhaps he was. He was unable to determine whether the red eyed ghosts were real or not. Dreams were no more and he knew only black when he closed his eyes. Sleep did not bring much rest and he was starting to understand why this was. He did not acknowledge exhaustion though, so he stood tall with eyes untouched by the drowsiness that always seemed to want to claim a presence. ”I don’t have time to feel tired as long as this threat is present by the Dahlian borders.” His gaze floated in the direction of the closest border despite the concrete walls of the building they were standing inside of. ”Someone has to carry the burden when our leader chooses not to.” dark grudge was not heavy in his dark voice, but it was definitely present as he spoke these words.

She nodded silently as he replied in a quiet voice. "I see" True, it was all true. But she had not asked simply to be given an answer she could have thought up herself; no, she had asked to penetrate this shell that seemed to hinder her in reaching her brother. He was distant, she thought, which was also why she thought he might be weary. But the shell was easily maintained, or unbreakable, or so it would seem. Most who hid from their surroundings would succumb when met with affection, at least when they realized it was genuine, but not her baby brother, it would seem. And she agreed with what he said; as a leader, he did not have time to concern himself with the trifles of muscles aching or the need to rest one's mind. In that sense, Mew was lucky; she was a mere underling, though quite high up in the ranks system. She could, in a sense, do with her time as she pleased, long as she remembered to fulfill her few duties to this pack. But a leader's list of chores was neverending. They had been given the trust of the pack's members, and one of their sacrifices was the luxury of spare time. It seemed to Mew that her brother had changed in the time span between their last and current meeting, and for this the femme was sad. She did not wish to grow away from her brother, like so many siblings did, just because of life itself. She wished to spend this life, now that she had been spared from death, and blessed with her family, with the ones she cared about. But if her brother no longer wanted to be social with her, it was all different, and she would have lost a brother. Siblingless, parentless, but not without family. Still, she wished that reality was otherwise than this worry.

Only when he commented on the Rosea did she shift her stance, and now she was not certain how to respond. She had been busy reproducing and minding her own business, had had no time to interact with her cousin or her brother, unless they sought her. But they had not, and now she felt as if there was something she ought to know. Was there a problem between the Rosea and her Lilium? It would seem this way, from her brother's dry remark. One ear moved backwards towards her skull, mirroring the confusion within her. She would not accuse him of wrongly accusing their Rosea; she was smarter than that. She knew very well that her brother could be proud sometimes, and would not appreciate it. Instead, she inquired further. "What do you mean? Is she not busy with the family?" Last Mew had seen her, Cercelee had been living with a family, though none of those children were of her mateship to Slay. Still, she had seemed pretty busy, being a mother and leading a pack. Then again, Mew did not ask unless prompted, and for a long time now she had paid little attention to the happenings outside her very little world. A very little world consisting of herself, her children, Alexey and Conor. She chose to give attention to those who seemed to want it, instead of openly offering it to any living thing that passed her by. If the leadership took no interest in her, she took no interest in the leadership.

He studied the immerse gap between himself and the rest of the world. Together with realization came contentment. He knew not the strings that his beloved demon pulled in; just knew that it was the right way to go. In the past it had not been all that easy to see clearly. He had been born a weakling like everyone else – but also with a purpose. He had grown and bloomed and saw the chains of emotions lose their strength and fall off him. It was wonderful to finally feel the taste of true freedom after an entire life in captivity. Eyes narrowed when Mew’s voice drew him back into the present scene and demonstrated confusion. A solitary ear swiveled backwards in quiet surprise when she revealed that she believed that Cercelee had a family? A moment had already passed when he discovered what he meant and he shook his head curtly. ”The last child of that Sadira litter disappeared months ago and she has no children in her care.” He actually did wonder what the Rosea did during the days. He knew that it was quite the possibility that he badmouthed her worse than what was deserved, but in her absence where the burden was on him alone he had no other way of releasing steam. Not too much though, for he needed enough of it when it was time to confront the female and take what was his. Yes, he thirsted for the throne.

I am a part of all that I have met

It seemed as if her baby brother zoned out, and she eyed him suspiciously, though not openly so. He looked the same as he had always done, to her, no matter how his skin changed as he faced new trials and ordeals. Scars were merely proof that one was alive, and she had come to revere her own as marks of a long life, and tokens of luck. It had not been apparent to her until recently, with the coming of her children. It was strange, how the world had changed so suddenly — and dramatically. She spoke, and her brother returned to her, only to confuse her further. Cercelee no longer had the five pups in her care? Showed hos much Mew paid attention. Or rather, how much Cercelee focused on updating her cousin. The white femme assumed that her Rosea was always busy since she never came to visit, but perhaps there were different reasons behind her behavior. Whatever it was, Mew wished to know, though she would not go asking for it. Not even from her baby brother. Moving her front legs as if shrugging, Mew mumbled a disheartened sentence which meant nothing. "Oh well." Pausing, her posture revealed a moment of uncertainty. "I suppose she has her reasons." She did not mumble this time, but the tone of voice delivered the sentence almost like a question, as if she hoped her brother would offer her information, yet not. Moving her head to look behind her, she checked if she could make out her children back there, always needing to know where they were. She was not about to neglect them now that she had nearly died to have them, and not having them in sight or hearing range made her nervous.

<3 bye Mewmew Sad

It always struck him as somewhat odd that they all seemed to have such faith in the distracted Rosea. Was he jealous? No – shouldn’t be, because he was untouchable. He wanted the woman to fall off the throne, pushed down by lack of faith and trust from the members. The circumstances should be perfect for that right now, but the members seemed oblivious. Haku Soul, always the one doing the dirty work, always on duty for the ungrateful white bitch. Of course his mortal sister was just as oblivious of the upper workings of Dahlia as everyone else. His gaze drifted away from her ivory and soft gray form, losing interest very quickly now when he had seen her young and witnessed her lack of potential.

Little did the siblings know that they would not meet again. Mew Sadira would dive into her death and Haku would finally find his way to new heights of insanity. It was almost sad, taken into account how promising their lives had been when they both were young and free in Clouded Tears. The family had never been complete in every way, but it had certainly never been as broken as it would be soon. Haku could not see anything but the war he so ached for and the blood he wanted to cover the land. Mew was soon to never see anything ever again. As usual, without dignifying the other of any sort of farewell, Haku Soul turned around and walked out of Mew Sadira’s life without even knowing it. It mattered little, for the sibling Mew knew was already long gone and dead.

Baibai! Sad

I am a part of all that I have met

The chocolate male turned and left abruptly, seemingly emotionless, leaving his sister (though only in blood, now, and not in mind) confused. She could not decide whether to be offended, worried or just leave it at nothing and think nothing of it. Emerald eyes stared at his secui form as he moved away from her, nostrils taking in his scent as he walked away; how it slowly disappeared into air, along with her confusion. In the end she would just leave him alone. In the end they were both alone. She, too, turned when he was out of sight, and soon her attention was back on her children, doting on them and telling them about their uncle; their strange uncle with strange scars and even stranger behavior. She knew very well that he had changed since she first arrived here, but was oblivious to the degree of it. Perhaps there was nothing wrong in her not knowing him, for she would die still thinking of him affectionately, still seeing her baby brother in his damned and scarred form. Ignorance is bliss, and though her mind was far from blissful at the thought of him, it was miles away from being as scared as it would have been had she known the truth.
