blah, i totally forgot to get this up early i sry. x_x. forward dated to 1/15 if that's okay? trying to have threads with king at a variety of dif ages. Big Grin. 340 words

The intensity of the love that Tokyo had for her son was only comparable to the hatred she had held for the other boy she had raised. She had woken up to find that King's eyes had opened: bright electric blue orbs watching her inquisitively as she stirred. His father's eyes, but holding a note of innocence instead of cruelty. Hopefully the color would sustain itself past the age in which blue eyes typically faded. Genetically, of course, he was predisposed to retaining it. She had nuzzled him happily, then picked him up by the scruff of the neck and happily bounced outside with an energy and liveliness she hadn't felt for days. It was cold, so she didn't stray far, but set him down at a little patch of green outside their den. He sniffed at it, then tried to bite it. It seemed like it had taken longer for Princess and Buttface to open their eyes.. It was long ago, so she couldn't be entirely sure, but she felt instinctively that somehow King was developing at a slightly faster pace and it made her only more proud.

Oh, how she loved this little child. It was a fascinating thing, the strength of this emotion, incomparable to anything she'd ever felt before, even the satisfaction of pulling off a major scheme. Well, it was sort of like that.. only better. More intense. No wonder people always raved about the thing. He couldn't hear her yet, but Tokyo mumbled words of praise as he wobbled around a little outside the den. A tiny pile of snow was next on his list of things to inspect, but the coldness of it on his nose elicited an unhappy growl and he crawled back to Mommy's side, still complaining with his minuscule puppy-noises. She'd have to start feeding him real food, soon. His teeth were starting to hurt, and having to nurse him all the time was annoying. Besides, he'd grow stronger faster from meat than milk.

thanks for starting lovey

His leg was healing, stitched tight by threads of flesh and clots of blood. Minos didn’t understand why his alpha had rain down much ferocity on his poor helpless follower, even after his leader had given him an explanation. There was change running through his veins, seeping into muscles and drawing power from a place Minos did not know existed. It all went unnoticed; the white beast could not feel the virus that had been leached into his system from the mouth of his alpha. The chocolate male had simply put him in his place, in the mind of the omega. In his place he would remain, yet he found that only the ruler of these lands had acknowledged his presence. Other then the idle eyed pup that only confused him more, Minos had been the invisible creature that he always wished to be.

Walking slowly, the hurt of his leg and the strain the fight he and the king waged against the coyotes keeping his pace tender and curt. Minos roamed the lands of this new home; nose to the ground and as always in search of something to fill his stomach. He missed the days when wolves gathered each day and hunted together over and over. It was when ever the alpha found it time, they would gather legs beneath bodies and move with the will of pleasing the one that chose to hunt. This, the disconnect and the dispersion of members, did not register with what was left of Minos’ feral blood.

It kept him safe though, and he could rest without the thought that another member would choose to show he was only the lowest in their order and nothing more. Here he could go entire days traveling the pack land without seeing another creature, and even though he was not having to subdue the angry tyrants of members the white wolf found he was growing some what lonely. Looking forth into the distance the black nose caught the scent of a female. Gingerly the male crept close, until her scent was all around. Eyes darted in search of her form, and when he did he lowered his head. Ears turned to the side, falling and making unease obvious.

There was something else, small and moving at her paws. Ears darted forward, and his eyes opened wide at the sight of the small pup. Looking again at the female, Minos lowered head and ears once more. It was obvious that the female was the mate of their leader, as was customary. Watching her out of the corner of his eye Minos merely looked on, eager to meet the young of the alpha pair. For all he knew this was the queen that went with their king, and since Minos did not know any better then what was written in his genes he was fairly certain of it.

np. i are slowww face. 302 words

A stranger approached, and Tokyo's protective mother's instinct flared up and then faded as he rolled upon his back. He wasn't known to her, but she recognized him from the pack meeting and the scent of Dahlia was upon him. Besides, it looked as if he had fairly decent manners. If she had known the assumptions the white wolf made of her rank, she would have liked him even more. If she could convince most of the newcomers that she was indeed one of the leaders, especially if she could do so without actually lying about the fact.. Well, she might as well be one if she could possess that much influence.

Snow was scary because it was cold, but in King's experience fuzzy things of the stranger's size were warm and delicious. His blue eyes studied the other form, then he carefully and in a determined fashion wiggled over to the other male. Tokyo moved to block him initially, then stopped. The other male didn't seem stupid enough to hurt a child of the leader. King made it most of the way to the other, then made a loud mewing noise, demanding some sort of attention. The mother couldn't help herself; a smile spread across her face at how damn adorable her little boy was. "This is King Chance. He is your leader's child."

The surname was hers; the blood that gave him such standing was that passed on by Haku. The eyes were his father's; the length and silkiness of his fur was his mother's. King was the perfect combination of lineage: he had infinite potential for beauty, brains, and brawn. Tokyo was thrilled to be in a position where she would see him grow up into his heritage.

Minos is weird. ><

It was the way, for the mother to wish to protect her young. Minos understood that much. She moved towards him, and the omega leaned back. Staying planted in the one place would not bring forth the urge to chase him. She would likely catch him, with the injury that was healing along his limb. Minos didn’t want to leave, anyways. He wanted to meet the newest member of the pack. The pup moved forth, and the while adult moved downward into the snow, his tail wagging with excitement.

The mother’s words rang his previous thoughts true. This was the other half to the alpha pair. A small whine came form is mouth, and lack nose moved forward to greet the pup. Tail waved, brushing against the snow he lay in. The King? It was a fitting name, and if he would have guessed such was the name of his father. Minos did not even know the alpha’s call name. Such a thing was unnecessary information for the beast. He understood how to survive without knowing what the sound of his name felt in his ears or on his tongue. He knew his scent and in the end that was enough.

The pup was beautiful, as all were. Minos found he wanted to be closer and crawled towards him, black nose wishing to touch the newborn pelt. It was obvious that this young wolf had not been born as he had, an omega by genetics. Minos had indeed been born to alpha parents, as was the law of nature. But he still held the weakness that made him want to merely survive and show all others that he was simply lower then dirt.
