    Nayati and Liliana go to the stables after digging out the Town Hall and find the doors open and the horses gone. Working together, they head out into the deep snow to find the escaped equines.

    Early one morning Nayati finds his childhood friend from the Great Tribe, Chitsa, has now come to Nova Scotia. She treats him coldly and it is soon revealed that she knows about his past love for Asha and is angry that he took a different mate. The two argue but stop once the troubles plaguing the Great Tribe come to light.

    Three days after the birth of their pups, Liliana and Nayati have Dawali perform the ceremony and the pups are given their names: Saqui and Kuruk.

61. Tsigoti Sidanelvhi (26Jun2011) [Joining] Sunki&Dawali

    Nayati's little sister, Sunki, arrives from the Great Tribe and is accepted into AniWaya by Dawali. She brings further news of the strife of the Great Tribe and while still concerned for the rest of his family, Nayati is happy he can now look after Sunki.

62. Know your place (15Jul2011) [Pack Meeting]

    A meeting is called and it is revealed that a man from the Great Tribe, Maska, has come and taken over leadership of AniWaya. He claims that Dawali had no right to his place as Kalona and has been demoted to the lowest rank of the tribe and all Masters are stripped of their rank and demoted to Itse. Nayati does not react well to this news and does not believe everything that Maska is claiming. After speaking out, Chitsa and Sunki come to his defense and he silently leaves the meeting with his family, fuming.

    Sunki finds Nayati firing arrows at a tree trunk and the two talk about the startling events taking place in their home.

64. Your oppression reeks of your greed and disgrace (26Jul2011) Maska&Nahele

    After Liliana comes home beaten and bruised, Nayati storms over to the Town Hall in a rage and tries to attack Maska while yelling at him for the injustice of his ways. He is subdued by the Guardian Nahele and then told to leave AniWaya by midnight—without his family. Nayati is escorted from the Hall, already making plans on how to take his family and run with all they can.

65. Rain down, rain down on me (29Jul2011) Liliana,Sunki&Anu

    After having fled AniWaya in the middle of the night, Nayati brings his family to Crimson Dreams—the only place he can think where they might find safety. He calls for his friend Anu and she immediately accepts them into her pack's sanctuary after hearing of their ordeal. She leads them to an abandoned windmill to sleep for the night.

66. By River We Come to Spirit You Away (11Aug2011)

    Guardians come to raid Crimson Dreams for the Utinas at night and are met with resistance from the Dreaming pack. Unwilling to stand by and do nothing, Nayati climbs to the top of the windmill and fires arrows down onto the Guardians, killing one.

67. Crossing barbed wire lines (16Sep2011) [Mature] Sunki&Gregor

    Nayati finds his sister's scent leading out of Crimson Dreams and back towards AniWaya. He follows her and comes across her being raped in their old home by one of the Guardians. Without thinking, Nayati attacks the giant of a man and is nearly strangled to death. A desperate stab to the rapist's eye kills the brute though, and Sunki helps Nayati travel back out of AniWaya.
