Name anselm

"Anselm" is an Old Germanic name meaning "God's helmet." Throughout history, a number of key religious historical figures have been named Anselm, including Anselm of Canterbury, a philosopher and saint.

Surname de le poer

French in origin, meaning "of the poor."

Alternate Joule, anything else

Anselm had been known to lie about his name in the past, especially when trying to gather information without letting on too much about himself. This behaviour seems to have stopped, coincident with his first tattoos--as he assumes others will recognise him too easily now anyway.

He does however keep a garage in the city (inherited through his daughter), which is filled with his various stashes and kept locked at all times.

He's good at discerning motives and "reading" others. He can be described as efficient and calculating, and he is quick to pick up new information and skills. Anselm can read, but this is mostly limited to road & shop signs--he lacks the patience for books, especially fiction. Perceptive and analytical, he understands a wide range of physical phenomenon (i.e., science) on a fundamental level. Lately he has taken an increased interest in herbology.

Early in life he was subjected to a fiercely competitive and aggressive environment, and he is unable to ignore the lessons of his past.
