Kansas finds Savina in their room, upset about having reopened some of her wounds in the process of shifting. After Savina explains what lead her to go after Hybrid and how Lubomir taught her to control her rage, the two reconcile.

Savina talks to Apollo for the first time since the fight with Hybrid. She thanks him for saving her life and lets slip that she attacked the coyote because of what he had done to Pilot, Apollo's father. Savina makes him promise not to go after Hybrid again before he leaves to find Pilot.

Ehno visits his sister and she finally comes clean about her rage issues. She apologizes that she kept such a secret from him and promises never to do so again.

Traveling west, Savina bumps into Ember and learns about the new pack that she helped form, AniWaya. Savina tells Ember that she and Kansas are now mates and gives her sister-in-law an idea of where to find a sword.

Savina informs Naniko that she has gotten help with her rage problem and then the two discuss implementing co-ranks for the pack.

Savina goes to Phoenix Valley to see Iskata but is met by DaVinci and the two get into a heated argument after he is rude. Iskata shows up and stops the fight, but Savina heads back home after a few words with her mother-in-law anyway.

Ryan brings her new daughter Valkyrie to Crimson Dreams to see Savina. During their talk Savina finds out DaVinci is the man Ryan loves, but that the father of her little girl is Hybrid. Savina warns her friend against Hybrid and shows her the scars from their fight

Exploring the unclaimed part of Wolfville, Savina runs into Alexey and the two catch up. However when Adelaida comes up Savina tells Alexey that her sister is also a luperci and the Dahlian runs off to find her hypocritical littermate.

Savina decides to follow Alexey to make sure that she will be alright and ends up bursting in on a fight between the sisters. Adelaida turns tail and runs while Savina stays to comfort her friend.

While hunting in the Halycon Mountain area, Savina runs into a wolf named Maserati. Savina learns that she is another daughter of Anselm who is here to meet Ryan and deliver a message to Inferni's leader. Savina tells Maserati all she knows of Inferni and her family members and Maserati tells her about cars.

Geneva tells Savina that she is leaving Crimson Dreams due to her feelings for Anu. Savina asks her not to leave, but her friend will not be swayed.

Savina comforts Anu after Geneva's departure and their conversation takes a happy turn once Anu notices Savina's pregnancy.
